Hmm, not sure being treated diff because driving a Porsche is a good thing. Porsche brings quality to the game, but there is also a lot of brand perception going on, one cultivated very carefully so that Porsche is earning like 8x more on selling one Porsche on average, compared to a 'regular' car that costs half. Fascinating for sure. Pinnacle of a Veblen mass consumption good... In the end of the day, the 5 N was close enough but a lot roomier, and I wasn't looking forward to porsche servicing costs and insurance if buying second hand for similar money... And Porsche perception by others wouldn't help me either...

A Taycan is not fun to drive, while the Ioniq N is incredibly fun. A Taycan stands of course more out comparing to the N, but I promise that in traffick no one cares about the Taycan and its because literally EVERYONE who has a little extra money buys the Taycan. I see at least 5 Taycans everyday, while we can't see the Ioniq daily on the road. If you look for attention (which is a poor mindset) you can buy the Taycan. But if you respect your positive vibes and want to relieve stress or anger, buy the Ioniq and forget about all your problems. The fun that Ioniq has is uncomparable to any EV. Ps; u bought a Red Ioniq, which is not attractive at all comparing to Nardo Grey... But in the end, its everyones own opinion. Enjoy both of the cars!

Hyundai is well aware that luxury car owners will avoid buying it, citing brand value as a reason. So it proved its performance and practicality. N is a practical performance brand. There's no need to be forced to be luxurious and compete in the same way as brands like Porsche.

Would of loved to hear some actual details. Test drove the 5N and was impressed with the power but the suspension sucks on rough roads.
