Great intro, and great editing views! This is like a swan-song review, now it has been retired. I say retired rather than superseded as the replacement doesn't best it in all regards, and may not earn the same cachet level as this lens, also now considering the competition. You've reviewed this lens proud!
A very good lens. I dropped mine and really messed it up. It was on the camera and the camera fell and the lens snapped off the mount! I actually like the lens enough to send it to Fuji to fix. It cost $300 but it was worth it.
I actually own the DSLR equivalent of this lens the Sigma 17-70mm F2.8-F4 on my Nikon D5500. I have also seen this Fuji 18-55 F2.8-F4 for sale attached to a Fuji XT20
fuji has that other kit lens, the 16-80f4, which has WR and the marked aperture ring. The new 16-50f2.8 4.8 lens that they launched has WR and internal zoom. I guess you can't really have all 3 of your wishes together 😁
Yes it’s always a balancing act getting the features you want in one product 😅. I haven’t tried the 16-80mm but the new one looks good although it’s not f/4 anymore and you loose some of the top end zoom but you do gain a few mm on the wide side which is great ⚖️, am keen to try it.
What is your go to lens? 📸

Thanks for the feedback 🙏!
I'm from Brazil and I just bought this lens. I'm going to use it on my XT4 too! I got excited after watching your review :)
I loved your channel. 🤍
Oh thanks so much, let me know how you go with the lens! 😃
When I had the X-T4 this lens lived on the camera. Still one of the best lenses Fuji made.
Yes it’s such a versatile lens!

Yes it’s a great lens! 👍
@olga, you have an error in the photo description at 0:26. It lists f / 2.0, which shouldn’t be possible with this lens.
Thanks for picking up this typo, it should say f/2.8.

Oh that's great, how do you find the Sigma is it good?

I use fuji 23mm 1.4 and fuji 35mm 1.4.. But the 18-55 stay in my heart ❤
That’s great, thanks for sharing! Have you tried the new 33mm?
Thinking about getting a Fuji XT4 with this lens, you got me pretty convinced
It’s been a great camera and lens combo 📸
Is it possible to use it at 55mm/2.8 optimally please?
no, at 55 its minimum is f/4
Good chat
😁
Great review...love your style. You are a very attractive lady which doesn't hurt at all...!
Thank you 🙏
I have this lens, I love it. A bit soft at 55mm for my taste, but it's not a problem.
Yes it’s a great all round kit lens.
