Love this interview.. and oh my gosh, I geeked out so hard over the Black Labyrinth project! It hit a lot of my spooky, nerdy, audiophile sweet spots. Truly a gifted musician.
Started listening to Voltaire a few years ago and gone to see him live every time he comes to my town since. Such a lovely guy and a ton of fun live. I feel like the way he talks about his experience with the acceptance in the goth scene mirrors myself and a lot of others who were bullied and not considered normal by our peers. While there are still gate keepers and assholes in every community the goth/rock/metal scene is overall one of the most open and accepting communities in the world. Edit: Got to the part where he mentions Rose Garden Funeral party. They supported the last show in my town. They were amazing and I'm a huge fan now.
I absolutely LOVED this!!! I saw him many yrs ago and fell in love with his work from then on. Great job, as always 🎶🎼🎵🎹🖤

I've seen him the last two years in Denver, and I'm planning on getting to both CO shows this year.

Very inspirational story!
Love Voltaire! Great interview, Oubliette is my favorite off the album!
never went to no prom ever.
The interviewer talks too much, let the guest speak next time please, and interrupting them mid speach.
