I want to ask an important question: what difference is there between a toxic person who’s an energy vampire, like a malignant narcissist, who creates negative energetic cords to drain people’s energy and life force, versus this guy and whatever his definition of a psychic vampire is? Does this lifestyle encourage taking advantage of people, or is consent important, and how is it determined? Where do you draw the line at who is and is not a psychic vampire, since there is some degree of energy exchange between all humans?
Theres a fine balance between harmful feeding and just taking excess. A lot of energy vampires will take ambient energy from crowds (high energy places like churches, concerts, festivals are popular) or from people who naturally emit large amounts of energy. Taking from people who are already dealing with energy deficiencies or who are generally low energy causes harm, and many in the vampire community believe can actually unintentionally cause "sympathetic vampirism", in which the person with low energy ends up unknowingly leeching energy indiscriminately. This can also happen by over-draining a blood donor and causing temporary iron deficiencies, which can lead to the desire to drink blood or other anemia-like symptoms, though I've never known this problem to occur with tantric (sexual) vampires. Just as with mundanes, you get bad apples that only care for themselves, but feeding is generally a matter of balance and making sure donors are healthy and not being stressed by donation. Energy vampirism is generally a little more risky in terms of depressing unknowing donors while sanguine vampirism is more physically dangerous (blood born pathogens, STDs, scars, possible bad blood *puns haha* leading to assault claims with proof if there is scarring, etc). Hopefully that helps!

Well I am a vampire too, I look way younger than I am and I have ulcerative colitis. What comes with it, for me at least is: blood infusions or iron infusions because you are constantly anaemic. You look always a bit dead, more gray than pale, but I am not too picky about it and because you can't go out so often during the flare ups, you get a chronic vitamin D deficiency. I wouldn't survive without blood from other people or at least iron infusions. So there you have it: A real vampire! Also I am a nocturnal creature, because my flare ups seem to get better at night, I live more in the night than in the day.

I like blade work like swords and what not so when I got the chance to see ww2 bayonet artifact that seen "battle" and the... Etc I could not bring myself to touch it because the energy was just sooo thick and black because of the... "Reddish stains" had a hard time just lookin at it
I know this comment is quite old but as a fellow empath I would like to share some information that may help you. P. S if you don't believe on witchcraft then ignore this lol. Your empathic qualities come mainly (but not limited to) your crown chakra (which is on the top of your head) , a good why to help being overwhelmed with energy is by covering it. Some people use a handkerchief which looks quite dapper imo. But personally I use a hat I really like. You can add sigls on it to help more if you like. my parents recently started having a problem with my clothes and it’s hurt so much and i almost thoight to leave behind the dark that has made me so happy and let him ruin my style but i realize i don’t have to be what they want me to be i am myself and that’s the best thing i could be i love them still and understand where there coming from but i will not make them happy if it hurts me
