Nice vid; beautiful trees, cleanest pool i have seen, (guess the grey dog doesn't bark), thanks for showing us this peaceful and quiet place; it is awesome!
Hmm maybe not but you could contact them. Lots of apartments have a "no pets" policy. Renting a standalone house with yard (and fences) might be what you need.
HI A.J ,I have only just found your video channel. I live out of Sheffield in Tas and I have to say it is pretty quiet. I am planning to visit Dumaguete in May mainly to see if I can retire there and also as somewhere warm that is different and not overrun with tourists (Bali). Can you recommend any cheap place to stay when I get there. Thanks and cheers.
Hi Robin, I lived in Lonnie before. There are plenty of places available but many expats live here so the cheapest places are out in "the provinces". Take a good long look for rentals in this area online to get an idea of what you get for the prices. Many live outside Dumaguete, in Valencia, Bacong or Dauin.
Enjoy the video AJ. I hear there are many brownouts in that area. What do you recommend for someone like me who relies on internet for teaching online.
More like a one-off cost. But stay in the city and a place with a generator if online teaching is your "rice and eggs" (local equivalent of 'bread and butter')
I don't think there's a hotel in Valencia, but there are lots of apartments. These are filling up as Dumaguete has a lot more new expats compared with a year ago.
Hi, We are interested in a one bedroom apartment or home. Can you please email some photos and information. About October 10th , this year. All the best Denys & Nina
A few years ago, my youngest son got sent to Amirillo for work. As soon as he got there, he called home and said, "I hate it here. Everything smells like cow shit!" LOL LOL LOL
Gorgeous place. I could live there. Good video.
27 November 2024......I enjoyed your video ! I already have a good place here in Tagum City, Mindanao. Cheers !

Yeah, it's clean and green, cool and quiet. Socially, a bit artificial though.
that was great mate thanks very much. love these vids.
That's great! Thanks
Nice one. The place looks great.
Most of the buildings are a bit old but it's still a nice place in a cooler area surrounded by forest. Just watch out for the snakes and spiders!

I lived in the Amazon for a while, that place is owned and operated by spiders and snakes. So no worries.
Great video. Love the place!
Thanks! Yes it's a good quiet, cool place.
Excellent. Thanks.
Glad you liked it!
OMG I love it I am sure I will visit it
Good luck trying to get a place there!
Looks like heaven. Sounds that way, too.
Yes its a nice environment to live in, though the forested land around it means snakes and spiders and ants aplenty.
Good Video Brother
Thanks mate!
Did you ever end up doing those other apartment complex videos?
No, just that one when I lived there
You commented on the lack of barking dogs. Do you know of any pet friendly (dogs) rentals in the area?
Sorry, no I don't know. Most apartments don't allow pets but if you rent a stand-alone house with garden then you can get dogs and play loud music.
I have 2 small dogs, Poochons the dont bark dont shed, would they be allowed

I can imagine you describing the smell

You might need a mobile antenna and use a laptop with battery and be able to switch to 4G internet.
@@ajphilippineexpat Would that be crazy-expensive if there were many Brownouts and I do about 4 to 5 and a 1/2 hours per day of teaching.

Hi, fellow Aussie here. What's the price on the one bedroom studios?
@Ray Klein hey Ray I'm not exactly sure but expect around 12,000 a month.
Is there inn or hotel in Valencia, we’ll be there in may

@@ajphilippineexpat thank you Dear
Hi AJ, is there currently an Appartment abailable?
Hey, I thinks there's one available.
Hi,

Sorry I'm living elsewhere now. You'll need to ask an agent or find something online. There are rental websites and Facebook marketplace. Good luck.
My mom's family were pig farmers. We raised chickens, down wind from the dairy farm next door. Sounds like home, sweet home! LOL 😂😂😂😂

Overall, the air at Dulce Vida was fresh and fine, except for that special time when a parasitic plant flowered just out the back of my apartment.
Looks good, not sure id want to spend 25k a month in PH un less its a large house.
The price for living there is not just the apartment, but also for the location and safety, garden, quiet place etc.
wow, you look like Prince Andrew, Doppelgänger...
Hahahaha!
Ha ha ha! I can't really see the similarity myself. Well, maybe if I squint at the screen and look side-on without wearing my glasses.
