I'm just seeing this video in 2023, been a fan of Rick for oh so long. So much talent on the stage, he sings it just like it's an everyday concert. Respect.
Wow this is definitely a moment in time for the capsule.
A little faster then the studio version, but definitely like it better with a live band and proved he can sing with any type of musical style
I finally figured his voice out. He sounds just like this today. I’m thinking the producers on that album made him add more weight to his voice to give him a distinctive sound. It wasn’t natural for him, which is why he would lip-sync so much back then. This video shows his natural voice, which he uses today.

I think they are equally lucky. Brian getting to tour with two incredibly talented musicians (and many others now that queen has a new singer), and Rick getting to sing with a rock legend. I regard Rick as one of my top singers, honestly up there with many more popular and technical performers purely because of his amazing voice and funny personality. I'd say my top 3 are Rob Halford, Freddy Mercury and Rick Astley.
