If it is, in fact, still Gus as HC, it will be pre-emptive apathy for a large portion of UCF fans. If it's a new coach (that's NOT just another retread 'splash' hire by TMo), then fans will at least be intrigued and hold some hope for the future while understanding that next year will most likely be less-than-spectacular.
I'm so glad I skipped the game and decided to work instead. Never thought I would ever say I would rather be at work instead of going to a UCF game. Even during 0-12, I went to every game. That should say something. This team is just sad. I have zero enthusiasm behind this team and this program right now. Until MASSIVE changes are made, this is the new normal. As an alumni and a season ticket holder for over a decade, I just don't care anymore, and that's such a depressing feeling to have.
