Thanks bro Xbox series x was messed up, wouldn’t get past the Home Screen, the chime stopped working. I reset the console in the trouble shoot menu and it fixed everything
I did the safe reset and it goes to the menu but won't let me choose anything besides continue. It doesn't even hover over any other option. Once I hit continue it stays on preparing console.... at the bottom it says don't turn off or unplug console 1% help! please and thank you

On my Xbox Series S I downloaded Halo Infinite and the game was working fine until yesterday when I opened the tutorial
When I did that, the screen just went black and whenever I try to open the game it has the normal loading screen says “quick resume” at the top right then the screen just goes black again after 5 seconds
I’ve tried waiting but it never loads. What should I do?

Follow below as it seems to have worked.
I previously changed the XBS preset 24 bits (8-bit) setting in Video Fidelity to 30 bits per pixel (10-bit), which might or might not have have caused the Blank Screen and/or Invalid Format msg on black screen issue ? I changed it back to 24 bits (8-bit) setting before I did the full console Reboot by following the steps below:
1) Settings
↓
2) General
↓
3) TV & Display Options
↓
4) Video Fidelity & Overscan
↓
5) Colour Depth - keep in 24 Bits per pixel(8-bit)
↓
6) Go back into Settings and then go into System.
↓
7) Console Info
↓
8) Reset Console but choose the option: Reset And Keep My Games App.
Wait for the XB to fully Reboot . You will need to be patient as this could take the console a while to fully Reboot.
↓
If the console has not rebooted showing all or any of your Games, Tiles, Aops, Storage Devices like before the Reboot - then long press X on the controller and choose Restart Console.
PLEASE NOTE REBOOT CAN TAKE ITS TIME.

On my Series S - i got a black screen while switching from Home to Apex. What worked for me was disconnecting all external storage (SSD) disconnect HDMI from tv and console and reomve the power cable from the console. Leave it 10 minutes then reconnect the power and HDMI and if it works reconnect external storage.
Edit: I've noticed switching the inputs on my TV sometimes fixed a black screen. Like if you have your xbox on HDMI 2 then with your tv remote switch it to HMDI 1 then back to 2 and it may restore the image

Hey does this affect anything router wise? Like i had to set up my console to fully connect to my router before this shit happened. Reseting the console wont fuck that will it?
if it doesn't work after this find another tv that will work change all the video settings to the lowest and then try to connect to the tv if it still doesn't work just reset ur console u can keep ur games and apps resetting it worked for me

What if the trouble shoot screen doesn't show and is still black?
That happened with me but it eventually came up after and I tapped restart and the screen just froze
Happened to mine, got it only a couple months ago and won’t go in the menu in this video…
Another simple fix make sure in the “my games and apps” section all quick resumes are turned off as it overloads your Xbox especially with bigger games like hogwarts COD MW or GTA
Also if you look in “my games and apps” before and after the trouble shoot the quick resumes will be gone so I’m pretty sure that this is the fix

I just unplug the XBS HDMI from the TV and put it back in and it seems to fix it when I occasionally get a black screen or sign saying 'Invalid Format'!
I have noticed the XBS HDMI seems a little wobbly/loose when plugged into the HDMI 2.1 socket on the TV (LG C1) - maybe it could be HDMI cable supplied with the XBS that's a issue ?

Your video helped me fix my BSoD as fast a that. OI have a digital xbox i had to buy from a freakin scalper for $580 and a month into having it it froze while I wqas using it and then like three hours I spent on the phone with my mom because she has a laptop and a cell phone. I only have the Xbox and that's the only internet access I have. I DO NOT have any other device. No cell phone, no PC, no tablet, nothing. So microsoft was just freaking up on us and nothing we did worked. All that just to procure the call from microsoft was unavailable not just because its closed at wild hours of midnight to eleven o clock just Unavailable period. Why becasue microsoft and their servers and stuff are crapping out, maybe? But I just accessed the hidden menue and selected continue and that fixed it. What the hell why does this happen. Plus the console was originally produces back in 2019 so it has no real warranty on it. We got it from Amazon before xmas during the shortages. So I am working with what I got here. It was supposed to be a disk console but that's not what I got in the mail. So I guess to hell with Fallout 4, and GTA V but it came with Minecraft, Forza Horizon (4)? and Sea of Thieves. With SoT came the SoT Insider edition. So not a win, but also not a complete and total loss at the same time I guess. Thank you so much for your help. Every video i watch on this tech stuff is either the wrong console, wrong edition (weather that be Digital, or Series or Ones) they are just not real just like Fortnite free vbusk you see those videos everywhere and nobody does anything about those lairs and fake crap videos.
