- In this video Im showing you how to get rid of the black screen of death... I had this problem with 2 of my own xbox one's including my Xbox One X. This Fix is still working as of 2021! I know what people are saying about this being too good to be true but it actually really is as simple as removing all of the stored power out of your console.

Like/comment on this comment if your Xbox is fully Black Screen NOW 30/1/2019 when loading xbox up and nothing is fixing it. Then we can see if its happening to all of us at the same time. Maybe its a bigger issue than just our own personal xboxs???

@@RandumRUclipsr you click on the reset option where you can keep your games and apps then when you load your console back up you can sign in to your Xbox account and everything is there

Update 10/04/22! What worked for me when this happened the 2nd time I deleted some big games on my Xbox that I never played and it works 100% I have the gears 4 Xbox One S 2TB storage hope this helps!

After a million tries to restart , reset and keep games and apps, or reset and remove everything it just immediately goes back to the same "something went wrong screen " with the same error message. Does that mean my xbox one x is screwed? Lol

I’m experiencing this issue on my original Xbox one. I’ve tried something similar to your directions of unplugging the Xbox and booting it back up to get the Xbox one start up screen. But in my case I only get the start up screen and after it finishes, the black screen of death continues. Sometimes it will say “welcome back ‘user’” at the bottom, but that is the only visual/audio I get.
UPDATE: I got it fixed. Tip- do the sync+eject button hold as soon as you turn on the Xbox. This seems to be the only way to get the second beep
Nothing is working for me at all I've tried everything and still getting either the black screen if death or the error E102 crap

Worked for me! booted straight back up on the the green Xbox logo and then asked me to an update, installed the update and it hasn’t been a problem since. 2020

Ok guys so its 9/29/20 and sadly I got the Black Screen of Death but this video solved my solution. If anyone has the black screen of death and tries this and it doesn't work dont freak out yet. I tried it and it didn't load up my console it just put me back on the troubleshoot screen. But your console has an Offline update option. Now before this tutorial video nothing worked including the update. But after I tried this tutorial in the video I gave it another shot at the offline update and to my surprise it was working. So hopefully this info can help you guys out. Because this video definitely helped me out.

after you do this note it will have you sign in like you’re just now setting up the xbox just follow the sign in process but skip the “sign in through the app” after you’ve logged in all your stuff will still be there

Oml it actually worked i held down the xbox button to turn it off then I I'm plugged everything like this guy said and held down the on button while it was off for 30 seconds then plugged everything back in and turned it on and it worked.i was so sceptical reading the comments especially and this sort of thing doesn't work for me a lot of the time but it did and I'm so happy thanks bro
