I have been dealing with a pinched nerve with severe shoulder discomfort/pain for a little over a year. I went to 2 different chiropractors which helped relieve the symptoms but i was always still in discomfort. Out of being desperate for something to work one night about 3 weeks as I could not sleep because of the pain, I came across this video. I now have ZERO pain or discomfort after doing the exercise (3 times a day)they demonstrate sitting down with the pole (I use a painters stick).

So happy I found you. My Dr sent me to a physical therapist for my pinched nerve and she did everything wrong. She told me at some point that she didn't believe I actually had one. I feel she actually made things worse. Thank goodness I don't have to deal with her anymore. I feel this could have been taken care of months ago if she had only done what the Dr. said and treated me accordingly. Well, I'm going to try your treatment and pray that it works.

3 adjustments and 3 traction table sessions later (1 week time of incredible pain w/o the needed narcotics) and my nerve released!

I discovered this video over a week late after suffering the left shoulder and tricep pain, and it was likely due to a pinched nerve. The pain was debilitating. After watching this video, I did a few reps of neck stretching using the towel and neck bending toward the side of the pain exercises while enduring the pain for about two hours or so in the evening, I noticed improvements in the pain on the upper arm and shoulder the next day, though I am still feeling minor tingling in the elbow area, and the pain is now localized to the upper back-shoulder blade area. Thank you for sharing the exercises!

After doing your exercises with the chin, and arms I felt so much better to the point I could sleep a few hours. I then watched this video and will continue to do these steps until I get the nerve better. Again, I appreciate all the tips to making me well again. I am sure it has a lot to do that I work on a computer 9 hours a day.

It hurts during the massage and you'll be sore afterwards, but you'll sleep so much better and most of the pain will be gone the next day. This video is great and I'll implement all the suggestions to take away the rest of the lingering pain!

The towel trick was good for temporary relief but what made the biggest difference was a wrist brace, icing it thoroughly, and a week long oral steroid treatment. Luckily I could still type/write with the brace on. When I took the bar at the end of July it was almost completely gone and now my hand is completely back to normal.

I think it's a trapped nerve just stretching sends shooting pain up to my elbow and out my two fingers and palm. I say my thumb but it's also not because touching things hurts.

Can also roll your back on 1 , 2 or 3 2ltr bottles fill with water n freeze
Then roll your back to the neck
    Works great
Also the towel method stretching the neck and holding the towel using small neck movements back front left right side to side . very minute movements

I’ve got a trapped nerve in my left shoulder. Don’t know which nerve that’d be. Sends pains down my left arm. When doing those extension exercises are you looking for the pain to start disappearing over a long period? When I do them it causes some pain straight away. Always figured that causing pain wasn’t a good thing but is that not the case?

Try wearing a back brace. The simple black kind with velcro straps. It stopped the pain immediately. And I also trained my lower back more. The issue was due to a weak core/ lower back from sitting at a computer 8+ hours a day.

What about pain in your armpit from a pinched nerve in your shoulder blade area? It started with just constant pain, now its tingling too. It started after I tried doing arm lifts with a chair to tighten my under arms. Today I tried going to a P.T for dry needling and it helped temporarily but it's still there!
