I lived at Castle Argyle with my mom in 1969 while she was an actress. We lived on the front closest to Franklin (8:33) top floor far right corner. My mom said we got broken into every other week. She also said that my bed (I was 2) was next to hers and one night during a storm she decided to leave me at my sitters over night. She often got off work late. She went home instead and a guy was trying to break into our apartment thru the window. You can see on googleearth that that floor has a small ledge around it. He was walking along the ledge and banging on our window which was an old beat up heavy metal frame. He managed to break the frame and the whole window fell in and crushed my bed. Not sure what happened to him. I survived since I was over on Seward near Santa Monica. Lot's of crazy stories in that town.
Wow. What a story. Thank you for sharing it. The building has been changed quite a bit just since my video, I should probably do an update. I'd love to hear more about your adventures in Hollywood!
@@VisitingwithMr.V I bet. I've been trying to find out who the owner was when we lived there. My mom said he was a silent film actor who used his money to buy the place. I know it was resold in 71 right after we left.

Yeah, I think I'll do another video on this one, "Visiting the Dark Side"... Sans Souci means "without care"(see Bohemian Grove)... Dr. "Castles" was a German immigrant who was suddenly rich, probably a Mason... Sans Souci appeared to extend from the hill top... Lots more.
