Mike McCastle is an inspiration! World class athlete and humble. I started doing 3 pullups every minute on the minute for 10 minutes and working my way up.

This is fine for just pull ups and stop at or before you can pull yourself over the bar, which is much more demanding and greater strength required.
Pulling yourself over the bar is a real pull up
Not just bring your chin to the bar
Try improving oneself to do that (full pull up) instead of just doing a reversed chin up of the hand grip.

@@titomaximus1377 I don't know why you posted this like to my reply without a comment,
I'm way past my prime, almost 79
I used to do these without any problems, They are the easiest to do.
But I suggested you try pulling yourself strait up and over the bar, The bar comes down in front of you as you go up, (I could do 27 in one min)
I seen people who can do pull-ups, as you are doing, no problem, But when I asked them to do as I did, It was a no go as I learned and they couldn't do a real pull up, yes directly strait up as mentioned, Can you? Unfortunately I've had an accident not allowing me to do them now, Otherwise I would still be doing them at my age,
      Can you do those,
If you never swung on a high bar. (which I still have, in my back yard) It is unlikely you will be able to do said,
That is what I call a real pull up !
But for what your doing it is great for others to watch and challenge themselves.

30 pounds is approximately equal to 1.36E+16 picograms.

13.6 kg. For quick (and inaccurate) calculations it's 2 lbs per kg.

@@StudentInFrance2.2 lb per kg, it aint that bad but wish Americans used tons, kilograms and grams, its way simpler
