    Great review and well edited. The Kuga is a good tow car, we will probably change our older Kuga for a newer one in a few years. Cheers Martin

    Great review, I have 2018 ST Line X AWD auto, its a great tow car, loving the shape and all the extra equipment fitted, its got nearly ever optional extra fitted. not sure about the new Kuga looks, it doesn't look very SUV like, and its lighter too. couple of issues I've had, drivers door, inside at the bottom was showing signs of paint bubble, all sorted by Ford under warranty, but now have noticed water getting into the boot. not yet sure how though.

      Have you checked the rubber seal for pin holes or if its's seating properly

    • @andredowse394
      @andredowse394 2 года назад +1

      @@dbp1312 I have checked, but seal is all oK. I think it may have come in from the rubber grommet from where the tow bar cable enters the boot, as it had split, and me being over eager with the hose when washing. now re-sealed, no further signs of water, hopefully.

    Great review. I have the same issue with all 4 of my alloys on my Vignale. It’s 3 year warrantee is up in August so once lockdown is over I’ll get in to the dealer and see if they can do anything with them.

    Hi thanks for the video I did look at the Kuga in 2018 when we changing our Freelander2 but at that time it was a little pricey and I couldn’t get a good deal so we went for a Xtrail 2.0L auto tenka it had the same issue as you have with the rear bumper possible scratches to the paint work but I was able to source a stainless steel self adhesive with the Xtrail logo and the same for front and rear doors from eBay for about £40 for the lot sad thing I did not check when viewing the car Nissan had removed the CarPlay and android function from the car although the button is still on the steering wheel the car does not have voice activation but like yours usb to car and Siri will work The xtrail 2019 models they reinstated the CarPlay they upgraded the radio head unit went crazy when I found out tried writing to Nissan UK as it was in the 2018 owners manual that voice activation was in the car but as usual small print with disclaimer other than that great car no issues 177bhp

    Wow Oliver. Some views here that is amazing. What drone you used for the footage on there looks great? This must have taken some time to put together with all the different shots on it. Great video.

      Thanks for watching Paul. This was filmed with a Mavic Mini in 2.7k. Yes it took a while. 30hrs in all, lots of colour grading. Thanks for the support, Oliver.

    Very nice looking car when in Vignale spec. For a moment I thought you started a new motoring channel! As you tow the caravn, did you opt for the factory folding tow bar? I'm a fusspot when it comes to integrated features. Do Ford do the accessory of a fold down bumper protection mat? Thanks for a very well presented review. Rob

    • @CaravanningwiththeCoxs
      @CaravanningwiththeCoxs  4 года назад

      Thanks Rob! They do look good. No, our car was a stock car so we have the tow trust detachable towbar. The Ford Towbar is also a detachable version so it wasn’t worth spending the extra getting it retrofitted. I don’t believe ford do a boot protection mat. But I will have a look. Kind regards, Oliver.

      Interesting, i have just bought a Kuga titanium 2.0 tdci. And to my surprise it's got a factory fitted fold away tow bar. You press a button in the boot and it pops out and you push it into position. Its so discreet you just don't know its its there.

      I think folding tow bars are brilliant. You will find when the caravan is plugged in, the car will know its towing and activate towing features such as Ford’s trailer sway control which is part of the cars ESP system.

    I had a Mk 4.5 Mondeo Titanium X Sport Estate for a few years which did have a factory fitted chrome metal protector plate on the very wide boot lip. The downside to that was that while the paint on the boot lip didn't get scratched, the metal protector itself got dented from something being dropped on it which was almost worse. It looked so bad I had to buy and fit a replacement which was about £80.
    Anyway, thanks for the video, I'm looking for a used SUV for my wife's car in the near future, may look at Kuga's.

      Glad you enjoyed the video. We are going to in the near future get it PPF and re-painted. Definitely have a look at the Kuga's however there are loads of other cars in the same class which are brilliant. Notably the Skoda Kodiaq/Karoq. Thanks for watching, Oliver.

    Looking to get a Kuga (same model) to replace the mondeo. How are you finding the boot space (with seats up). The mondeo is huge and we always try and carry as much in the car as possible when towing.

    • @CaravanningwiththeCoxs
      @CaravanningwiththeCoxs  4 года назад +1

      Hi Neil. The boot is reasonable... when we went away a few weeks ago we had our big kampa awning in there, locks and various bags. However we usually put the single seat down and put the awning through there. That means we can get the Aquaroll, Wastemaster and Cadac in there. I hope that helps. Oliver.

      Hi Steven, Mechanically no issues. Nearly on 50,000mls from new and never missed a beat except for our own fault when the battery died.

    Got stuck on wet grass, you will do it's not designed to go off road, it's got no transfer box for high and low range, your car is designed for wet tarmac roads and light snow, I've seen it happen alot with Kia's as well pulling caravans on grass and just sit there spinning 😂😎
