When Adam takes acting seriously, he's really good. Like, his real talents are severely underused, like his singing skills (i.e. the wedding singer) and yes, acting skills. I know he's supposed to be the funny comedian, but as uncut gems and click has shown us, he can really give his best performances when needed.

This movie surprised me a lot and got me thinking about the way we treat some of our close people when we dont want to deal with them. We skip them, avoid them, and then one day they are gone and you wish you did not skip so many moments...but now it's too late. The scene with his dad walking out of his office was really powerful... I cried too, I said "I love you, good night." the night before my dad had a heart attack and I never saw him again or talked to him again. He passed away roughly 5 days later, I was young at the time so they didn't let me in the room.
instead of fast-forwarding everything he could have accomplished everything by pausing time. Pause time to do work. Turn it in and then he spends his unpaused moments with his family. This way he wouldn't waste his life away with a fast forward.
He probably hates his job and just wants the promotion, which is why he doesn't even want to actually put in the effort to work. Of course, it is still better to pause, because skipping means missing out on your already limited life.
@@enzonline8896 yeah after realizing you can just pause time for all the stuff you can do by yourself that brings up the question: What's the moral of this movie again? Or I guess it was the message, but what is it now after realizing you can just pause time for moments you have to do work by yourself.
the "it was just a dream" trope is usually an incredibly lazy bit of scriptwriting but in this story it's used as a way of allowing the main character to actually learn his lesson and learn from it. It's not a "haha no worries it was all just a prank," which is why the trope is so often disappointing. It makes sense given the supernatural nature of the content too.

It's one of the most sad endings ever and legit I cried. Really shows how the movie isn't meant to make you feel good but to make you think
I know it's not perfect and people hate the ending, but I actually really like this film and its message. Enjoy the now and the people around you, because the time you live is short and you should live in the moment. The ending made me cry as a kid actually. Had that been it this would have been a very depressing film.
This reminds me of A Christmas Carol when Sandler loses control of his time control powers. A mental intervention where he sees his past, present and even what could happen if he continues down the path he walks, up to and including his death. Like Uncut Gems and Hotel Transylvania, it can get pretty emotional.
Considering this isn't the first time Christopher Walken's played the angel of death there's nothing really stopping this from being in the same universe as The Prophecy movies.
i would still keep the remote. the key is to never use it for skipping moment but to pause or make other moments more enjoyable and long. like if you ever find you son being bullied you can pause and pants all the bullies and bam suddenly you have made a perfect moment that can cause no harm

"Nothing's more important than family"
Wait huh? Wasn't expecting Dom Torretto
13 years of life i had gone without crying over a movie, then i saw this movie and burst into tears. ITS SO SAD
Damn dude, I thought the message of family was more important was enough and a famn good ending, but giving him that 2nd chance really brought it all together, great movie
"What If You Could Control Time?"
Oh boy I don't think you want to ask that there is SO many thing I could do with that ability
"Prince Habibi and his minions" do be dripping doe 😳
If this didn’t all happen in a dream, this movie would’ve been the most tragic story in a movie ever
0:51 violation
I watched this movie a while ago, it changed me, and the ending made me cry. Great movie.
6:06 IT WAS A MASSAGE

I can't believe Morgz actually got the budget to make a movie out of the pause challenge.
Alternate Title: What if you have the same type of stand as Star Platinum?

I watched this movie with my grandma after my grandpa passed away late 2021 and I've never cried in a movie before and I've seen the movie 2 times before but the ending where they are all out in the rain and he dies. It's one of the most sad endings ever and legit I cried. Really shows how the movie isn't meant to make you feel good but to make you think
Ay nice ending, him understanding family > anything
I know it's not perfect and people hate the ending, but I actually really like this film and its message. Enjoy the now and the people around you, because the time you live is short and you should live in the moment. The ending made me cry as a kid actually. Had that been it this would have been a very depressing film.
Yeah boi, Minute Movies coming in clutch with another fire upload!
There he is! Happy to be pumpin em out
I was holding back tears when he yelled at his father and told him he new how the coin trick works
This reminds me of A Christmas Carol when Sandler loses control of his time control powers. A mental intervention where he sees his past, present and even what could happen if he continues down the path he walks, up to and including his death. Like Uncut Gems and Hotel Transylvania, it can get pretty emotional.
5:34 though
Lol

BRO HE REALLY STUFFIN THE DUCK XDDDDDDDDDDD

12:23 I don't know why, but this bit killed my soul
same
That bit at the end with the ‘James I know you’re watching this video’ really caught me off guard since it's also my name, so naturally I did
Considering this isn't the first time Christopher Walken's played the angel of death there's nothing really stopping this from being in the same universe as The Prophecy movies.
i would still keep the remote. the key is to never use it for skipping moment but to pause or make other moments more enjoyable and long. like if you ever find you son being bullied you can pause and pants all the bullies and bam suddenly you have made a perfect moment that can cause no harm
6:56 is the most relayed. Glad to see my bois at work
That one scene where his dad walked out holding back tears made me feel so sad I’m glad it was fixed
