    I have a circa 2010-2011 P226 Extreme, and it shares nearly all of the same features of this gun. It has a short release trigger (SRT), horizontal fore grip stripes/knurling, night sights. I have a decocker, but I honestly thought all P226s had decockers. Other than the internal barrel coating, and the older style rail... mine has all of this, plus Hogue grips. I also own a fde mk25 and a black as well but i recently bought a 226 Legion and a 226RX and iv gotta say of all my handguns i own each 226 has been absolutely flawless out of the box shooters and spot on with each shot. My neighbor has always been a diehard glock is the be all end all of everything until the day he started shooting my sigs, and he now owns 3 sigs lol still carrys his glocks some times but will now admit he prefers the sig 226 over his glocks.

    • @CoalMiner379
      @CoalMiner379 3 года назад +1

      @@easyenetwork2023 honestly the only glocks iv ever seen be bad about misfiring or something of that nature is 99% of the time ammo related or either its had some cheaper after market parts put in it. Iv got several glocks that iv had gor years now and also got 2 gen 5 model's which are the 19x and the 45 9mm they are basically the same gun just a different color truthfully. But iv honestly never had a problem out of any of my glocks at all , iv had some reloaded ammo fails that caused a malfunction but it was the ammos fault. Now im not saying that there arent any bad glovks out there im just saying from my experience with them, im sure there has been some lemons come off glocks assembly line before you know cause they are high production guns. If they were hand fitted like the high dollar 1911s are id say it was very unlikely but im sure there is bad ones. But as far as buying a glock to protect yourself and family id never ever have a doubt about it firing whatsoever.

      @Hoodsta Pizzo iv got a sig p226 legion in 9mm and it's not snappy for floppy at all, it's got good weight to the muzzle and it's a really well balanced pistol, atleast in my opinion it is anyways, I actually prefer shooting it over my glocks honestly just because of the feel in my hand and the weight of it.

    • @NorincoKid80

      @@NorincoKid80 actually you’d be very wrong. The 92fs is literally designed to plus up in that manner. Beretta even told the us army they weren’t doing a shrouded barrel because that was a very important feature. During the mhs trail.
      Internal extractors are notorious for cracking from feeding the chamber and dropping the slide.
      The internal extractor 1911 and p series all moved away from that style because recruits broke them consistently.

    No front serrations?

    • @TheJimminiShow
      @TheJimminiShow  3 года назад +2

      I've asked a few military customers and law enforcement customers at the gun shop. The few that have seen regular combat told me they rarely used the front serrations on their pistol. One army guy told me he rarely used his pistol at all when deployed. It seems that from what they told me, if they had to use their pistols, they were in trouble, so worrying about front cocking was the last thing they cared about.

      @@TheJimminiShow Thanks for the info. I just assumed that all special ops pistols would have the front serrations.

      No problem. Typically, using the slide lock/slide release is the fastest for reloads. Front press checks are pretty easy even without serations.

    GENTLEMEN PLEASE EXCUSE MY CAPS ( MY CELL'S ATE UP ) ANYWAY , I GOT MYSELF THE VERSION P226 RXP LEGION , TO MY SURPRISE I THOUGHT THAT ONCE YOU INSERT A LOADED MAG ( OBVIOUSLY ) AND COCKED IT WAS READY TO FIRE ( WITHOUT PULLING DOWN THE "DECOCKER" LEVER ) ? I TRIED IT A COUPLE TIMES AND IT DIDNT FIRE . SO I THOUGHT THERE WAS SOMETHING WRONG WITH IT AND I SENT IT BACK TO SIG , 2 DAYS LATER , THEY SENT IT RIGHT BACK SAYING ITS PERFECTLY FINE . SO IN FEW WORDS : IM THINKING THAT YOU HAVE THE OPTION TO COCK IT AND PULL THE TRIGGER ( AND IT WOULD FIRE ) OR YOU CAN ALWAYS BRING THE DECOCKER DOWN BEFORE PULLING THE TRIGGER. IF THE GUN WONT FIRE UNLESS YOU ACTIVSTE THE DECOCKER , THAT MEANS YOU CAN CONSIDER THE DECOCKER YOUR MANUAL SAFETY , RIGHT OR WRONG ? ANYBODY OUT THERE THAT CAN ILLUSTRATE ME , ILL BE MORE THAN THANKFULL .

      Just a quick question, when you say cock it, are you in fact racking the slide? Not trying to imply anything but I need clarification. The 226 Legion should be able to fire in either double or single action mode without having to touch the decocker oh, that's why I have that question
