RUclips is randomly turning off Comments when gun videos are uploaded. I just turned them in for this video.im also informed with a sound issue at the end of the video. Not sure if it took place during the upload. My apologies for that.
Get the SRT.Definitely worth it unless you're constantly scubadiving with it.. Get some G10 grips, also. Better traction and thinner profile. I don't think you mean "over engineered." You probably mean quality, reliable, or durable. Supposedly, it was cheaper to maintain a Beretta over time as spare parts and mags cost less.
1:01 If you want to master de DA and your trigger control, practice with a revolver with a non-slacking trigger like the Ruger LCR or Kimber revolvers.
@@FoulPet I’ve done the same, I use my 226 because it’s the heaviest, this will also help you with all other pulls as well, striker etc, when you can do it with the DA with out moving, another thing that will help is shooting at night, you get a flash sight picture.
I don't know what mags you're using with your mk25 but mines are smooth as butter. Feeding them by hand to the last round is just a bliss and one of the reasons I love this gun so much. Using Mec Gar 20 rounders feels the exact same. What I can recommend though is to upgrade the trigger for a SIG SRT. Huge difference.
Yes, I love the short reset trigger from Sig. However, I want to leave this one 100% stock. Regarding the magazines, I’m using the ones that came with the gun. Thank you so much for stopping by.
I seen that with other channels, don't get it. Anyway, I was voing to respond that this year is the P226 Anniversary. Sig announced it in an email. I bought the Mk25, but I wish I had the P226 X5 Legion.
FYI, Omaha Outdoors lists a P226 MK25 Pistol 15 RD 9mm Night Sights Threaded Barrel, it's currently shown as out of stock, but they are made. Keep searching
@@jimanderson6978 Thank you for your response, i am from belgium and my english is bad. I have already found the mk25 but in belgium we need to be patient and waiting to have the approval of the governor to obtain the authorization to hold the gun. It is more complicated than USA :)
@@MDpolo thanks. how is it compared to this one or a 92fs or maybe a Walther pdp/glock 19? Can a USP be at the same level or is it the kind of gun that mostly stay in the safe ? Thank you
@@bloodymotivationtv5926 For me it’s an apple to oranges comparison because the MK 25 is chambered in 9 mm and my two USP pistols are chambered in 45 auto. Also, the MK 25 fits my hand better, but I shoot the HK better. Go figure! That’s why I own both of them.
@@MDpolo Thank man, I've found a used USP custom sport for 500 here in my country and I am thinking about buy it. I love these guns and wondered how it compare to a 92/MK25 . Glad to see it's a great shooter for you
have had and shot other SIG pistols. never tried the 226 9mm....until today. was looking for either a sig in M11A1 or the 266. my gun store had both. they were both used but appeared to have been "babied". the M11A1 was right at 999/99 the 226 1005. I went with the 226 MK Navy.( it was the Anchor that sealed the deal( I was in the Marines..1969-71, after all the the NAVY IS part of the MARINES (RAHH)!!! TOOK IT APART AFTER I GOT HOME,,,,,,NOT A SINGLE SIGHN OF IT HAVING EVER BEEN SHOT. will be taking it to the range tomorrow.

Shortly after 22:00 the sound cuts out till the outro starts. If you consider uploading it again, have something else in between.
Reliable, heavy and tough as nails.
Excellent pistol one of the best
Great Video , Thank You. Have a SIG P226 too, but the LDC2. I love all P226
They are fantastic firearms and I love mine. Thank you for stopping by.
Great review! Recently got p226 elite. Sig p226 is legendary pistol, same as Beretta m9
I have the 226 mk25 and a legion they are some of my faves. Still edc a 229 elite
Mk25 and Extreme with P229R on the way.
Random observation. Rear slide serrations changed from 47E series to the latest 47G series. 47E has 11 serrations while the 47G has 10.

As it relates to military weapon platforms, the abbreviation "MK" is pronounce "Mark". P226 Mark 25.
Yes sir. Thank you.

Or he could just practice draw fire decock, repeat.
Put a penny just behind the front sight and try to keep it stable during dry fire practice. The pistol is easily fired DAO without ammo.
@@FoulPet I was trolling again, humor.
@alanmeyers3957 I actually practice like you suggested at the range. It's probably not good at an indoor range but I practice outside.

Man, I would love one.
Very nice.
Compared to a "Select" model, the action is very smooth.
Hope to smith the "Select" to pull like the Mk25.
Enjoy your navy.
Thank you very much. I appreciate you stopping by!
Taxes with background checks for MK 25 is $1500 ,I hope I make right choice and thanks nice review.

I have yet to see the P226 X5 Legion in person. That good? As always my friend, thank you so much for stopping by.
@MDpolo My friend let me shoot his X5 Legion and it's outstanding.
I just bought the 226 X5 Legion SAO and fired it for the first time yesterday. Finest firearm I've ever owned!
@@randalljenks7564 Nice! Congrats!
Funny thing my double action shot has almost always been a great shot. Now woth that saod fhe seco d shot is the shot that is usualy off.
Can you please retype your second sentence.
Put a threaded barrel and raised sights. Attached a obsidian 9 to it and trl7 light. Great weapon 👌
Absolutely! Thank you very much for stopping by.
SIG: Damn 226 sales are down... what can we do?? Paint an anchor on it!
Consumers: Shut up and take my money!
Thank you for stopping by.
Very accurate and reliable. Excellent handling qualities. What else is there?
You hit on the things that are important. Thank you very much for stopping by.
I have one sig and it's a P220 45 nitron. All of my other pistols are Glocks because they work 100% just like a sig but for half the price.
I get that. I have a Mk25 and an XD9, both 9mm. My accuracy is similar. I enjoy both of them.
I am waiting for the Mk25 with threated barrel and the tritium sight. I am impatient. Great vidéo

Thank you you
If you have the option buying the mk25 and the legion which me would you be comfortable purchasing?
MK25 by far
@darkdre7 I have both and if one had to go, the MK 25 would stay in my safe. Thank you very much for stopping by.
I just purchased the p226 sao legion. What an incredible pistol, absolutely love it.
Sound quits at 22:03.
Yes, my apologies for that. Something must’ve happened during the upload to RUclips.
The P226 is my shtf sidearm.

Yes. 2 of them.

It sure does! I have the same issue with many HKs as well.
