Yo Raasclark, you forgot to mention that dodos can be used as bio weapons. While not game breaking, dropping a dodo with swamp fever into an enemy base can be thoroughly annoying for them lol
How about Deinoychus (Fluffy raptor) it can be stolen as an egg, moves like a rock drake, latches onto other dinos and applies bleed, and it can go in caves or kill gigas or bosses solo all in the raptor weight class. The Fluffy rex and murder pig also deserves at least a mention for buffing capabilities.

I've been using a otter as a shoulder pet on Ragnarok. I constantly go from hot to cold zones. The Otter adds a bit of insolation, so it is the right choice. It allows me to mostly stay in ghillie to deal with the coastal temperatures and still have enough insolation to go into the icy zone. Even just the day night cycle is enough to go from too hot to too cold in the area I live in, so the otter is a real blessing.
Level melee and you could walk through the snow biome in nothing. The otter's insulation buff increases significantly with each increment, so it's fair to say you could even stroll through Murder Snow in relative comfort.
In his ABC video on the otter, Phlinger said "this will literally change how you play, because you can take the points you were wasting on fortitude and spend them on whatever else." The aren't just a scarf, they are mini AC units and with enough melee points you can use them to hatch eggs even. And they are the cutest. Plus if you breed one for high melee (which is the important stat for the insulation buff) they can save your ass in caves by biting back at bats. AND they can carry multiples of the same artifact. AND you can put little hats on them.
I gotta say, the mantis belongs on this list. Ascendant saddles and picks, hatchets, sickles, and swords make them absolute dominators for their size and maneuverability. If they had a weight reduction buff they'd be almost as good as the stryder for collecting.
Top 10 creatures with the best sound design? That’d be really cool. I love the reaper, for example. There’s something so eerie about a screech, rather than a roar. And now I’m back here and my video idea has been chosen. Thanks! It is such an awesome feeling. Also gotta appreciate Raasclark for looking at the comments so often.
One devastating thing you can do with dodos is to hide a mating pair in or near someones base and if left unnoticed they will quickly spread and lag out the area.
On ARK mobile the dodo can be bred for size along with everything else, allowing you to ride it at larger sizes and put it on your shoulder at smaller ones. It also has the harvester and decimator bits for harvesting crops from bushes and damaging all structures (metal included) in that order. Oh, also a stun attack. So yeah, on mobile they can actually be a strong tame if bred correctly.
The Deinoychus, the fluffy raptor with a bit of work and maybe some tweaked server settings, its a dino that is fast, it can do bleed, it can latch onto the biggest dinos, also it does have a wide swipe, its immune to fall damage, it can leap and if you time this leap with the swipe just right without latching onto the dino, you will shred whatever is in the way. Also their bleed affects does scale up with its damage so you can get a nasty hit and run dinos, being chased by a Trex? Get some distant and do a leaping strike, are you in a pit and need to get out for a break? Latch onto the cliff and leap up. Sure you can only get them by raising one from an egg however the map Valguero is releatively cold at a comfortable 30 degrees Celsius so you can hatch an egg wiht multiple standing torches.

Maewing belongs on this, the speed that they can travel, the nurturing ability, and if leveled they can become very very offensive as well making it a great cave Dino
You missed something with the dodo It can be used for biological warfare! Infect it with mega rabies and drop it in an enemies base using an argy or other flyer

Bro you forgot his natural armor who can poison the ennemis and reduces their damage up to 50%, he can scale his damage and when fully stocked can charge a massive charged attack, not to forget that he is super fast in water and get a boost from it like the spino, he have à huge leader boos, and the male can roar when their is a female to boost other allies speed as well as their stam regen and torpor regen
Ok someone must explain why the giga is on this list jesus chirst i tamed a wild 150 after he woke up i can't level up nothing to it because he just don't earn nothing you can only level up damage and with allmost every point in damage he still do less damage than my rex but my rex have the double oh the health and can actually run for more than 10 seconds:" eH bUt yoU hAve tO BreEd iT" then it's not an op tame because the tamed one really sucks
I use Argies as alpha rex killers. Pump enough points in HP, Stam and Damage and a little in speed to ride their butt so they can't bite you and you have an unstoppable alpha killer.
Real thoughts on dodos. They can be a great source of early game eggs, both for cooking and for someone learning basics of breeding. In attack, you can freeze them with the snow owl and shoot them really far really fast with the gravity grenade (is a glitch).
Honestly? Nah. Reapers are good but the humble Maewing is godly. They let you very efficiently raise the harder to raise animals and reduce space and food requirements while being the fastest mount in the game by a longshot. Your Reaper will undoubtedly be the best tame… after it’s raised by a Maewing. :p
I like the equus personally. Not as an attacking dino, for obvious reasons. Instead, as a portable mortar and pestle. If you get to a high enough level and buy a saddle, you have access to the same items as a mortar and pestle. Keep your needed ingredients in its inventory and go out to tame a dino. If you run out of narcotics or tranq arrows, just run over to that horse. Yes, it might be destroyed, but thats why i level up its movement speed especially.
And also Shadowmane is good for trolling new players, just go invisible on a beach near a bob's thatch hut and pull out a torch or a glow stick while you're invisible to confuse them if it's night time, or during the day you can just walk into them and obstruct their path because I remember my friend used to check on my base and would sometimes troll me by walking into me with the shadowmane invisible.
I'm surprised that the T-Rex isn't on the list I got mine at level 33 it's now level 94 and it has 14,567 health and can do 307 damage and I got it like 3 days ago

10 unmutated theris with vegie cakes and a decent bred deino worked for me. Fed the deino wyv milk send in the theris then just stacked the bleed. Haven't actually tamed a shadowmane yet
The fact that the death of a tamed dodo will spark a guarunteed, brutal, to the death style of war on ANY server- i’d say its way more than overpowered Edit: i feel like pre-nerf mana needs to be mentioned as the most op creature in ark history.
Unpopular opinion but the order for easiest-hardest bosses on the island overseer because tek you can fly and shotgun it if you have medical brews for cold and attack drones with a flak chest piece and glider suit for tek cave, dragon because you ride a yutyrannus with 19 megalosaurus at night and make a wall and megalosaurus don’t get detected by the dragon because it’s night, Megapithacus just is easy, and broodmother because of the sheer unavoidable damage it can do plus the araneos

It can slow dinos attack through armor and saddles get huge dmg reduce from everything insane at gathering berries and can absolutly destroy everything it can pick up with hes tale
He can also protect the rider fully from the sides and the back while soaking huga walls
Glad to see the dodo rightfully made the list
It's funny because the Dodo being at Number 2 on the list actually makes sense to me, since Dodos nearly killed my server due to them breeding out of control and nearly lagging the game to death. Use them strategically and it's like a Nuclear Deterrent XD
Have you done top 10 stages of the game?
First flier
First boat
First boss fight etc
I love the Argent for a relaxing long ride across a map. I have two. A weight carrier/stamina for farming and the other is HP/stamina and damage. He holds his own and has won a lot of fights. He is still alive at the moment. Argents may be slow, but they are tanky-tanks and can carry a ton of crap after upgrading.
Maewing belongs on this, the speed that they can travel, the nurturing ability, and if leveled they can become very very offensive as well making it a great cave Dino
You missed something with the dodo
It can be used for biological warfare!
Infect it with mega rabies and drop it in an enemies base using an argy or other flyer
honestly the poison wyvern is op, especially in pvp. their poison shots do massive damage and hit riders too, I've died alot of times fighting them
Good video man 👍 can you do a top 10 war tames
If you thought that shadow manes hidden abillities are limited due to paws think again try water since it’s not touching ground and you can use bushes to hide the paws
Awesome video!
How did you record the slow mo cinematics btw?
Cheat slomo 0.2
@@Raasclark thank you
@@Raasclark that will actually help me out a ton
1,000,000% the Shadowmane!
-Super jump
-Teleport dismount/chain dismount stun
-Wakes up cryosick/KO tames/people
-Make yourself/everybody invisible (everybody requiring mate boost)
-No/infinite oxygen stat
-40k+ health on pop (Official) easily 200k+ after cryopod levels
Might of missed something😅
If that isn't op I give up 😅
It’s only maybe considered “op” because of lightning wyverns
Bro you forgot his natural armor who can poison the ennemis and reduces their damage up to 50%, he can scale his damage and when fully stocked can charge a massive charged attack, not to forget that he is super fast in water and get a boost from it like the spino, he have à huge leader boos, and the male can roar when their is a female to boost other allies speed as well as their stam regen and torpor regen
Fun fact: dodos take no damage and can be hold when you mount a mount, meaning it does extra damage and takes no absolute damage at all
Thats not true in the slightest
#3 Dodo
I love democracy.
I'm surprised the titanosaur didn't make the list
What about a top ten boss killing creatures
Basically the top 10 mutation creatures for the most part
Theres already a video about it
@@user-db5hk4pq2f he don't have a video titled top 10 boss creatures though top 10 late game creatures
I use Argies as alpha rex killers. Pump enough points in HP, Stam and Damage and a little in speed to ride their butt so they can't bite you and you have an unstoppable alpha killer.
U cant pump speed in argies
No surprise at the number 1. It's the definition of "Oh and it can also-"
ótimo vídeo, traga vídeos assim para o ark ascended pois ta servindo de inspiração para mim criar top 10 criaturas mais esperadas para o ark ascended
Very happy that Argentavis made it on the list
Real thoughts on dodos. They can be a great source of early game eggs, both for cooking and for someone learning basics of breeding. In attack, you can freeze them with the snow owl and shoot them really far really fast with the gravity grenade (is a glitch).
Reaper should be 1. By far the strongest tame you can have especially in pve for bosses etc. 2 reapers at lvl
Honestly?
Your Choice of words are incredible
i once died from punching a dodo cause i took so much fall damage i started crying when it happened
How about Top Ten Hardest Bosses in ARK?
And also Shadowmane is good for trolling new players, just go invisible on a beach near a bob's thatch hut and pull out a torch or a glow stick while you're invisible to confuse them if it's night time, or during the day you can just walk into them and obstruct their path because I remember my friend used to check on my base and would sometimes troll me by walking into me with the shadowmane invisible.
I'm surprised that the T-Rex isn't on the list I got mine at level 33 it's now level 94 and it has 14,567 health and can do 307 damage and I got it like 3 days ago
A reaper is best for killing gigas, but I once killed one with my argy. It was hard, but I eventually led it to the ocean and drowned it and thats how I killed it
Argies can carry two tames? I didn't know that, how do you do it?
u forgot the bloodstalker and i love the vids keep it up bro :)
I haven’t been able to play ark for a year now cause my xbox broke so i just took a really big break from everything ark. I recently got myself a switch and now im just catching up on ark youtube while i wait for the switch uLtimate survivor edition to come out. I can’t wait
Not even surprised, Shadowmane is OP as it comes even after being nerfed
Dodo scares all of his emenies away with his squawking
And it is fast as an cheetah
As a supreme being i think u did me dirty by placing me in the 3rd spot
After beating fjordur's alpha dragon with 19 unmutated shadowmanes and an unmutated X-Yutyrannus, I absolutely agree that they deserve the number 1 spot. As a disclaimer, I did lose the yuty and 11 of the shadowmanes, so still close. But they were UNMUTATED and did that well.
You misspelled dodo as “shadowmanes”. Just wanted to inform you
@@chuckmcgill522 ah my bad
@@chuckmcgill522 not joking tho I do highly recommend a shadowmane squad
10 unmutated theris with vegie cakes and a decent bred deino worked for me. Fed the deino wyv milk send in the theris then just stacked the bleed. Haven't actually tamed a shadowmane yet
How is Quetzal not on the list?? One of the best pvp tames that can be used in basically every situation
I honestly didn’t know the argentavis could carry 2 dinos at ones
have you done top 10 hardest/easiest tames.
Hardest yes
great video bruv
10 most unused useful dinos
bro i watched a lvl 4 dodo kill a lvl 145 sarco
Yes raas u hit 100k well done big man.
Yay more Rass vidz
Top 10 best PvP dinos ?
That would be cool
For those wondering, DodoRex and DodoWyvern weren’t allowed to participate because they’d be an automatic tie for number 1. 😂
So i said Stryders were hard to tame in the poll... didn't knew at the time it could be so easy xD
When i was playing ark i was using more often poison wywern to kill titanosaurs but that's maybe becose i coud not found good stat lightning
I thought the parasaur would be first cuz it's literally one of the best early game dinos and it can help u tame a Pheonix which is op to me
How do you pick creatures up in the argys mouth? I’ve been playing for 4 years and never knew this was possible
Pretty sure it wasn't a thing back then, I played years before release and keep finding things I never knew were a thing
5:36 you are kidding 😂
Many are strong but hard to find
I feel bad for anyone who didn't know that you can't bring to many Giga's to a boss just to see them get instantly killed.
top 10 creatures for osd running will be a good idea or top 10 dino for xxx dlc
Br❤o this helped so much thank you❤
i only got good level lightning wyvern eggs when i got to the wyvern trench today
What about this one
Top 10 Best Looking creatures
Void Wyrm looking at the lightning wyvern 😢
At leas the Rock Drake got an honorable mention.
Hey when can we see Fjordhawk's trailer ?
Anyone's guess atm mate. Hoping tonight
As much as Ark is known for dino inaccuracies... This Giganotosaurus is a million times better than the one Jurassic World came up with.
isn't giga really bad RN bc I tamed one and it had 50% attack and attack and HP was almost not increasing at all
The fact that the death of a tamed dodo will spark a guarunteed, brutal, to the death style of war on ANY server- i’d say its way more than overpowered
Edit: i feel like pre-nerf mana needs to be mentioned as the most op creature in ark history.
I'm a fan of the desmodus. I tend to avoid people in survival games and they are great for that, even during the day.
