      @@mintyfresh9542I’ve been to court aswell and I knew that it is not a place to do something dumb. All he did is squash chances of an early release and plus added onto his sentence BIG time. He didn’t even show up to court for this cause he doesn’t wanna face the consequences.

      Are you kidding? The guy already has 3 felonies and MULTIPLE counts of domestic. He clearly is triggered easy and thinks getting violent is a perfectly natural response to cope with his emotions. The court pressure had 0 to do with it.
      I've been in court too. Yeah, it makes you nervous especially when it doesn't go your way but situations in every day world can get more stressful quick...it's a good example, because if this is his natural reaction in a place he knows there are people to keep him in check imagine what he's out there doing without something to keep him in line? He needs taken from society since he can't just be a good person.

    Amazed how bad the lack of court room security there was. No protective glass or bars for the judge, should've had several bailiffs/deputies standing in front of the judge's bench like secret service for the president or private security body guards for musicians at a concert. WTH! This guy had absolutely nothing to lose.....

This doesn't have to be rocket science. somehow in football we have 7 big strong guys to stop one person from getting into the endzone why can't the same thing work here?

    You can’t possibly sentence this man to prison.He clearly felt better about himself and he couldn’t wait to return to his job as an anger management consultant.Obviously he showed great restraint in confronting the judge and should be sentenced to at least 5 years to living with his court appointed attorney.

      He's in jail. But even in jail, and inmate can refuse to attend court proceedings. The court proceedings will go forward without them. They can be arraigned or even tried in absentia.
