Hey Moto-Man. I rode Harley Davidsons with CHP. After retirement I was hired by the Motor Company as a test rider / incident investigator at their northern AZ proving ground. It is soooo true. You will never see a motorcycle parked infront of a therapist's office!
I just bought a 2010 Panamera Turbo with ceramic brakes, sport seats and Burmester and more for less then the tax on this car and it’s 550hp in overbosst with sport plus. Cheers boys.
For no real purpose than your entertainment, here's the options pricing according to the the german configurator: GT silver metallic: 3646,40 € Bordeaux red interior: 696,00 € Red seatbelts: 475,60 € Wheels: 574,20 € Sport exhaust: 3294,40 € Noise insulated glass: 1322,40 € Matrix headlights: 1032,40 € Center console logo: 452,40€ Cupholder covers: 0,00 € (yay!) Painted airvents: 1566,00 € Burmeister sound system: 5196,80€ Base price is 182.521€
I WANT this thing so bad. It’s perfect. But the Turbo S-E-hybrid for the refresh... could be over 700hp? Now that would be even more bonkers. If this is a 911 turbo S wagon, then that would be a 918 wagon.
I watch everyone of your RUclips videos. I am a car guy first, motorcycle guy second. But in looking at and around the interiors of the BMW, Mercedes Benz, Audi and Porsche vehicles, the ones with price tags north of $140,000 large, It seems to me that Porsche fit and finish is superior to the others. Tight and purposefully thought out.
7:21 I am not completely agree your point. Once the other noise goes down, the exhaust note will stand out. Also, insulation glass helps in hot climate, and shave some weight (not much, though). IMHO.
You are so blessed to be doing what you do, and not because you do it better than anyone else, but OMG! To drive all that power in so many different carrying cases. Where is the H P / torque numbers headed???
MM you are looking good. I did not need to see this video this morning. I love the panamera. Just got a C8 but the the Gran tourismo style. Heard Tesla is doing a model S plaid version with crazy numbers. Looking forward to the electric panamera review coming up.
@@MotoManTV trying one more time! I’m in the market for a new car next year. Currently drive a 2010 Panamera 4s that is SO AWESOME I may not get a new car at all! @@hummerchine I’m not the motoman , but I’d say go for the Porsche. I must admit, the interior quality and refinement of materials are better on the Panamera. I’m not sure about the driving experience, but I think the Porsche should drive a bit more flat and corner better. But, if you continue taking care of your 2010 4S, it should last! That 4.8L NA V8 will be a future classic; like this Turbo S.
@@MotoManTV Interesting. I know the biggest issue with my car (2018) is the weight. Although it gives you a big bump in power over the regular Turbo it's 600 lbs heavier. The model you reviewed seems to have rectified that issue since it is a non-hybrid.
What would you want the special noise cancelling windows? Well because you got a Panamera. I would question that option in a gt3 but in this definetly not. If you are buying a panamera you definitely want the most comfort and luxury as possible while still maintaining the sportiness and all that stuff especially in this turbo s.
I don't mind those laser lights being legal here, but they shouldn't be available for aftermarket unless it comes with a self-leveling assembly. It's already bad enough people keep sticking the wrong bulbs in stock housing. I don't want to literally go blind. Getting eye damage from poorly aligned non-halogen lights is had enough.
Dear Motorman, you obviously never have to endure the long freeway runs to school [our kids are 45min away in boarding school] or go to a second home down the freeway too often. Why do I mention this, obviously Sherlock Holmes deduction? You don't get the double glazed noise reducing glass option...banging down another boring freeway, one soon learns to hate road and wind noise with a vengance.... Nice car , but Porsche need to sort out the small gear change graphics and the itsy bitsy small speedo reading, along with basically useless middle second row seat, why oh why does no sedan have a reasonably useful middle seat? Oh, I know, so I have to buy another fricken SUV! Pissed and not buying
Damn motoman deserves atleast a mil subs :(
It does indeed.

North of $200,000 LARGE! It is my dream car for sure. It used to be the 2021 BMW M5 Competition. The Porsche Panamera Turbo S is magnificent.

Hello. Are you feeling fully recovered from your accident now? Best wishes from UK 🇬🇧🇺🇲

Good review. I’m
Thinking about this car. Two small kids, can’t get a 911 turbo until their older. Thinking this may be the best possible comprise
You must have very special connections to Stuttgart George! Great review, love your detail explaining special technology - like nobody else!

More interested in the 4s hybrid review coming
Wait until you see what that car has in terms of Porsche Exclusiv options.
Killer!
So which car do you prefer?
Porsche Panamera Sport Tourismo or Mercedes E63s Wagon?

Actually have a 2021 Panamera Turbo S Executive on order. Obviously I’m rather EXCITED!!!
What color is that new 4S at the end, Quartzite? Looks gorgeous.
Truffle Brown Metallic.
MotoManTV That exterior would be stellar with the Cohiba Brown Club interior and some walnut trim.
The PDK is the secret sauce!
For the man (or woman) that must have the most hp under the hood but needs a station wagon? Porsche A.G. says, we got your back!
I have a Turbo S E Hybrid that has 680hp. So the new one isn't hybrid anymore and has less power?
A turbo S hybrid is coming soon.
When I chatted with the engineers, they said specifically that there will be another Turbo S E Hybrid. I can't imagine how fast it is.

I'm really excited for the 4s review. Also the base model is twin turbo. Panamera got a really nice refresh.
Love the socks
Danke.
Yum Yum Yum I want one. Only problem here in Oz $500,000.😕🇦🇺🦘🦘🦘
yes, govt tax is one thing, but Porsche's consumer FU tax is horrible for buyers
A 4S with 500bhp? Wow
The rear end looks less like a panamera and more like a cayenne.
Guess 220k up
Good stuff , Trump 2020 so we can afford this whip
Ok I love it but its not 911 Turbo fast!

One of the tubes is squashed. 0:56 Typical shoddy German build quality.
It's an ugly car but you have to admire Porsche in that they keep producing the thing.
