Bro this stuff is so impressive. The 11/8 section is curious tho. The tab has the notes separated into 3+3+3+2/8, however the melody that thom sings seems to put the emphasis in the measure differently, splitting the measure into 2+2+2+2+3/8. It looks/ sounds like the guitar part is also following that same pattern of duplets and a final triplet, rather than triplets and a final duplet. WOAH so now I looked at the 11/8 section in the outro, and it seems like it’s in 2+2+3+2+2/8, another strange way to split the measure.
@@ARadioheadDeepDive man you’re too kind. Your comments really mean a lot, thank you! Big ups to your channel too, it’s great and has been a huge resource
@@ARadioheadDeepDive you totally should! Where else am I going to reliably get clean recordings of unreleased songs lol. No but really, it’s a great channel
@@chopa3000 I would actually round down in most cases as I’d prefer to be a little behind the beat as opposed to in front of it. Like a swing feel sort of thing
That solo is stuff I aspire to do, no clue where to start though
