Now that I’ve almost finished season 1 of the Fallout show, I’m interested to know what you legends would like to see me react to next! I asked for some ideas already, and out of those ideas I put the ones that intrigue me the most in the poll below! SO help me vote for the next show/movie here! 👇

Red Dwarf is a series I think you may enjoy assuming you're unfamiliar.
i voted for hitchhiker guide to the galaxy (and jurassic park), however i must stress the original british miniseries is VASTLY superior to the american movie remake, entire parts of the story were left out of the movie, and the show is just better overall.
i would also nominate twisted metal, which significantly exceeded my expectations... and like fallout it has also been picked up for a second season which is expected out in sometime in 2025; season 1 was mostly an introduction to the core characters and the overall world dynamic.
if you like fallout, you'll probably like twisted metal.
@@YTsupportsZionaziGenocide Dirk Gently Holistic Detective Agency may be the better, off center, center choice of Sir Terry Pratchette's. Or Hog Father maybe? Huge fan of his work in general. [edit: my logic not given being if you like Douglas Adams, you'll like Pratchett]
Arcane is an absolute must. One of the best shows out there, also featuring Ella Purnell (Lucy) as a voice actress for one of the characters (don't look it up, spoiler territory).

This is one episode I was waiting for you to get to... specifically the actual Fallout theme music over the NCR flag reveal...it's right up there as one of the best moments of the show 😊

Im so unreasonably happy that you recognized Matt Berry right away, no one else did and its a travesty because the man is a legend and an international treasure of humanity.
He's definitely a "One Track Lover."
I already knew him from way back in The IT Crowd, so I was already thrilled to hear his voice in the earlier episodes, but when he actually popped up in this episode I lost it in the best possible way
There were control vaults. Ones that weren't running an experiment. Likely open only to senior VT members.
The movie poster for A Man and His Dog was a reference to the real world movie called A Boy and His Dog. It greatly influenced the environment of Fallout. And I believe is available on RUclips.
We caught a glimpse of a super mutant in episode 2.
At the Enclave facility, on a gurney, covered with a sheet.
Only a hand was visible but it was certainly a super mutant.
Ahh I didn't realise that was a super mutant when I first watched it! That's cool!
I love that you watch the post credit scenes. Not many reactors do. They give you little bits of...... oh, I'll let you find out.
I appreciate the effort they put into each of the post credit scenes, so I just have to!!
Seeing the NCR flag for me stirred some emotions, since NV was the first Fallout game I ever played.
I only played 3 so my emotions for the NCR aren't that positive. lol

There are 2 things that happen in the series that I've been looking forward to your reaction to. One is the music when Lucy lifts the NCR flag and the other is coming up in another episode. You didn't disappoint! I love all the things you pick up on.

THIS RIGHT HERE. The fact that Kageric is an ACTUAL fan of the game that can make the connections from the show is a good pat of why she's the best 'reactor' for this series. Even the Fallout channel 'pros' are too jaded to mention some of the Easter eggish details.

I was so excited to see when you'd check out this episode. This was such a good one, I'd figure that Fallout theme song after she pulled the NCR flag out would make you smile. It touches me in the heart. Things are fixing to get bigger and wilder. I can't wait till you can get to see how all the chips fall.
It's funny, I think your right, I'm certain Lucy has come from a sexual positive environment. They learn about sex, procreation, pregnancy, childbirth. On the other end, for Maximus, in the Brotherhood of Steel, it's probably something not spoken about because the main importance of their education is on are on retrieval of past technology, what past technology to look for and combat.

The Ghoul is covering for Lucy, by taking the blame for the Super Duper Mart massacre. Last episode's final scene made Cooper realize what he lost. So no, he won't tell the Govermint.
Episode 6 is probably my favorite episode. I love that we got to spend so much of it in another vault. Ever since you started watching this show i've been excited to see what your reaction would be to the NCR flag and Fallout theme. It was so perfectly done! The first time I saw it I had to pause the show because it just made me emotional hearing that theme with that flag on a tv show.
It really was a great episode, there were so many big moments!! I was feeling all the emotions at that part again when I was editing!
Teddy the stuffed bear and the dog Roosevelt. The stuffed bear i think was made because Teddy Roosevelt the 26th president of the US wouldn't kill a bear that was cornered and it became a whole thing a cartoon and i think the stuffed bear in real life.
I had no idea about that! That's very interesting! Or should I say... bear-y interesting 🧸

The head of the "Govermint" is named Sorrel Booker and dresses in a white suit. This is a nod to the character Boss Hogg in the show "The Dukes of Hazard". The actor that played him was named Sorrell Booke. Boss Hogg was a petty tyrant in the show's Hazard, County, and antagonist to the Duke boys. 🚓
You look like you would fit in perfectly in a vault you have a chippy and upbeat personality!

For those wondering about Moldaver still being alive there are actually multiple ways. Several ways of cryo, serums, hell she could be a Mothership Zeta escapee. There are probably a variety of other possibilities too. Cryo is definitely most likely, but not only option.
One of the end-credits (not saying which one - spoilers) give a strong suggestion for how, and also ties into possible future season 2 events.
You are such a great person. You dare to be yourself - positive and exuberant. I always look forward to these episodes, I just wish you posted a little more often.

One thing I did notice about Vault4, was no mash potatoes,🤔 that might confirm the what's in the potato question and the reason it different in 31is no instant potatoes.

Vault 4 is an interesting one. You are quite astute that the experiments performed there are the source of the gulpers in the area. I'm looking forward to seeing your reaction to the next episode. It's a good one.

Some things I found interesting in the episode were Coops wife expertly dodging the question of “who decided”. She does a great job of instead of only not answering it, but flipping it around and talking about the hardships she had while he was gone. It does make her a character you can empathize with, but that dodge really stuck out to me.
Also another bit of mirroring was Sorrel eating and spitting out the cysts, with Maximus eating the oysters. When I first saw the episode it struck me how much the word cyst looks like the start of oyster. Not a strong connection but something interesting I noticed. Also the character of Sorrel is a reference to Boss Hog from the Dukes of Hazard show.
I also saw a lot of people taking Maximus saying “I’m a knight, we’re not supposed to…” as saying the show is introducing them having to be celibate. Which may be possible, but the scene read to me as him being nervous and a bit embarrassed so he was just making up excuses. I started to take everything they say in the show with a grain of salt, not specifically that characters are lying or wrong, which is always possible, but more that it often shows you one thing then recontextualizes it later. So I often think they are showing you perhaps the intents behind actions but not necessarily the actual thing happening.
I really love how the shows mysteries open up like an onion though. There’s such smart setups and payoffs in it.
These are some really interesting thoughts for sure!! Yeah, that's true that some things that are said seem to get completely recontextualised later, I've been finding that very interesting! They keep us watchers guessing the whole way through!

We dont know what happened to the institute. Moldaver could be a synth.They also have life extension procedures like with Kellogg as well. The "good vaults" are the control vaults,

Im assuming he didnt mean $186, but rather $186,000, gotta keep in mind fallout even the past, Fallout happens in the future, over 50 years from now on an alternate version of earth. So unless theyve had much, much less economic inflation $186 likely wouldnt even be half of a days pay at minimum wage.... and even $186,000 is about 55 times less than cooper guessed, $186 would be over 55000 times less, which is a good context clue.
In the games, prices of fuel, Grognak Comics (see "Hubris Comic" shop in Fallout 4) show HUGE price hikes due to inflation and resource shortages etc ;)
In FO2, a gas station sign shows last prices $1450 for Regular and $8500 for Premium per gallon!

yes, there are good vaults!.. usually aka "control vaults", with no harmful experiments or end goal except just keep dwellers alive and eventually recolonize

All the clues about what is REALLY happening with Vault 4 are right in front of you, but the writing is so good at focusing your attention that you don't see them....yet. 'The Trap' isn't just for Lucy and Maximus. You'll see. 🙂

Another RUclipsr did brought up that the Shady Sands remembrance had Catholic rituals. The ashes came from Ash Wednesday which means one's humility before God, Moldaver in this case. Drinking the blood is the same as the blood of Christ which would also be Moldaver who would be their "salvation". Also I doubt that was real blood but symbolic. Just saying.

@@Kageric I just remembered in episode one of the Brotherhood clerics was holding a thurible, which hold the incense during mass. It was in the scene where the cleric was giving his speech and Maximus was given the pictures of Wilzig and CX404. It was the can hanging from chains and smoke was coming from it.
I guess gulpers must be from games later than 3, since I haven't seen one yet. I was also confused about people living so long when I watched the show before playing a game, but now I know there are all sorts of ways. Well, 1 way anyway, without becoming a ghoul, I guess.
Yep, you're right! They don't appear in Fallout 3. However, you will find them in some other games (I won't mention which games in case you want to learn that yourself!)
