Nice guitar, I got the cheap version EC-1000 Deluxe VB. Great playing very clean. I tried those GHS Boomers Zakk Wylde's on my Les Paul and busted a nut, literally! Lol, string was too wide for the nut and it cracked.

ESP Eclipse 2 with Emg's.
I used to play les pauls Only..this is the first guitar I've played that sounds as good off of the shelf.
I lower the action on it a bit though.

I'd say that Randy holds the throne..especially for melodic structure.
I will say though Jake is right up there as for his technique.
I'd put Zakk 3rd to those two.
He does have some things that are all his own though.
Randy & Jake were originals & ZW..took his chops from them & the allman brothers & did a good job of making them his own.
I like all 3.
