Zakk's most underrated riffs were EVERY riff he played the night he played in his favorite band of all-time, The Allman Brothers Band! Should be called The Allman Brothers Band - Zakk Goes Wylde! At one point, the drummer Butch had to tell Zakk to "Calm the F down! Relax!" and Zakk said "I can't! This is my favorite band ever!" and Butch said "I know! It's mine, too! Now relax!" 🤣
This was the first thing of Zakk Wylde's that I learned about 28 years ago. It's absolutely killer and so fun to play. I still find myself playing it when I'm noodling.
Another great video for another legend, loving these videos Robert. Lately i've been listening back to early Ozzy/Zakk Wylde albums again, there are so many amazing playing in those albums and "Bloodbath In Paradise" riff and "Devil's Daughter" solo are the ones that caught my attention the most. Really underrated songs. Zakk Wylde's sound was fierce on those early albums.
IMO Zakk's best riffs ever are the main riffs from Losin Your Mind, Toe'n the Line, and Troubled Wine, all from the Pride & Glory album. I've been on a P&G kick lately, I have one about every 6 months or so. Some people have an annual Minecraft phase, I have an annual pride & Glory phase
Fantastic video, one of my favorite albums of all time. Just something about the vocals, and all the instruments just worked so well pulling off a great sound!
Demon Alcohol is one of his best most underrated works, the whole damn song. Devil's Daughter and all of No Rest for that matter is great, I feel he was a few years ahead of the curve with that album
Thinks again for another quick lesson . I will say I don't watch your videos the most but for just quick lessons you are my go to guy . I just wish I wouldn't have bought one of those sgx2000's . The preamp sucks but I have lots of other toys so it's all groovey brother
Wow, that one really takes me back. You fricken nailed it dude. Your sound is incredible on this lesson and that are your playing is sweet. I don't think I seen it before. Great job!
This album was full of killer riffs and leads and gets lost in the shuffle when people talk about Ozzy. You are also right, the palm muted part during the pre-chorus after this is really just the best.
I used to love playing this riff! I learned it by ear. I love Miracle Man as well! Sidenote: I wasn't too far off learning it by ear! Could you please show Miracle Man?
As soon as I heard you start playing I got so excited and instantly agreed. I think one of Zakk's most underrated riffs is Lowdown off of Sonic Brew. Such a great song.
The riff and solo from the song gets me though has been playing wenever i need it since the day the album came out and i played it for the first time 20 years later still love tht song and i think its underrated no one ever brings it up and his version of WAR PIGS N.I.B and the WIZARD tony iommi may have pioneered those songs but ZAKK PERFECTED THEM
Love love love ZW, but have to admit that for some reason I haven't followed his projects outside Ozzy O. This 1st song is such a blast blatant "homage" to Randy...maybe too much so. I played that same dark RR little riff when trying to write something, bit immediately said "Stop!!! That's owned by Randy!!!"
it really makes you think, what a regression he had, when he got worse as time go by, almost like a parody, but no rest for the wicked to pride and glory zakk wylde? my fav player
I've not been keeping up with your channel and I've missed a lot. 1.I want to check out your guitar course. 2.what badass guitar are you playing in this Zac Wylde riff video? I think last year I was trying to buy your course for 1/2 cost but I had trouble with payment options.I have since gotten familiar with Google or FB pay( as soon as I am out of FB jail😡)🎸 👍
I knew it was from No Rest For the Wicked. Zakk’s rhythm chops in that album are filthy.
One of my favorites that no one ever talks about is tattooed dancer on Wicked, every riff is just killer
There were a lot of wicked riffs on that album...
great riff, also my favourite on that album
Love the No Rest for the Wicked album. So many rad riffs. His tone was so think. Great video Robert!
Yeah no rest is amazing
Zakk's most underrated riffs were EVERY riff he played the night he played in his favorite band of all-time, The Allman Brothers Band! Should be called The Allman Brothers Band - Zakk Goes Wylde!

They said "easy Zakk, we're not paying by the note!" 🤣💀🎸
About two months ago I randomly came across the live recordings on RUclips and was blown away
Robert (01:30): "I am not very good at them"
Also Robert: *plays it perfectly*
This was the first thing of Zakk Wylde's that I learned about 28 years ago. It's absolutely killer and so fun to play. I still find myself playing it when I'm noodling.
Would love for you to do the whole song as a Tab lesson. Awesome job.
I love these older 80's metal riffs. They're generally pretty easy but sound so cool with melodies over pedaling open strings.
The whole No Rest For The Wicked album is full of awesome (underrated) riffs!
That trilly hammer on thing in the first one is so Tony Iommi. Big Sabbath influence there
Please do mick mars! He's such a underrated player
100% agree!
That's a great shout!! I would love a Mars video
Absolutely, Mick Mars! He even Stated that when he started out with Motley that he really pushed himself to become a much better player and it shows
Mick mars mick mars mick mars!!!! 👽 🎸
I just bought your Fretboard Mobility course because you are a great teacher and so inspiring!
Thanks so much!
Hi Janeane 👋
Super stoked to see Black Label Society next week! Zakk is one of my biggest heroes! Such a legend!!
Dude thats awesome have a blast!
Did I miss the BLS clip?

Losin your mind- pride and glory is probably my favorite zakk riff. That whole album is sick
love it! No Rest for the wicket album - was played so much back in the nineties....rocking and cruising around town!
thanks Robert!
Such a killer riff and record! Super underrated, for sure! Good stuff, Robert! You’re a great teacher!
Love the shirt, BTW! DIG IT!
Thanks Robert, totally love that riff, sounds wicked! I had the same feelings when I first heard the song!
ZAKK RIFFS ON THE CRONUS. So excited!!!
Zakk is my favorite. I love trying to play his riffs. Thanks for the help Robert. Stay well dude.

Remember hearing this for the first time back in the day…his rhythm “shakes” caught my ear right away…great song!
If it weren’t for Zakk, my wife and I never would have met.
I wonder if musicians really comprehend their impact in the world.
Tell us the story soilder!
Fantastic video, one of my favorite albums of all time. Just something about the vocals, and all the instruments just worked so well pulling off a great sound!
I just remembered the main riff for My Jekyll Doesn't Hyde is fucking incredible and deserves more love
Every tab I’ve seen says to go all the way down to the 14th fret for the beginning and this way sounds so much better
Demon Alcohol is one of his best most underrated works, the whole damn song. Devil's Daughter and all of No Rest for that matter is great, I feel he was a few years ahead of the curve with that album
I TOTALLY agree with you on this being Zakk's most underrated riff! It;s one of my favorite riffs of all time - so killer!
Can you do the rest of the song? I've been looking for some zakk lessons from no rest for the wicked and no more tears. ❤️
Great job!
This is absolutely one of my favorite songs ever.
No More Tears is a great album, my favourite Zakk sound
Zakk is absolutely crazy, love to watch him on the old videos. Then work out what he's playing, now that's fun and a bit crazy too.
Amazing video! I love this new series on you channel
I love all of Zakk's riffs !! Bloodbath in Paradise is one of my most favorites !! Great job !!!
This album was full of killer riffs and leads and gets lost in the shuffle when people talk about Ozzy. You are also right, the palm muted part during the pre-chorus after this is really just the best.
This kind of video is super cool! Thank you Robert!
No rest is a criminally underrated record imo. Tons of stanky riffs and solos
Blood bath in paradise is a deep cut, underrated ozzy song.
That Guitarsound is amazing. Can you explain the singnalchain? There is that special "grit" to it.
I used to love playing this riff! I learned it by ear. I love Miracle Man as well!
Sidenote: I wasn't too far off learning it by ear! Could you please show Miracle Man?
Pure brewtality! 🤘🔥🎸
Dude I literally got this notification while learning the “I don’t wanna change the world” solo!
🤘🏼MORE Zakk Riffs!! 🤘🏼
Love this song. Would you be able to do an instruction on the whole song? Thanks for the awesome content.
Awesome!! bloodbath was the first one that came to mind when I saw the title!
Thank you for the lesson! Would love to see you tackle “I don’t want to change the world” 🤘
Amazing tone and execution by the way!!!!
Well now I have figure out the part you didn't want to show us ! ha. Thanks for the video, love this riff from Zak
As soon as I heard you start playing I got so excited and instantly agreed. I think one of Zakk's most underrated riffs is Lowdown off of Sonic Brew. Such a great song.

Great to see the Acacia back on the channel!
Awesome, love those underrated riffs videos!
Thanks!
One of my all time faves is The main riff from New Religion (BLS). Deaf simple open pull offs, but sounds deadly!
Killed it Robert !
One of my favorite Zakk riffs for sure.
“Bloodbath In Paradise” is one of my favourite Ozzy songs, so sinister 😈😈
Gotta be a tip of the hat to Randy.
For sure
Nice Work Mr. Baker!!! \M/
Please look at his pride and glory riffs so many hidden gems. Toe'n the line is awesome
youve got killer tone my friend
Hi, nice to watch the acacia again. Take care.
The Zakk Attack..
Devils Daughter... Fire in the Sky man just do the whole album. One of my favorites \m/
That is some killer tone
Thank you very much for this tutorial. Could you do one on Demon Alcohol? Again, thank you.👍
I'd love to know what amp and those settings...that sounded really raw and good especially when hitting the open A.
Zakk is one of the reason why I play guitar.
Do a video on some of his most recent stuff with BLS and pride and glory!
Macho macho man! Shirt. Love that guitar curly maple top it looks awesome.
fingers crossed for "underrated lynch"
George Lynch was a mastermind!!
MORE ZAKK PLEASE !!!
I would love to know what kind of guitar you are playing in the video… thank you brother
I tried to guess what this would be beforehand and though it was gonna be the pre-solo riff from Fire in the Sky
Zakk's definitely underrated imo although people label him as overrated. The guy plays with conviction, like a metal version of BB King
ahhh Thank you !! this riff is Abslutely AMAZING !!!!! so fucking heavy !
I've been trying to figure out lay me down. Been looking for covers or toots.
That riff's super sweet
This is cool, reaching for my guitar now
MORE ZAKK BRO PLEASE
It's nice robert that you can play other Artists riffs but let's hear some riffs you have written
Oh man pretty much every other video I posted has an original piece of music that I write.
Here's one ruclips.net/video/dU3zgGefiSE/видео.html
@@RobertBakerGuitar you're to talented to be playing Riffs that others have already written and it's way to easy to do
What are you running to get that tone. Straight in and attenuated or a program…
Nice ax!! Get WYLDELY BLUESY!!
I would love for you to show Party With The Animals.
Agree; Bloodbath is epic!
Love that guitar.....GIVE IT AWAY?
Mick Mars for the next underrated?
Love love love ZW, but have to admit that for some reason I haven't followed his projects outside Ozzy O. This 1st song is such a blast blatant "homage" to Randy...maybe too much so. I played that same dark RR little riff when trying to write something, bit immediately said "Stop!!! That's owned by Randy!!!"
it really makes you think, what a regression he had, when he got worse as time go by, almost like a parody, but no rest for the wicked to pride and glory zakk wylde? my fav player
like that guitar
could you please explain the tattoed dancer riff for us?
I've not been keeping up with your channel and I've missed a lot.
1.I want to check out your guitar course.
2.what badass guitar are you playing in this Zac Wylde riff video? I think last year I was trying to buy your course for 1/2 cost but I had trouble with payment options.I have since gotten familiar with Google or FB pay( as soon as I am out of FB jail😡)🎸 👍
Cool riff bro
Thanks dude. Love ya buddy
Unfortunately if I played like that in my Manhattan studio apartment my neighbors call the police! Lol
Maybe they are Zakk fans!
How about Jake e Lee for underrated guitarist? Love your content !
It is a cool song, i forgot. I learned Crazy Babies although my pinch harmonic game sounds nowhere near as good as his.
It’s my favourite Zakk erra riff , but Ozzy never plays it live due to what the song is about.
Can you do some songs from the Catachombs of the black album ?
Where’s the rest?
No rest for the Wicked has the best Zakk Wylde ever offered
