I owned a 2006 xtx 1800c. It ate rear tires about 5000 miles until I went to the dark side and put a car tire on it. I rode about 25000 miles like that. I rode the dragon many times and towed a pop up camper. Loved that bike.

Although it is somewhat entertaining when the Harley you passed around 140mph ago catches up a few minutes later and says nice Harley at the gas station, because you are now on empty after only just leaving the gas station lmao.. i fuckin love those washing machines though. they send it

Sean, if you don't look down to see how fast you are going, how are you going to be able to answer the cop's "canned" question? You know, "Hey boy, do you know how fast you were going?" The answer is either, "No sir (thinking calling him sir will get you out of that ticket, which it will not), I was watching the road and being safe." Or "Yes sir (again thinking he will not ticket you for calling him sir), I was watching my speedo and not being safe." So, now he gives you a ticket for speeding and a ticket for "unsafe driving" and then a 3rd ticket for being an idiot for talking to the cop!!!! So, it is best to wear pink, go real slow and put a fake ponytail on the back of your helmet. When the cop stops you and sees you without a helmet (beard, ruff whiskey voice, long hair), he will either puke and let you go OR, like in Wild Hogs, he might want to go to your house and go swimming with you in the neighbor's gay pool party..... Your choice in life....

I just paid $4400 for a 2007 Honda VTX 1800R with 23,000 miles, batwing fairing on it, and a nice Corbin seat. The dealer put a new front tire on it, and I hear some rubbing on the disc, I don’t think they centered the wheel. Other than that, I’m happy. Sold my 02’ Honda VTX 1800N about 8 years ago and regretted that everyday. If you can find one, grab it.

Hondas used to make the twins with 180 degree firing angles vs 270 degree that most have gone to to get that lumpy Harley vibe. The 180s were actually better performing, but they sounded like motorboating boobies.
