After playing the game a second time I can say that i can't wait to experience the hole game. If i can say anything constructive that would be to add if possible voice actors, Steam workshop and different melee weapons. These extras won't make or break the game because you already have a amazing and fun game. You are leaving proof that you don't need a hole team of developers to do a good game. You just need two people who love video games.
@@cultofbloodgame Good to hear. You guys made a huge fan. Hope development will go smoothly and we all can enjoy the final product. Give us a pre-order bonus, I'll be sure to buy it. 😂
(using translator) Congratulations on the video and the game! I just saw a gameplay and that's how I found out about your game! Hahahaha... I thought the circular shadow was funny, I don't know if it's because it's a demo, or if this shadow will be in the final game, but I thought it was interesting! Congratulations on choosing the camera, it was a great idea to use the fixed camera! Hahahaha... I want to kiss you on the mouth, for making a support for the axe, using a rope, my real congratulations. Devs nowadays have become retarded, they prefer to leave the weapon stuck, or floating on the character's back... that's something I'll never understand! Of course the game isn't ready yet, but I thought the character stood out very much from the scenery, he's very colorful and bright, unlike the scenery that is dark and dull! If you can, add a Parry when using the axe. I saw in the Steam video that you focused combat on dodging, but the guy I saw playing the demo suffered a lot and even died in the first fight against the 3 cultists. Are you going to dub the game? If you can't hire professionals, if you can, use AI dubbing. It's much better than playing the scenes in silence. This year has been a surprise for me. I discovered and bought the game Them And Us. I've already added Echoes of the Living and Tormented Souls to my wish list. Now I'm getting to know your game. I found it just as interesting as the ones I mentioned. Congratulations! I hope the translator gets my message across. I'm not trying to point out flaws, but what I'm seeing the most these days are really poor quality indie games, and yours is really promising! I wish you health and success from the bottom of my heart!
First of all thank you for you kind words!!! To answer your points: -the circular shadow saves a lot of performance! it looks kind of funny but it adds to the stylization of the game. -the character standing out from the scenery was also part of the stylization. -a lot of people died in the first battle so we made it easier. -we tried to add parry to the axe, but then you lose the incentive to get further back and use the gun. -dubbing is the number one priority after we finish setting up the whole game. Thank you for the feedback, we will definitely take it into consideration, it's really really appreciated!!!
@@cultofbloodgame (using translator) Thank you for taking my words into consideration! hahahaha... so let's go to ROUND 2! 1- I didn't know that the shadow in a circle was related to optimization, thanks for sharing your knowledge! 4 - I understand your point, but think about it, you can create hand-to-hand combat and make the player save ammo at one point in the story, but at another point, you create a challenge/boss that makes him spend half of what he saved, so the player doesn't get addicted to dodges or parries and doesn't break the game! (And let's be clear, we're just having a conversation, it's your game and its future is in your capable hands!) 5 - The voice acting gives the game a special charm and shows the player that you, the Dev, are doing a serious job with love, this is always a positive point for an indie game! - If possible, as soon as you launch it, try to talk to the players so you can find out who is buying your product and then create a translation, because it is much easier to like a game when we understand the story. (I am Brazilian) - Please try to make it playable on a controller, this is another problem that indie games often complain about. There are games that do not support controllers, but since they do support keyboard and mouse, I use Xpadder, which often saves the day. - And keep focusing on optimization, many indie games also have this problem and not everyone has a top-of-the-line PC. The more accessible your game is, the more people will be able to play it and enjoy your work. Thank you very much for your attention and I will keep an eye on your progress, I hope you make a fun and memorable game. Unfortunately, good work is not always rewarded, but one thing is for sure, if your game is good and has quality, it will always be remembered. I am rooting for your success!

I wanted to see initial thoughts before I tried it but I guess its so early no one has tried it yet. Ok I'll be the first and try the demo now.
Great!! Let us know your thoughts!!!
Just try the game. It was really fun to play and the story is pretty good too. But in all fairness I enjoyed the gameplay most of all.
