It was tough, though, sometimes: people would ask if it was contagious, prefer not to even sit close to me, or touch something I'd just handled, etc. I've also had people claim that "the spot" proved that I had been touched by God. It's pretty crazy. Funnily enough, since refusing to cover it up, I have frequent encounters with people who have a much lighter complexion who eagerly point out that they have it, too. Not sure when vitiligo became cool, but I will say this : USE SUNSCREEN. Thank me later...furrealz :D
