Definitely be sure to get the nether side set up before you hop through the portal. Never knew you could die before your screen rendered through a portal.

I was going to do the overworld design when the other one broke but seeing that I've already did thr nether part I think I'm just gonna do this one instead. That is once I run out of the tridents from the last one. Did a long session just to hold off on the trident hehe

Here's a tip. Use moss blocks for temporary blocks. You can instamine the moss blocks with a good hoe, but won't easily break the ice floor.

Just a tip for anyone that's struggling with the drowned getting stuck in the portal on the nether side, put turtle eggs on the wall and buttons on the bottom part of the portal and they will walk straight for the eggs causing them to fall, makes it alot faster.

So for farms with multiple dimensions, do you have to have two different people, one in the AFK spot and one in the nether? Can you use one account and hop back and forth?

I built the old one from 3 weeks ago. SEVEN Tridents in the first Five minutes!!!!! I can't imagine why I would need to build this newer faster version . And this way I don't need to mess with the Nether. BUT hey if You need more Tridents, go ahead and build This one. Silentwisperer's farms do Not disappoint!!! I built his guardian farm too. Crazy how much experience you can get!

So I haven’t tried this one yet, but I did make one of the older designs... My problem was returning to the nether. If I left the area to use another nether portal, all the mobs transported to the nether would disappear. My only option was to try to safely use the same portal the mobs used. I tried making portals above and below, but it always messed up where the mobs would come out and I’d have poky trident bois walking around.
Have you found a solution? Cause I'm having the same problem
@@nathangreene9642 no, if I remember correctly, I just had a friend wait in the nether for me so I could collect all the tridents I’d need for various farms/trident killers.
Looking back now, you’d probably be able to use the same portal if you put turtle eggs with two air blocks above it on the other end to keep the mobs attention while you slip out a back way. Have them pathfinder over trapdoors and drop. Just make sure to direct it so that when you run straight through the portal, you come out facing the right direction. This is just what I’d try if I did it again. Make a copy of your world in creative and see if that works

Here's a Tip of my own
Use Leaves instead of Glass if you don't want to use slabs (It's Spawnproof even from Raids and cheaper assuming you have a forest and renewable)

Can you please do a build on a underwater air lock? If possible this will be used on a realm on bedrock edition. We have a couple underwater bases. An air lock entrance would be a great addition. Thank you.

my goal for my singleplayer: build every single one of silent's ridiculously over-efficient farms so I only have to use them once for a lifetime supply
My player portal does not linking properly, even after I've broken all of them in the nether and sync. my x and z axis, my player portal still link to the drowned portal, can you please help me about this and should I break all the drowned portals in the overworld side?

1. This farm still works beautifully for anyone wondering. 2. THOSE STRUGGLING WITH PLAYER PORTAL linking and spawning you in the kill chamber. Bedrock is stupid and even tho the y (middle cord) should have no affect on portal linking sometimes it does. I was annoyed with this for hours and finally when I built the nether side player portal at the same height as the kill chamber portal it worked. Hope this helped!

This farm is basically "if ur device/pc can take the load of 100+ mobs in nether in one small place then build it" if not then i dont recommend anyone to build nether connected farms

rates on copper with this farm? trying to make a decent copper farm but every drowned farm i have found or built is kinda meh at best really the current one i have gives about 3 stacks an hour and i need alot higher rates than that
I've built your old drowned farm before, but I found out that its too close to my guardian farm, so I completely destroyed it and rebuilt it with the upgrade faster version. And now I have to rebuild it again...

Anyone have a rough idea on copper drop rates? I need a ton of copper for a project, and currently have a drowned farm, but it produces very little copper. Was hoping to find one that produces much quicker, but don't wanna go through the effort to build it if it doesn't provide much more. Thanks!
In my one hour test I got 290 copper ingots
Silent plz help. Your wither powered cobble farm doesn’t work anymore. When I turn it on it gets like 4 cobble then it seems that the wither breaks it faster than it can generate. Idk what’s wrong with it but can you plz look into it bc I’m sure other people are having this issue too.

Would it be necessary to add string on top of the leaves as well? Had a thunderstorm occur when building so I’d assume yes.
usually the rain in a thunderstorm will put out the fire. also you can just put down a lightning rod somewhere to the side of the farm and avoid all the string:)
@@silentwisperer Yup, thankfully I had an early realization and just used the lightning rod, now I’m trying to make an off switch for the farm using soul torches and pistons.
If want to use lights when building use soul torches and soul campfire . It will not melt the ice . 👍👍👍

For anyone wondering, yes this works with packed ice. Silent doesn't think so, but i built it out of packed ice and it works perfect
only half of the farm will work if you use packed ice. you just cut the rates in half!
you have to use normal ice.

@@silentwisperer went ahead and swapped it with regular ice and definitely is spawning more. Odd mechanic for sure. Farm was absurd with packed ice and is even better now. Awesome

Can anyone recommend a safe distance for the player portal? I don’t want the Drowned to despawn so I try to put the portal around 300 blocks away (overworld) but that still links to the kill chamber for the drowns. I don’t want to put the portal further away because I feel like they will despawn, and I don’t want to use the kill chamber portal to traverse 😅. I am desperate at this point any recommendations are appreciated
I don't think you need a safe distance. Just link the portals. You link properly by dividing the portal coordinates in the overworld by 8 and placing the nether portal at the coordinates you get from dividing. Example 80 and 80 overworld, 8 8 in nether. And the y (height) coordinate doesn't matter. Only x and z. If you need me to explain it easier just comment and I Will read as soon as possible (i'm not calling you stupid, it might just be hard to read and/or understand).
@@Yourmother691 The problem isn’t that I don’t know how to link them, the problem is that I can’t get too close or the portals will link to the wrong ones. I built a portal outside of the despawn-sphere in the nether and linked it to the overworld, and it works fine, but if I go back through even though the portals where initially linked, it still took me to the wrong one. I tried doing this in vice versa and the same thing happened. Essentially my problem is that the portals are inconsistent with where it sends me, because it initially works however going back through it takes me to the wrong portal. I think the easier solution is to just make a portal out of the range of the drowns in the nether and just make my main stand their and kill the drowns while an alt loads them in on the overworld side.
@@flubbedbrush4102 when I first built a drowned farm, I had to put my nether portal higher or lower (I can't remember which) than the drowned portal as apparently it had something to do with the linking. Hope this helps

would it be possible for you to make a skeleton farm in the nether? i know there’s a biome in the nether that spawns like a tonnn of skeletons.
i mean probably a normal mob farm on top of a lava lake which is in a soul sand valley. but i don't think there's a efficient way to drop them off the platform other than normal pathfinding. or kill them.

slabs dont block light. you need the slabs and solid blocks

you need them to spawn "in" it. I dont know the answer to your question though.

Silent I Built this and can see how efficient the farm is by just watching the drowns spawning each second and getting transferred into the nether but it isn't the same in the Nether coz as soon as i go from my player portal to the nether , there aren't any drowns waiting for me to kill them!

you need to make sure the player portal is close enough to the nether kill chamber. if its too far away they will despawn:) i mention this at the end
