works great such an awesome farm, could be more specific about the materials needed tho (for anyone wondering this farm does work if there are nearby structures like bases or something)

Don't lump all the blocks under "building blocks", makes planning very difficult especially if your base isn't near an ocean far enough from land on all sides! There were too many different types of blocks in that category in your materials list to consider them all the same.

A few good additions are a auto sorter and a trident killer
for some people i think its the leafs i put them 25 blocks high and it worked but u also have to put your afk spot at 24 or a little more for spawn rate to kick up and i did 9 extended from original leaf roof
see if it works at night without leafs first also i used a trident killer

What is the rates as so far the best I have seen is 1100 sph (spawns per hour)
Can confirm this works, but had to set simulation distance to 4 to stop drowned from spawning down below. If you want to use this as an XP farm, light up the ocean floor around you to prevent them from spawning down below.
make a floor at ocean water level and light up for xp farm

Place block lights underwater to prevent drowned from spawning down there, that helped me. @@d_is_qualify

For the people saying that it doesn’t work, try looking carefully at the tunnel going down to the kill camber, if u happen to have frost walker of ur boots, that could make it into ice clogging up ur tunnel, that happened to me and it works fine
The water turned into ice by frost walker turns back into water, so you're making crap up or they changed something.

maybe next time you make a video, make sure you put every item you use in the list. and it works for me btw.
Heads up: takes about *25* stacks of leaves for the roof and you need 15 glass not 11

Can we replace slabs becuz we are using leaves so that drown can't be spawn on top
@@gwsoumya6352 it’s not to pregent drowned from spawning it prevents orher mobs from spawning so you don’t have to worry about getting less drowned. Leaves are your best bet

For those who has problem with Drowned spawning, try to change Simulation distance to 4. Works for me.

Dude, next time make a specific building list when you make a tutorial, i needed to go down 3/4 times because i didnt had stuff with me and also should be easy if you add the day/night time thing before hand..
To start the farm go 24 blocks up from the farm once drowns spawn return to kill chamber 😊

drown spawn rate is very low, even at night. made one up in the deep ocean biome. any idea why the spawn rate is so low

so at like 6:44 you said you need 20 stacks of leaves but it was so much more. it was actually around 30 stacks for me

Tip: u can use wood instead of block or if u made it with dark oak so it is super efficient 😮😮
