When coming to the point of unwanted notifications you can put the device in DND or even block to app from notification access. So it's not a valid point. The only advantage I can see is the battery level indicator and locating stolen vehicle. But you can buy the same for around ₹3000.
agree! the sunlight readability and the dust and waterproof thing is an advantage but I do not agree with the unwanted notification gimmicks. Everything on which a rider has to glance during his normal riding is of course a distraction. If you think from a user perspective, they would want to keep purchasing minimum gadgets and 'run their use'.
Depends on our view buddy, even people spend 10k on purchasing helmets and 20k on jackets. You can even ride better if you purchase 1.5k helmets and 2k jackets. If you have the money to invest on the extra gadgets and you feel it adds value to your investment, then one must go for it. There are workarounds for everything.
I remember the time when you told us that you would go back to the old clip ons only if you had any ideas of upgrading to a premium bike and now i know for sure that its happening!!!. Good luck brother

Sir i want to knw about which type of engine oil is suited for Royal Enfield. Mineral , semi synthetic or full synthetic? Also if the semi synthetic or full synthetic is more prone to oil evaporation. This is a big concern. Plus when should we top up our vehicles. And do we really need full synthetic or semi synthetic or mineral oil is just fine. And does mineral oil too evaporate after 1000 km and when shld it get a top up. Plus does a healthy engine still burn/consume some amount of engine oil ? Is dat normal to certain extant? And if yes wat would b judged as abnormal engine oil consumption? and all about Royal Enfield engine oil. Plz sir make a video on this. Turn by turn directions are available in an offline manner for all planned rides. If you miss a turn then you will be directed back to the planned route through compass directions in offline mode. Data connectivity will be needed to send Biker to Biker alerts.
Hope people don't get blindly enamored by this device. Just think logically. 1. IP65 is hardly water resistant let alone water proof. Most of the phones these days are IP67 or 68. 2. Maps also work offline on phones. 3. Pitstops can be added on phones too. 4. This is going to be distracting same as phones if not less (need to look at its tiny screen). 5. Notifying other riders in case of an incident, well that's what phones are for. And let's not talk about the features that are not present yet.

1.How is this not going to be a distraction?- I am bound to have a look down everytime I need to navigate. 2.Does it have a voice command which can be linked to a sena/or any Bluetooth? 3.*Will it be of any help in case of a theft? * 4.Can my parents /family / friends keep a track of my locations from their home? Better to buy a cheap smartphone and put it in a splash proof pouch and you are good to go that will be more affordable for us.

Clearly if this is just a navigation device. I'd rather get a smartphone worth Rs 5000 connect the earphones and it's all peace.
