My hack, also learnt from another youtuber a few yrs ago, get spare key rings, and attach them to my bike jackets zips, front and pocket zips, then I don't fumble to open zips with gloves on. For the backpacks, always close the zips to either of the end of the zip sides, that way it won't blow open while riding
No need for the duct tape on the tyre rotation tip. Just use the marker on the disc itself, one jab of the brakes and the arrow is gone once the wheels back on the bike.
I'd say it's just one of those things to make it so you CAN'T miss it and the tech knows it's there even if you forget to tell them. It'd be pretty easy to miss a marker on the shiny brake disk if you weren't looking for it; I wouldn't suggest putting it on there anyways due to the residue.
Racket and similar long object tip for a backpack: slip the handgrip through the grab handle of your backpack before putting the rest in the bag. Now it no longer slumps and tries to open your bag, and even if something else causes the zipper to open, the racket wants to stay up/has to flip around before it can swing free of the grab handle trapping it.
For the zipper trick, i keep a carabiner on the bags carry handle for that. Its come in handy to hang the bag up and out of the way for storing as well
That's one of the reasons I always carry one on my keychain. Bonus: in areas where pickpockets are suspected, the same trick adds a small layer of security for those walkby-thieves.
I remember seeing an older friend having to pump his forks on his k1200lt to waddle it back into a parking space and thought it was really slick. I like the added efficiency by coming to a stop to compress the forks instead!
Caution when removing the ABS fuse, in some bikes it will trigger the "Fault" or "Check Engine" light and it will not go away even if you put the fuse back again. You have to go to the dealership to remove the warning (they have to plug it to a computer).

As an industrial engineer, I can tell you, that drying your chain with pressurrised air ain't that good for ur chain at all, because you're pushing water and and dirt under the rolls of your chain even though it just got cleaned, there is always a bit of dirt and/or mud on your chain. Even though the last hack hurt me in my engineers heart I liked the video a lot. Your videos are getting better and better.

Try this. If you have a flip up face shield, put a strip of black electrical tape along the bottom edge. Next time you are riding into the sun and are getting blinded, lower or raise the faceshield and use the tape like a sun visor. If you ride a dual sport with a handlebar brace, bend a piece of 3/16 rod into an "omega" shape the size of a pop can and wire tie it to the brace. Now you have a coffee cup holder. Love your videos . If I can give you a hint in which direction a wheel turns. On almost every motorcycle rim on 1 of the spokes there is an arrow incorporated. That's how you can see it. The duck tape also works.
Knowing your own wheel is easy, there's usually a speedo drive on one side, but it's the tyre fitter who needs to be shown the right direction. I use marker pen directly on the discs. If there's a tyre already fitted, that should give them a clue (I use a white marker on the tyre as well).
The water chain is easier when on paddock stand firmly just after a wash, warm up enough for oil flow, put in top gear hold front Brake and spin up once quickly to near full Throttle water goes away
It goes without saying but here goes, when you stab that front brake make sure that wheel is dead straight. Otherwise you're going down!...also my mechanic pointed out that most if not all cast wheels already have markings to tell you the direction of rotation. But as it's not always easy to find the tape trick works but after removing it, some brake cleaner may be needed to remove any residue, so as not to 'gum up' the pads.😁👍
