What!? There's not 5 minutes since I suggested an updated Moto device on other one of your official posts!! This is brilliant, I'll be sure to look into buying a Moto II soon!
I've had my Velo 2 for just under 2 years and I was waiting for the Moto to catch to its standard! Having the road layout displayed in simple form improves on the main issues with the original model, glad this is finally available in Moto form.
Yes, it should fit fine on your Harley - the larger diameter silicone bands should work great, or alternatively the Bar Clamp Mount would suit it perfectly.
Last year my Moto fell off. The plastic mount inside the Aluminium holder unscrewed itself. I have a second handlebar holder on my second bike. Can I use this mount for the new Moto 2 or aren’t they compatible?
Oh no sorry to hear that! Yes, you can use existing Moto mounts with the Moto II - we have developed an adapter insert that you can slot into existing mounts so that they will fit the new device 🙌
Love my Moto, always got me to where I needed to be with no fuss or hassle! Fantastic piece of kit! This latest version looks to improve it further, so I'm definitely interested!
Have you all at Beeline gotten the issue with the "just off route" waypoints causing rider frustration? I heard you might be thinking of a user input/ press of a button to move navigation to the next waypoint. That is ok. Though, if I may make a suggestion.... Currently any waypoint is considered a "stop". Often I use waypoints to just have the route go differently than as suggested by the app. The suggestion for improvement I'd like to offer is to give us riders two different waypoint "types". 1. A "stop" waypoint. This one is where a rider definitely intends to stop at. This waypoint would also get the "continue" button press, should the rider decide not to want to stop anymore. 2. A "standard" waypoint. This one is just for navigational purposes, where the rider added it only to move the route to a different route than suggested by the app (or rather to get a newly suggested route along that waypoint). The rider has no intention of stopping at that waypoint, so once passed by it while riding, the Beeline knows the route should continue (automatically) to the next waypoint. I think with this kind of choice of waypoint, the routing can be done much "smarter". Hope I could help. Oh. Would have been cool to offer past Beeline owners a discount on the Moto II for being loyal customers. 🙂 Scott
What is the power consumption of the app like on a phone? During a long trip I imagine the constant Bluetooth and GPS will take a toll, but is it using only what it needs and not performing excessive checks?
I’m loving the beeline moto, and seriously thinking about upgrading to the moto II. Especially the map overlay makes small complex junctions more clear and safe. Can you say anything about the battery life, compared to the original moto? (With backlight off)
Great question - with Moto II you'll get 10-14 hours of ride time on a single charge depending on what the screen brightness is set you. You can also purchase the Powered Mount Insert accessory, which keeps the device topped up by connecting it up to your bike's battery, so you can ride without worrying about recharging.
I really enjoyed my Moto 1 and it looks like this is a significant improvement (particularly in terms of the screen). I'd be tempted to buy one of these however I did have two mounts fail, will the new mounts be more robust that the previous ones?
Hey Carl! We have redesigned all of the mounts specifically to deal with the reported issues from the original ones. You will see a significant improvement on these too 🙌
i bought a gopro mount from china off ebay for mine for less than a fiver, and used the extra bits that came with it in the box for the stick on mount, rather than the rubbish elastic band thing which doesnt stay still when you come to press buttons or take it off, as well as being worried that it may drop off when the rubber perishes, as all rubber bands eventually do, and it's been perfect and solid. the £25 they were asking for an OEM mount is ridiculously expensive for what it is.
@@ridebeeline that would be awesome. This is actually the only feature that is missing for me to make a purchase decision. Here in Germany are so many street constructions or traffic jams. It would be great to be able to avoid them
Fantastic ! I made so many rides with the first models. (2000kms in 4 days these summer and never lost my route). Having this « track » view seems to be so nicer. Great job ! Will you update a bit the original beeline UI that way ?
Hey @Viik! That is so awesome. So glad to hear that you've had great rides with the original Moto! Unfortunately we can't update the UI on the original Moto to include the mini map view because the screen area is just too small (the Moto II has double the screen size) but we will continue to introduce lots of exciting new features for both devices via the app 🤟
@@ridebeeline thanks for the reply, I was expecting that as the screen is smaller. But I also love the autonomy that provide this small ink screen :) Anyway, I'm really interested about the new one.
If only I had seen this earlier. I ordered my beeline just a few days ago. Had I known about this new version, I would have waited it out a couple weeks... Still, I really like the one I got!
Beeline 1 is fantastic, I personally love the fact that I had to learn the icons and I am still able to feel like i'm exploring without a map based system. You should definitely not phase out the moto1 as it's a great option to work along side this.
Hey @benjaminbate8079! So glad to hear this - thanks for the lovely comment! The original Moto is absolutely not being phased out - we have room for both devices in our hearts and will continue to support both with new features for years to come 😊
I crowd funded beeline moto 1 and use it since day one. Never had a bike trip without it since. The only good reason to get rid of it will be beeline moto 2. Can‘t wait!
This is so great to hear, thanks @DrZocao! We're so glad that you love your Moto device and thank you so much for believing in us from the very beginning 🥰
What's the point with the charging base? Does the color display take so much energy that we need to charge the device while riding? What's battery life for the new device? Just a FYI, the current device doesn't even noticeably use any of its battery on my regular 4-6 hour rides. Like 5% or so.
Hey Ton! You're right that the coloured screen is more power-intensive but the battery life on the new Moto II will still be up to 14 hours (and we think more!) but we have introduced the Powered Mount Insert in response to feedback from users over the years who wanted an option to not have to think about battery life at all 😊
You can purchase a mount insert adapter allowing you to use a Moto II with the original mounts. You can find it for sale on our website, or via one of our retail partners.
Thanks Jerry! Glad to hear that you have been using your Moto device for so long! We hope that you have been loving it. Greetings back to Malaysia from all of us in the UK 😊
Cool. Always like the idea of the Beeline Moto. I felt the previous one didn't quite fit what I would want. This one looks much better, really considering it.
@@johnduquemin4344 I used the self adhesive pad on their mount and removed the middle section so fits direct to the base. I mounted this to the top of the steering column and worked well in my setting. I also got a 52mm gauge chrome surround and modified it to fit the outside - just looks like an old gauge now. People notice it, as not standard, but it does not look out of place. To hide the screw part of the mount I just used some heat shrink. If you have a flat dash it would be mounted direct to that too. You could not recess as need access to the button on the edges. You will not regret it. I've navigated about 5,000miles since April 22 with it.
I have the original moto unit. Ridden thousands of miles touring the globe with it. Like it when it does not lose cell transmission almost every time I go into a tunnel and between numerous buildings in a city. Did Beeline do fix when that happens - it was really frustrating causing me to stop and reconnect or be taken on a direction i did not want to go.
Thanks @tedhoppe5918! Nice, thank you so much for supporting the original Moto 😊. Because the Moto devices (Moto and Moto II) do piggy-back on your phone's GPS, they will be impacted by confused GPS signal (eg. in very build-up areas of cities or in a tunnel) but this does tend to clear up quickly
Is it possible to add a calimoto gpx file in the beeline? The question why. I don’t want to use my phone because of vibration which can be damaged overtime.
Looks great compared to my phone in a case on the handlebars (doesn’t suit a classic bike!). I’m waiting for the May 2024 release date in the UK for the Beeline 2. Was hoping to get it in time for the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride on the 19th but it’s cutting it fine now!
I don’t even have a motorcycle but there are a number of reasons you might pick up a device like this: The original version is on sale for $180, very a cheap phone is around the same price. You can easily spend more than $200 on “cheap” phones. Depending on climate/direct sunlight, phones can overheat, with a separate device you can stow your phone in a bag to stay cool. A separate, secondary phone would require swapping SIM cards or paying for a second service plan which would definitely cost more than just using the phone you already have.
I really hope the flat adhesive mount is available in the package, I don’t have handlebar space to fit one on my bike, so I need to fit one to the glass of my mirror, it’s the only option for me!!
Thanks @japfourme381! You can see the mounting options here: www.kickstarter.com/projects/ridebeeline/beeline-moto-ii-beautifully-simple-nav-for-motorcyclists#:~:text=which%20will%20be%20sold%20separately). Sounds like the 4-hole AMPS would be good for you? If you already have a sticky pad mount, you could use some of those bits (like the arm) to adjust the angle etc.
I have a full-size GPS on my motorbike so I didn't think I needed something like this. On a recent trip to Mexico I went e-bike riding and thought a smaller device like the Beeline would make more sense than a huge thing hanging off the bars so now I'm checking it out.
Some time ago, I wrote you an email about a great idea my son came up with! If riding more than one, and we all have Beelines. Could it be possible to tune in on one anothers? So if loosing eachother in traffic, the arrow points to the "one in charge".
for the most part i'm happy enough with my beeline moto, except for the fact that if you import a gpx the 'back on track' feature doesnt work. i asked about this about 18 months ago and got a 'look into it' response then nada, and it still isn't there.
Oooh sorry to hear about this, thank you for sending this feedback! It might be worth following back up with our support team (support@beeline.co) who can bring it back up with design 👍

Hi there from Malaysia, I love my Beeline so much. This Moto II looks freaking amazing! Can't wait to go for the upgrade although I wonder if it will work with older mounts or we have to change em as well....?
Thanks Richard! So glad to hear that you love your Moto :). Yes, we will have an adapter available that will allow you to use your existing Moto mounts with the Moto II device 🙌
Thanks @dmitrynikolaev355, we have tested it lots and have found that people find the screen size to be great for motorcycling too :). I'll check with the engineers on the MIP question but I suspect that it will have been balancing the cost (and cost to customers) of screen options with quality and user experience... and (again, after extensive testing) we settled on this one
I've heard back from the engineers and it was a multi-faceted decision, including the cost/quality/user-experience trade off and also other benefits to the display that we chose, including better visibility etc.
Hey @dom252! We had to change the mounting system slightly but we have adapters available (for £4.99 each) which will allow anyone to mount a Moto II onto an original Moto mount 😊
Hey @djewen! We feel ya! We'd hate to lose our ride data too. Don't worry - all of your ride data is stored to your app account so it will always be there, irrespective of which device you are pairing your phone to 😊🤟
This looks amazing, the map feature is exactly what I've been wanting. I'm worried about the open usb c port though, is it waterproof for raining riding?
I actually like the fact that I plan my trips with Moto and look ahead at the route to have some sense of where I need to turn. This is opposed to the dumb turn on navigation and follow the arrow I usually do in my car. I am looking forward to Moto 2 for the improved city navigation I'm sure will be benefitted with the map being displayed. Looks great to me, I'm looking forward to it :)
Thanks so much @sinzies! We are so glad to hear this 🥰. Yes, we have heard great feedback from our beta testers on how the mini map has made urban route following much easier!
will you discount previous gen then !? as far as I can see, it looks exactly like Samsung Watch Series, and we can pick them up for INR 10K or less, then why pay INR 15k?
That's correct for now! But we do ship to Taiwan from the Kickstarter page 😊. When we go into general sale in May it will be available through our global network of retailers and distributors 🤟
This is the one I've been waiting for! I had the original and didn't quite get on with it. I did like it though. *This* one? I'm all in. Someone please take my money!
Does this come with an updated app where you can download maps ? As I don’t have a data plan and don’t have internet connection on the road. Other than that I love the original beeline. I have a few classic Shovelheads and don’t want to route power for a ‘big’ gps like a Zumo. It’s so easy to strap the beeline to a mirror stalk with the elastic bands. I also use it on my Piaggio scooter.
@@bmp72 Yes, you are both correct! We don't currently have an option to download maps for offline use but we are looking into it as a feature for later on 🤟
Hey @bloodiex5812 - if you back for a metal edition you will get a choice between gunmetal grey and silver in the backer survey (which we will share with all backers after the campaign ends) 🤟
I have 31,427 miles on the first beeline. I have done many long rides, app says over 1000 hours of riding. I love the compass mode for ending up where I need to be, but I can pick crazy rides as I desire.
I am curious, as someone that rides off roads quite a bit, is this product shock and weather resistant? And what kind of GPS does it use? For example if a user was riding in locations with no cellular service would this still track location?
Hey @sorenmelchior! It is totally shock and waterproof (IP67)! We want it to be able to withstand whatever anyone throws at it and we have rigorously tested it 🤟. It actually piggy-backs off of the phone's GPS! It will work if you don't have cellular service as long as the phone can get a GPS heading (which it can in lots of places without cell service). The only thing to bear in mind is that it isn't able to re-route (if you go off track) without a cellular connection... but it will recognise that you have left the route and guide you back to it 👍
@@ridebeeline thanks for the rapid reply. For me at least, at where i ride in interior Alaska, I still think I should stick to my Garmin 700i Inreach GPS because of lots of dead cellular areas. But I can see how nice this product would be in a more urban environment. I just would love to shrink my Garmin down for my dual sport trail rides. As I need also to run “track me” features so my loved ones know where I am in real time when I am riding and camping solo. If I ever move to a more populated state, I would definitely consider this product.

I've had my Velo 2 for just under 2 years and I was waiting for the Moto to catch to its standard! Having the road layout displayed in simple form improves on the main issues with the original model, glad this is finally available in Moto form.
Thanks @Geshmaal! ❤
Question about the Universal Mount; does it fit on a Harley Sportster 48 ?
We are so glad to hear this, thanks so much Matt! Thank you for your support 🥰
Scott
Very interested to see how they deal with intricate junctions. That was my main gripe with the first one.
What is the power consumption of the app like on a phone? During a long trip I imagine the constant Bluetooth and GPS will take a toll, but is it using only what it needs and not performing excessive checks?
from when it gonna be available any dates ?? and price plz ??
I’m loving the beeline moto, and seriously thinking about upgrading to the moto II. Especially the map overlay makes small complex junctions more clear and safe. Can you say anything about the battery life, compared to the original moto? (With backlight off)
Great question - with Moto II you'll get 10-14 hours of ride time on a single charge depending on what the screen brightness is set you. You can also purchase the Powered Mount Insert accessory, which keeps the device topped up by connecting it up to your bike's battery, so you can ride without worrying about recharging.
Great! I ordered my beeline moto II a couple of days ago 😊
Does this new version take Google traffic and street construction info into account for navigation?
Integrating live traffic info is something that we are looking into 😊
@@ridebeeline that would be awesome.
But I also love the autonomy that provide this small ink screen :)
Anyway, I'm really interested about the new one.
If only I had seen this earlier. I ordered my beeline just a few days ago. Had I known about this new version, I would have waited it out a couple weeks... Still, I really like the one I got!
Would the Moto II navigation work seamlessly as Gmaps in South India?
Hey Ton! You're right that the coloured screen is more power-intensive but the battery life on the new Moto II will still be up to 14 hours (and we think more!) but we have introduced the Powered Mount Insert in response to feedback from users over the years who wanted an option to not have to think about battery life at all 😊
@@ridebeeline So device + power mount + handlebar base, how much in euros? #takemymoney
Can you use the old mount or need a new one.
You can purchase a mount insert adapter allowing you to use a Moto II with the original mounts. You can find it for sale on our website, or via one of our retail partners.
Will it be released in India ?
Beeline Moto is just GREAT! I use it on all my bikes and even use it in my 30 yr old car
Wooo thanks so much Marcel! So glad to hear this 🤩
Greetings from Malaysia, I have had the Beeline Moto for the past year and a half. Glad to hear that Moto 2 is coming with a Map on the screen!
Thanks Jerry! Glad to hear that you have been using your Moto device for so long! We hope that you have been loving it. Greetings back to Malaysia from all of us in the UK 😊
Nice! Looks like a GTA minimap, which is more than enough.
🤣😅 Thank you!
Do they use their patented navigation or is it Google Maps dependent ?
Cool. Always like the idea of the Beeline Moto.
I felt the previous one didn't quite fit what I would want.
This one looks much better, really considering it.
Thanks Elliot!!! Please give us a shout if you have any questions
Wow. This looks fantastic. Great work Beeline ❤
Thank you @ollie-allen!
I use mine in a classic car and it is brilliant, have converted a lot of owners too. Excited to see this new iteration. Great work Beeline team.
So happy to hear that, thank you!!
Thinking of doing the same in my classic car How did you mount it ??
Bee line advocate here, sign me up!!
Thank you!!! We appreciate that 🤟
Looks great compared to my phone in a case on the handlebars (doesn’t suit a classic bike!). I’m waiting for the May 2024 release date in the UK for the Beeline 2. Was hoping to get it in time for the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride on the 19th but it’s cutting it fine now!
whats the price tho?
See our website for full pricing info - in the UK it's £179.99 for the black version and £199.99 for the Metal Edition.
Just a simple question why not buy a mid range cheap phone with way less price than this device
I don’t even have a motorcycle but there are a number of reasons you might pick up a device like this:
The original version is on sale for $180, very a cheap phone is around the same price.
Breaks the minimal look of your naked bike.
I've been looking for something like this! I hope this will become available in the Philippines.
Thanks so much! We are hoping to expand more and more in various territories so, hopefully, we can we can sell into the Philippines soon
Can you guys make something similar but it should show apple maps or google maps directly
Does the Beeline's have the ability to report on traffic, speed traps, hazards, etc. like other well known GPSs?
I suppose the mount is water proof ?!
Yes - the mounts are all waterproof.
Great! Can existing customers get a decent discount?
I have a full-size GPS on my motorbike so I didn't think I needed something like this. On a recent trip to Mexico I went e-bike riding and thought a smaller device like the Beeline would make more sense than a huge thing hanging off the bars so now I'm checking it out.
Thanks @matt_kelly! Please give us a shout if you have any questions 😊
when dose this go live for sale? as i need a gps asap
We're now shipping - you can pre-order now on our website or purchase via one of our retail partners.
Very nice. When is it available in stores like e.g. Louis in Germany?
Thanks! Should be available from May 🙌
Some time ago, I wrote you an email about a great idea my son came up with! If riding more than one, and we all have Beelines. Could it be possible to tune in on one anothers? So if loosing eachother in traffic, the arrow points to the "one in charge".
Oooh yes, love that!! Passing on to the UX team again 😊
for the most part i'm happy enough with my beeline moto, except for the fact that if you import a gpx the 'back on track' feature doesnt work. i asked about this about 18 months ago and got a 'look into it' response then nada, and it still isn't there.
Oooh sorry to hear about this, thank you for sending this feedback! It might be worth following back up with our support team (support@beeline.co) who can bring it back up with design 👍
@@ridebeeline sent, thanks
Got my Beeline Moto 1 a couple of days before I found out you were launching Moto 2........Doh!
However, really enjoy using the Moto 1 and it looks great on my bike
Thank you Jock! Glad to hear that you are enjoying it - and we have space in our hearts for both devices so will be continuing to support and update both 😊. OG Moto is a very solid choice 🤟
So does it require the phone to always be connected to the Internet???
Lovely! But wondering, does it have live traffic so I can avoid traffic jams?
will the moto 2 be able to be used for cycling as well as motorcycling?
Yes, you can use Moto II for cycling navigation!
woowwwww amazing!!! a big step from the first Beelinemoto
Wooo, thank you so much!!! We are so happy to hear this - we think so too 😁❤
Will the moto2 fit on the moto1 mount?
You can purchase a mount insert adapter allowing you to use a Moto II with the original mounts. You can find it for sale on our website, or via one of our retail partners.
Nice!
But , as my opinion, looks small, Like Garmin Fenix pro or similar. For cycling.
Also display. Why not MIP?
Thanks @dmitrynikolaev355, we have tested it lots and have found that people find the screen size to be great for motorcycling too :). I'll check with the engineers on the MIP question but I suspect that it will have been balancing the cost (and cost to customers) of screen options with quality and user experience... and (again, after extensive testing) we settled on this one
I've heard back from the engineers and it was a multi-faceted decision, including the cost/quality/user-experience trade off and also other benefits to the display that we chose, including better visibility etc.
Is it safe from snatcher when you stop at traffic light ?
Will the original mounting bracket that I have installed also hold the v2?
Hey @dom252! We had to change the mounting system slightly but we have adapters available (for £4.99 each) which will allow anyone to mount a Moto II onto an original Moto mount 😊
Guys. Can you carry over your data from the original moto to the moto two though?
I don’t want to loose my historical map data (where I’ve ridden)
Hey @djewen! We feel ya! We'd hate to lose our ride data too. Don't worry - all of your ride data is stored to your app account so it will always be there, irrespective of which device you are pairing your phone to 😊🤟
@@ridebeeline brilliant! Thanks for confirming.
Now just to figure out where to keep the data of where I’ve ridden… a motorcycle 😉🤣
Please make it available in India.. Please!!
We are working on getting distributors in India!
Navigation audio instructions only available with extra subscription? So bad :(
Sooooo it was supposed to be out last month but the web site isn’t updated. What’s up?
Available in India??
Can you turn off the mini maps on the beeline II ? My wife wants the maps but I prefer the minimalist arrow of the original
Yes, you can still use the arrow navigation on Moto II if you prefer.
Can work with my osmand traces loaded?
Is there an effective way to mount these on to a bike with clip ons like a cafe racer build?
Hi @iankane1335 we are developing mounting options for clip ons!
This looks amazing, the map feature is exactly what I've been wanting. I'm worried about the open usb c port though, is it waterproof for raining riding?
Great question - the device is IP67 rated, and the USB port has a seal to prevent any water or dust ingress.
When will it be released ? I want 2, hello hello from malaysia
will you discount previous gen then !?
as far as I can see, it looks exactly like Samsung Watch Series, and we can pick them up for INR 10K or less, then why pay INR 15k?
How to preorder in Taiwan? It looks only available on kickstarter now.😢
That's correct for now!
Thanks Nigel!! 😊❤
Also, looks like your Kickstarter is going rather well, less than 24 hours in. Congratulations team!
Thanks so much! Yes we can't quite believe it. Feeling very lucky to have such amazing support 🥰@@nigelmtb
According to their FAQ on the site you can get the directions set up before you leave a place with Wi-Fi and it will work
@@NostalgiaHDOS I know, thats what I do, But it cannot re-route on the fly when you encounter closed streets and whatnot
@@bmp72 Yes, you are both correct! We don't currently have an option to download maps for offline use but we are looking into it as a feature for later on 🤟
@@ridebeeline well, backer 1621 hopes this option comes soon !
if you fund for the "metal edition", is it the gunmetal or silver one?
Hey @bloodiex5812 - if you back for a metal edition you will get a choice between gunmetal grey and silver in the backer survey (which we will share with all backers after the campaign ends) 🤟
@@ridebeeline perfect, thanks for the quick response
definitely going to be a super hit in India.
No. People would prefer full navigation while touring and everyone has smartphone. This is basically Royal Enfield's Tripper accessory.
I have 31,427 miles on the first beeline. I have done many long rides, app says over 1000 hours of riding.
I love the compass mode for ending up where I need to be, but I can pick crazy rides as I desire.
Love this, Jason! So glad that you have had so many great miles with your Moto device 🤟. Thanks so much for being a Beeliner ❤
How to purchase this in India?
Greetings from India :) Moto 2 looks great :D Just one question, do we need to keep our smartphone screen on all the while using the moto 2?
Hello from Russia! Your product is looking very interesting, really nice!
