I use Bluetooth to connect to my GR Yaris infotainment system. Android Auto. The only time I need to connect the lead is when the battery on my mobile is low. 😊
Thankyou for sharing! The box here does added functionalities, different from what you get with the only phone. Myself I also use the more simple way, but Apple still needs cable for basic CarPlay
The only thing is that because you are mirroring your phone the phone battery will run flat if not plugged in. This is ok if you have a usb or equivalent in your arm rest or glove box where you can plug both the phone and the converter out of eyesight I would have thought a man of your talent could connect up a wireless pad which will kill 2 birds with one stone🦆🦅🐆 💎
You have a great point Michael, this is the main drawback: the point in real life is that during short commutes you don’t need to charge the battery. During longer ones, you can plug it in, but you always benefit of the RUclips and other Apps directly on the car’s monitor, that you just wouldn’t have without this box!
@@AJClubsport In UK the new ones are being rationed. They didnt allocate one to me despite having bought a new one in 2021. I’m now looking at the gorgeous new Honda Prelude, instead, and hoping they do an R version with Civic R mechanicals.
