Mars is a lot closer to the asteroid belt where we can be mining asteroids for precious metals. There are enough resources if people take to eating insects & take more vegetarian meals instead of so much beef, pork & chicken. Advances in food & flavor technology can help with that. As nanotech progresses we are likely to have smaller devices that consume less materials and energy. Recycling is still managed poorly so there's a lot of potential in improving that. 3:25 - The population problem is not about resources it is about super-rich people like Bill Maher who uses use everyone else's resources and then blames population. I am not arguing for a larger population - I don't agree with Elon Musk about that, but the fact is that people with money use and ruin the planet, not the number of people. The one example of too any people is India who plans to double their population by 2060. That's insanity. But so many rich peope suck up the labor and the products everyone else would use for houses or they cut down the forests and support dictators that steal countries' resources for the global plutocrats. Then they also limit production to keep everyone else desperate and under control.
How can Bill be left, and not understand that you need lots of young people to fund social programs? It's not about the total #, it's about the ratio of those who are young and productive to those that are old and strictly consume.
Or you just need to seriously say to people that make over 10 million clear. Guess what, that's enough money from here on out after 10 million the govt is taking 75% of your money. Why? Because the poor, pay for the road tax to their establishments, pay for the gas tax to get to their establishments, pay for the air tax so they can write off their private jets etc etc. They write OFF their entire lives (the rich)...ENOUGH OF THIS B.S.
Bill has not been left for at least the last handful of years. He sold out his supposed principles to corporate conservative interests out of fear of losing his show and giant paycheck.

Billy was saying that he has no real feel for Elon. He met him for a minute. Bill has spent hours with the guy, engineers are all into what he's talking about. I am in this field. AI is going to do things you cannot believe. It will make a dope like me better able to communicate with the engineering team better than the engineer. I can provide radically more information with a land surveying drone than a field engineer. It has unbelievable, pin point measuring. Check measurements for an entire building in real time. No engineer has to come to the job anymore and the math that the drone does automatically is more than the engineer would do. Theoretically, it should make a difference when I have substandard construction crews and I pick out all the errors with it. We are very excited about this geeky eggheaded stuff.
Musk is without a doubt a brilliant businessman and engineer. He, politically, is basically a 90’s democrat, which is why he hit it off with Maher. They kept some classical liberal values and didn’t go extremist with most of the party. The Mars idea is an eccentricity I personally find a waste of time and resources. Billy should remember the 90’s fondly as it is the only time he was relevant. His bias was showing when he called Musk’s supporters apologists and twisted a hearsay story about a pleasant first date into ridicule.

He’s the only person standing in the way of blatant and outright censorship of certain voices. No one in government is doing anything like that. They are a bunch of criminals on both sides. It just took the richest man in the world to do it. And if that’s the case so be it. You can’t “cancel” him like you can with most. And thank god. They would have to kill him in order to do that. So believe “your truth” if you want. But it means nothing. Everyone should have a voice regardless if people like it or not. I mean we have to sit and endure the left coming out and telling us for instance, basic biology is no longer real. Men can be women and vice versa. In fact, there is no such thing as a woman according to them. Chapter 4: The Perfect Machine As the United States teetered on the brink of collapse, Emmett's determination to find a solution grew stronger. He delved deeper into his research, exploring the realm of technology and the power it held to shape society. Amidst the chaos and manipulation, Emmett had a breakthrough-an idea that had the potential to change the world and restore the nation's integrity. He envisioned the creation of the perfect machine, a lie detector like no other. This machine would possess the ability to discern truth from deception with unmatched accuracy. It would expose corruption, dismantle deceit, and serve as a guardian of honesty. Emmett understood that unveiling the truth was the only way to break the chains of manipulation that bound the nation. Emmett assembled a team of brilliant engineers, scientists, and psychologists, all united by a shared vision. Together, they poured their expertise and passion into bringing the perfect machine to life. Years of tireless work and relentless dedication culminated in the birth of a technological marvel. The lie detector they created surpassed all expectations, surpassing any existing technology in its ability to unravel falsehoods and lay bare the truth. With the perfect machine in hand, Emmett and his team set out to expose the layers of deceit that had corrupted the nation. No longer could politicians and power-hungry individuals manipulate the masses with their lies. The machine became a force to be reckoned with, a tool of justice and accountability. The impact of the perfect machine reverberated throughout the United States and beyond. Corrupt politicians and dishonest individuals trembled as their web of deceit unraveled. The stock markets were no longer a playground for personal gain, but a platform for fair and transparent trade. The people, weary from the years of manipulation, found solace in the truth that the machine brought forth. Society underwent a transformation, as honesty and integrity became the guiding principles. The divide between Republicans and Democrats began to blur as the focus shifted towards shared values and the betterment of the nation. But the journey towards salvation was not without challenges. There were those who resisted the truth, clinging to their web of lies. They fought against the perfect machine, fearing its power to expose their misdeeds. Emmett and his allies faced adversity and danger at every turn, but their determination to bring forth a new era of transparency remained unyielding. As the influence of the perfect machine grew, its impact reached far beyond the United States. Other nations, grappling with their own struggles of corruption and manipulation, looked to Emmett's creation with hope. The lie detector became a symbol of hope and a catalyst for change on a global scale. Emmett's revelation was not just about the machine itself-it was a reminder that the pursuit of truth and the rejection of deceit were paramount to the survival of humanity. It was a call to action for individuals to rise above their differences and work together for the betterment of society. The choices laid before humanity became clear: either to live in a world bound by corruption and division, or to embrace the power of truth and build a future founded on transparency and unity. As the perfect machine reshaped the world, the name Emmett echoed in the annals of history. It became synonymous with the unwavering pursuit of truth, the triumph of justice over manipulation. In the face of adversity, Emmett's vision and the power of the perfect machine ignited a transformation that would forever alter the course of humanity. The world stood on the precipice of a new era, where honesty reigned supreme, and the choices made today would determine the fate of generations to come.

I used to think Bill was smart but the last few years he has been very behind the curve.
That’s what smoking weed every day will do to someone.
I just find Musk boring at this point.
Pun intended.
Most 1st world societies are dying out at < 2.1 TFR; and scientific discoveries tend to come out of 1st world societies.
Bill is too high and UNCool to talk to Billy about MUSIC. I'd love to ask Billy: name some records from your childhood , etc. etc. What bands broke up before you could see them, What was your FIRST concert ? I do know that "Action" by The Sweet is one of his all time favorite songs
I'm sure Musk stays awake at night worrying about a washed up rockstars' opinion of him.
when you are rich, even men wanna go down on you
Bill is such a nitwit. Billy was 100% right about the Muskrat.
Bill needs to update his information on the coming population collapse - best to stay informed on topics you are going to talk about.
Is Bill really that tiny?
Yes, Billy Corgan is also like 6’ 3” and in a higher chair so that doesn’t help.
Despite his voice Billy is a very tall dude well over 6 feet.
Lol Elon is not an engineer he is a businessman
If Musk is an engineer, then Maher is a journalist.
"If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."
Bill Maher is unaware of how evil Musk truly is. It is a show.
Just no.
Bill maher really does think he's the smartest man in the worls, sanctimonious plonker 😅
Whats with musk and the wef ?
News flash. Musk isn't a engineer.
The Michael Moore interview as well as the rest of that episode is an example of his shift to conservatism. Moore calls him out for abandoning progressivism.
@@paredown.the left went full r4tard the last 10 years or so.
Trump stared 0 new wars, only president in our lifetimes to do that, and you all hate him
Musk started the electric car revolution and because he's rich you all hate him.
You're all lucky stupidity isn't a crime.
You'd all be locked up for life.
Meanwhile Chicago, the 2024 Democrats Convention city, is literally collapsing like Detroit from covid lockdowns and defund rhetoric right in front of our faces. Literally. Its like the titanic sinking on live tv.
Daily reminder that Elon Musk is NOT a serious person.
Pretty clear that he’s motivated by attention (whether from an audience or from women). He’s got plenty of money, so that box is checked. He should probably take some time off. The stress seems be getting to him.
Steve Jobs, cancer-ridden skin and bones, showed up to Apple until a few months before his death. He could have retired as a multi-millionaire DECADES before then. Some people are motivated by the work.
As a harbinger on a human setting foot on Mars, sending a metaphysical presence, like the Luke Skywalker character did in Star Wars 8.
Mr Musk’s ego and propelled by his confidence has already landed and however the future unfolds should be credited as being the first ego to make it there.
If you really want to know if you like someone, take a significant road trip with them. Drive the Lexus instead of the Tesla if you don't want to get stranded.
I love Elon! He is an honest person
Sarcasm? He's super dishonest. "Self driving next yeae" for 7 years in a row
If you actually believe that, you're gullible as fk. I'd probably wager that you've also fully fallen for the Trump grift as well.
Way to sit on a fence Corgan haha
Yeah that’s pretty much what any wise person would think that isn’t some simp Tesla fan boy or some ignorant moron.
I was surprised how really kinda neat Elon musk really is, when I saw him on snl
His bias was showing when he called Musk’s supporters apologists and twisted a hearsay story about a pleasant first date into ridicule.
he is not an engineer.
Being relevant in the 90's is better than never being relevant like you
Billy Corgan looking like Fat Joe lost a couple of pounds😅
Bill believes Musk does not have a house. LOL. Musk does not have a sincere drop of green blood.
I do ko understand why Bill is so far up Elon Musk’s ! He usually go after both sides and definitely Musks has chosen right wing conspiracy theory crowd !
1. Like said, many of those “conspiracies” ended up being true. ESP when it came to Twitter. 2. He’s lost $ buying Twitter, has the government out to sue him and says he doesn’t care. 3. So if these freaks get a platform then why can’t someone who for example questions covid, or vaccines or the lab leak theory have a platform?
It’s sad that people actually think like this
Cope shitlib.
Hey Bill, it’s the birthrates. It’s the birthrates. It’s the birthrates.
A hater? Let's see how he is doing in.. 5 years.
Musk attracts hot babes? No shit, Sherlock!
Figuring out how to make the electric car😂🎉🎉🎉
Bill Maher is ridiculously naive
He's definitely sincere in many areas. But taking over Twitter was not sincere. He just wanted to troll a whole bunch of people.
He's doing a good job of showing the left what nutz they are
Thankfully he did buy Twitter though
@@Keverything99 - well, I was never on Twitter so I really don't give a shit, but it sure seemed like his whole intention was to piss people off and run it into the ground
It seems like he is on it all day and night every time I go on and see his tweets and replies. I guess he’s earned it at this point?
Lol not motivated by money!!!
Bill , when will you have mtg & or AOC in the club ? Lilly rose Depp ? Daly Show Roy Wood jr ? Or Marty Raney from homestead rescue? AEW is top guy, Sammy Gavora ? Johnny Depp ? Thank You for entertaining us during the Strike .🎉
I love how musk gets credit for the work of many others.. like it’s all his ideas.. these aren’t new ideas
@2:05'ish, I love it how Bills voice becomes hoarse from the weed, hahahahahaha ;-)
He didn't invent the electric car! That was in the 1900's!
People either focus on the geeky product maker or the trolling bad joke tweeter. Waiting for a person to somehow describe Musk in a way that combines those two weird sides of his personality lol
Chapter 4: The Perfect Machine
As the United States teetered on the brink of collapse, Emmett's determination to find a solution grew stronger.
I have always thought Billy was a bit of a Douce bag
Now does Musk use Mennen musk underarm deodorant? Interesting
We r lucky to have Musk!
Man, Joe Rogan and Bill Maher. All of that alcohol and weed must have killed a lot of brain cells.
Bill Maher, shame on you again
Musk did this show with you? How did I miss that? Ive seen him on your other show. I'll look for it. I may not know how to take him, but I dont hate him. I forget, he's an engineer. That does make a substantial difference. I'll never see him actually build anything, will I? He's the engineer. What does he do? draw up the mechanics of a project, and have others build it? I wish I would have met my step father's dad who was a top engineer at Lockheed Martin. He apparently was pretty darn genius. Designed a fighter jet, I believe.
He's not an engineer
Elon Musk has fallen for the need of so much ATTENTION!
Bill gave musk quite the sloppy nobby in his interview. So sloppy that musk looked visibly uncomfortable and nervous to make the interview worse
Smart guy, likely a good guy, but was seriously played by China.
I agree with you on the chyna part.....smart tho? nah. Good guy? debatable. I will give you this, he is smart enough to know the massive sheep following he has and how to take advantage of it.
Everyone, even engineers , have politics
comment faailed to post.
🤣🤣🤣LMAO
Space oligarchs
Thank you for the Elon evaluation. It's how I personally feel about him, and his motivation. Speaking for my self....Figuring out and fixing problems is what gets me out of bed in the morning. He is just doing the same thing with considerable resources. He has made mistakes like we all have, but I feel that his morals are sound.
Musk is "sincere"? What happened to Bill Maher?
Your interview of Musk was truly repulsive and I say that as someone who has been a fan of you for a long time. 😊
I had Musk in my deodorant.
