So just like you I want to start hotshoting but every time I go and ask somebody about my plans all they say “ it’s not a good time right now” and truthfully I’m tired of herring them say that bc when is it the right time? You making so I think I made my mind up and I know it’s not easy but I want to be my own boss.

I run Memphis Tn and surrounding areas. It took a few months to figure out how to get home every night and still make profit. My loads are mostly always a combination of direct customers and load board contacts.

It’s all depends on your area and wether you have direct customers or not. The spot market (load boards) is always up and down.
