    This is by far one of the best informational videos for hotshot that I've seen. Also the first time I've seen those corner protectors, everyone else seems to be just draping moving blankets.

      We greatly appreciate it! You are right a lot of ppl definitely just use moving blankets but that can take up a lot of space. They have since gone up in price to 2 dollars per but at the time we bought them they were less than a dollar for each. But even at 2 dollars a piece for 20 bucks you get a set of 10 and dont even have to fool with blankets anymore. Still worth it in my opinion

    Just binge watched all your videos. This one is by far my favorite! I do not do hot or big shot trucking, but do land clearing and haul all my own heavy equipment. So alot of this I still found applicable to me. Thanks for the tips! Love that bungee tube!!

    Excellent set up! I have a 2020 Ram 3500 Cab & Chassis with a Lamar 30ft Straight Deck. The Cab is at 13500 GVWR & the Trailer is set up at 12500 GVWR. It’s a 26K set up but I run with my CDL out here in CA. I run 11 Western and keep plenty busy. Shout out to my Fellow Military Veterans out there doing the deed. Keep up the great work and content. Shout out to your Pops as well! Nothing like having your family supporting you on your adventures. Godspeed to y’all!

      Not a bad setup at all! A lot of ppl think they have to go out and get what they see everyone else using and in all actuality you just need to get what works best for you because what works for some may not work for others! And thanks for the support from Cali!

    How did make that wind deafeter

    • @adventuresintrucking1995
      @adventuresintrucking1995  2 года назад

      That one is something he came up with/had on his previous trailer and before i got my CDL i was a welder/fabricator so i just brought the plan to life .. but if you go to any welder/fabricator and tell them what it is you want they should be able to bring it to life for you no problem.

      Just be sure to use HEAVY enough material, bar stock is 1” thickness and pipe sleeve big enough to sleeve the bar for the hinge on our set up.

    I got pull over by highway patrol for hot shot. I do have cdl a and hazmat endorsement, I still have followed fsmc regulation. Now I have pending violations on my clearance house.
    I told officer I am not using cdl a licensing doing hotshot and I shouldn't be subject to fsmc rules. Officer said its doesnt matter if you are cdl company driver or not, your cdl license is subject under fmsc rules. I was running empty flat bed less than 26000 lbs.
    My question how do run hotshot without subject to fsmc and not use my cdl so I dont have time constraints or elog as hotshot.
