Only folks who say they are unreliable are the folks who’ve never owned one. Mine is deleted and tuned, I abuse it daily, towed up to 16k easily with it and tow often, and no issues other than a leaky oil filter…. These trucks are badass. Only issue is sourcing parts if anything ever does go wrong.

Our Maxxforce engine on our semi leaked, coolant all the way empty we filled it up with water and it went into the oil. We figured it blew up, went for a mile with no coolant.

Thanks for the video. I should probably do this 1 day during my reset out on the road. 1 thing I was wondering watching the video though. Can you remove the studs for the 10mm nuts that hold the injector on? It almost looks like that piece is removable.

Great video. I had the same message pop up when the truck only had about 20k miles. I was using the regular def. When I switched to the platinum I never got the message again. I’m at 85k miles and still no issues (knock on wood).

There’s like 10 signs saying the height of the bridge for like half a mile going down that road, if you somehow miss all of those you should not be driving a truck in the first place. The amount of trucks that hit that bridge every year is pathetic

Never forget this trucker going down the interstate and throwed his cigarette out right into the Hay he was hauling. I was driving about 70mph passing him when it combusted. This was back when I kept a CB in my car. I kept on hollering at him on 19 and finally he pulls over. I was young going back and forth to College on that Interstate through the week. Anyhow I pull over behind the trailer about 40 yards back and when he stopped it really lit up. He jumped out trying to get his pants buttoned and then out jumps a dang lot lizard. He hollered there was another fire extinguisher on the other side of the tractor so I ran to get it. We got that fire put out barely before it turned into a total blaze. As for parting words he thanked me and I told him to be careful taking care of that other fire while driving😂

I wouldn’t have known the height of the truck. I’m curious tho. For those truckers don’t they have a person who chooses their route?
