Was this filmed in Cyprus? I saw that the caterers was called Crepaland Cyprus. So beautiful, I love the conductor and her way of communicating with the singers.
For all my foreign friends. This song is about a thirsty eagle. The eagle saw a fountain and immediately flew to the fountain to drink. As the eagle was landing he saw a dying tree. The eagle stood on top of the tree and asked it "Whose is this fountain and doesn't let you to drink water?" (the tree was near by the fountain and it was dying from thirst). The tree answered "I can't drink water from the fountain because it is guarded by the God of Love (Cupid-Έρωτας in Greek) and he doesn't let anyone to drink because a young couple met for the first time at the fountain as they both wanted to quench their thirst and they fell in love. But they broke apart and now Cupid doesn't let anyone to drink water until the young couple meet again at the fountain and be one again"
There is something magical about Greek women. I enjoyed this song a lot. The director has that spark in her eyes, i wish i was as happy as her when i do my art. Makes me think if i chose the right thing to do in life...
Екатерина Журавлёва Art is performative. When a choir sings, every member must be searching, digging inside themselves for that spark. It's in everyone, but you can't always see it. After all, if we are always burning, will we not come to a point when we burn out? Do not doubt yourself ♡♡♡

Art is my passion but for years nothing I created fulfilled me and I think there are several reasons for it. For starters I was in a bad place mentally and emotionally because I had lost my father, so I wasn't in a position to enjoy anything. The chemistry of my brain was all over the place and for a very long time I couldn't visualize shapes and compositions in my mind very well- and it was very indicative in my art, so I didn't feel good about it. Another thing is that I kept doing what I already knew so I grew tired of it and it stiffled my progress. It certainly didn't help that I approached my art with the mindset of improving, not having fun. So my advise is, maybe your problem isn't your art. Maybe there's something else that's dragging you down and you need to deal with that first. If you chose art that means something drew you to it in the first place, so I doubt it was the wrong choice. If everything else is fine and it's your art itself, then try doing new things with it. If you are a musician, try a different instrument. If you are a painter like me, try a different medium. For me that's what it took and getting unstuck in my art and enjoying it again helped me cope with my mental and emotional issues. It sounds stupid to people when I say that what helped me get over my father's death are watercolors, but it's true. Then there's a lot of pressure for artists to become masters in their field in order for their art to be seen as "legitimate" so a lot of us start treating our art less like something we are passionate about and more like a skill. My advise is isolate yourself in a room and sing, dance, draw, paint your heart out. The end result doesn't matter. Just remind yourself what made you love art in the first place.

I'm Hispanic but this choir talk to my soul... And understand everything.
Translate please
@@elisanaufel Español: Soy hispano y aunque no entendí las voces...mi alma y mi corazón las entendieron.
I knew people would ask for the translation when you said you understood everything 😬😁
This is one of the most amazing sounds I've ever heard, ever.
Ευχαριστώ πολύ. Τέλεια. Με αγάπη από την Κρήτη
A touch of history, this is deep, this is immortal, this is brilliant way of saying: - look how old I am in time, but so young in your ears.
2022, 3.4 million views, I watched this so many times, every time another feeling, but always impressed by this, so beautiful...
Greetings from Northern Germany
I have large working vocabulary and I cannot find the words to articulate how beautiful this music is to me. My profoundest thanks for sharing this.
Vasilikí is filled with so much passion here... It's beautiful when you see people doing what they love to do.
What Wonder Woman hears in her head during battles.
Fav comment by far! Thank you for the meta
Yes, we are! ;)
Indeed
best comment! lol
Have you seen this song of theirs? I can see a lower and hoarser pitched voice singing it alone over Wonder Woman's theme. And it's sung in the language the Amazons may have used ruclips.net/video/MGssQReM-Sk/видео.htmlsi=KujBgSRS9d1yGNlo
Greek is one of the most beautiful languages in the world💜😍
It is 🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷

STUNNING!!!! Your voices are SO beautiful together. 🥰
The way she directs them. Magical!
Girls were right on point to make it sound so clean and crisp all with the help of their director who inspires with love. Loved it!
Omg I'm German but really didn't known that Greek sounds so beautiful... this song is just awesome
@Bernd Mensing ?
Greek language itself sounds (for me sure) like a music...
Greek songs are beautiful!
And voices in choir above are awesome, also girls are beautiful :)
They are from Cyprus my friend. The best choir this island has produced
@Bernd Mensing you put it right! Almost all nations should be proud of their heritage but the Greeks (I should say rather the Hellens) are unique
@@Zeibekkikina AND CYPRUS IS NOT GREEK ?
Im torn between the beauty and the fact theyre singing loudly in library. I think the beauty wins.
😂😂😂😂Same
What do you mean, signing?
@@helpmetosleep typo. Singing**
Don't be a slave to rules. The beauty wins naturally!
Weirdly enough, older or open libraries have good acoustics
I never understand people who put thumbs down to smth like this
It's beautiful 😍❤
La beauté et la force. L'ensemble est magnifique. Bravo.
Loved the thunderstorm in the beginning and the beautiful song, especially after learning the meaning.

Dinledikçe rahatlıyorum elinize ağzınıza sağlık 🤗🤗
From Canada with deep admiration and appreciation.
I love the fact that all of their clothes go well together, a beautiful harmony for the eye too !
Such a beautiful performance ! The choir director more beautiful than any Hollywood actress !
You girls MUST sing in future "The Silmarillion" movie.
Your voices are like the Music of the Ainur, of which the world was made, in Tolkien's cosmogony.
Love from Poland.
I was so touchedby this comment...
Omg i like how you thought of this. I wish the silmarillion movie could happen!!
Best comment I've ever read in RUclips. As a Greek who loves Tolkien deeply, thank you. ❤️
Dobrze to ująłeś...
These are WOMEN.
