Oh my G! they had this idea even two years back, amazing, now that Silent Hill 2 Remake is extremely welcomed. I hope the film in production will justify the work Bloober Team has done to James, Mary, Maria and all other characters, including the mystery and audio background, effects and soundtracks.

The movie looks really cheap, like a shoetring fan film. At least the first film had a high enough budget (50M) to look cinematic. This and Revelations look like they're operating on less than half of that. And once again, Gans misunderstands the assignment and makes SH into some general purgatory filled with characters instead of the lonely personal Hell that it's supposed to be. Very little faith in this after watching the trailer, which it now seems like they're trying to hide.

I really don’t understand the point of remaking the game as a movie but having the proper game remake come out just before. Why watch the shitty movie when I can just play the game.

Why are they focusing so much on Silent Hill 2? It wasn't connected with 1 at all like 3 was. The enemies are limited to 3 different monsters, even the 1st one had more variety. Story is a confusing and boring. So are the bosses.
