Pyramid Heads purpose is to kill Maria and remind James of his guilt and regret about killing Mary.

the way viva draws james going insane with a maniac laugh is EXACTLY what i wish we see in the games just full out bursts of insanity to show really how bad it affects him.
The quality of this animation is absolutely incredible. The framing, lighting, and general mood are top notch. Something that I especially like is the weird distortion on the Lying Figures, Nurses and Mary. Really adds to the weird ethereal aesthetic that I love so much about Silent Hill. 10/10, will rewatch again... for the 7th time (I think)
