As an Angels fan, this makes me sick. My fear is not one, but both of them leave. It's not a "Tungsten Arm" game, but if you want a crazy Angels game to do a video about, you have to look at 6/23/2021 against the Giants. Just a few highlights from among the befuddling array of weirdness in that one: - It was the first (and now only) game in the single-league-DH era where an NL team used a DH while an AL team did not. - Because of this, the Angels ran out of position players, and had to bring in an outfielder to catch after Kurt Suzuki was injured by a foul ball, and bring in a pitcher to play left field. - The Angels thought they'd walked it off in the 12th inning (complete with celebratory fireworks, "Angels Win!" on the big board, announcements of a final score), but the "safe" call at the plate was overturned on review. - After scoring 2 runs combined in the first 12 innings, the Giants rallied for 7 runs in the 13th - the first two of which scored without a hit or an error. The rally concluded with Mike Tauchman getting within one strike of becoming the first Giant ever to strike out 6 times in a game...before launching a 3-run home run on the next pitch. The Giants went on to win 9-3.
I feel like this is type of video you make in the off season, because last night Ohtani hit a home run, the only run scored by the angles 📐 in a 8-1 loss 😭
It's almost like when you pay two players 1/3rd of your entire club's revenue, there's no way you can field a well rounded team. If Ohtani goes somewhere else, it will be the exact same problem because he's going to get $50 schmill no question and be a similar cash sink to Trout, Harper, etc. Barring him going to the Yankees (0% chance, they're top of the majors and have a rock solid team chemistry already) or Red Sox (possible, but still very unlikely, I don't think they'll be making any blockbuster moves after this season), there's not many markets big enough to have the ability to blow a huge chunk of their payroll on one player and still field a contending team.
@@keizenameriks851 not Ohtani, Trout and Rendon. I meant Ohtani is going to get bank from someone when his contract is up and will be a similar payroll burden.

Well. That's one way to avoid the ultra-rare "diamond sombrero." XD
Bruh yesterday Trout and Ohtani both hat 3 hits with a homer and got walked off by the orioles 💀💀
Petition to start calling ohtani "tungsten arm" o Doyle
I feel like this is type of video you make in the off season, because last night Ohtani hit a home run, the only run scored by the angles 📐 in a 8-1 loss 😭
You can hear FB's anger cracking through his teeth...
You call it a Tungsten Arm O'Doyle moment.
But twitter didn't really exist in the 1990's, so we just call it "being the Seattle Mariners."
Bruh he’s getting paid 5 mil this year
He’s still on a rookie contract
@@keizenameriks851 thats 4mil too much for ohtani
@@keizenameriks851 not Ohtani, Trout and Rendon. I meant Ohtani is going to get bank from someone when his contract is up and will be a similar payroll burden.
