Scott Servais really is the type of guy to get mentioned 5+ times in a video that isn't even about him, then get promptly forgotten about by the video's creator a week later
They are friends, so it was Bailey jokingly feeling bad for forgetting him :) well, "friends", AKA Trevor is a big fan of Bailey's and has been dying to collaborate with Bailey on some content for his Jomboy Media show for a year or two now, but Bailey has been jokingly playing hard to get. It's a wild romance
Wow it’s been over 4 years…I remember being freshly moved into college my freshman year and my roommate and I were watching RUclips and I see this video by a guy named Foolish Baseball and thinking “huh never heard of this guy, video looks interesting though” and I’ve been here ever since
Classic baseball sporcle strategy: "Gonzalez Martinez Fernandez Rodriguez" almost always gets you at least a handful of answers if the list is as long as here 😅
You typed in Hal Smith, but for some reason it looks like it wanted Hal Smith (1). Also, Brooks Robinson was on there, but it took when you typed Robinson and Jackie Robinson came up as well, so you didn't see it.
Under a 15-minute timer I got 80/186 for 43%, with my least-chosen guess being Charlie Sweeney (because Old Hoss Radbourn was on his team). Worst miss was Greg Maddux.
Always love the sporcle vids! Btw, as an avid sporcler, you can use control + backspace to delete an entire word. It's not that useful in daily life but it's a godsend for wrong Sporcle guesses
You technically had 145 because you did type in Hal Smith but the answer was recorded as Hal Smith (1). Also you would have had Reggie Jackson if you had just typed "Jackson" for Shoeless Joe.
Personally, I think that if you *say* the full name out loud and only *type* the last name it would be perfectly understandable. I suppose that might confuse your typing, but I thought I'd throw out the suggestion.
For the future please just type last names. It makes it go way faster and we know who you're talking about because you say who you're guessing every time. It also would have given you more people for names like Smith, Jackson, and Gonzalez
Honestly when he said Cano and said CaNo, I thought he was going to do that with Sano too... then again it shows how bad my humor is that I made the Sano joke when he said Miguel Sano.
Only got 51. Spelling got me on a couple. Don't know how much time I wasted trying to figure out how to spell that White Sox pitcher who sped ran games who I'll just call Mark Burly here because I still can't wrap my head around the spelling. Also, Old Hoss. Didn't know there was a u in Radbourn. So there went about a third of my time frantically tying the same thing over and over again expecting it to know who I meant.
Pujols, Ohtani, and Trout in the top 4? Bailey is a secret Angels fan, confirmed. Even the second most mentioned player, Barry Bonds, lost the World Series to the Angels.
It was very wierd of Tommy John’s parents to name him after a surgery.
Even weirder Hank Aaron named after an MVP award. strange indeed.
It was weird of Cy Youngs parents to name him after a pitching award
Even worse, they named Lou Gehrig after a disease
yeah, and greg maddux; parents named him greg
@@thumbwhale bruh lol
Huge shout out to Bailey for editing his 97 minutes of gameplay into just 44 minutes of video
the greatest
Kind of funny how he made a video about how the voters didn't forget about Felix and then he forgot about King Felix.

"Oh no! Not Trevor Plouffe!" really got me and I don't know why
They are friends, so it was Bailey jokingly feeling bad for forgetting him :)

Ultimate girl boss move by Bailey to take a quiz over his own content
A great addition to his ranking every baseball bits video on a tier list
A-Rod would be proud

Erik Gonzalez was definitely gotten from people just typing last names looking for Luis Gonzalez
The man on deck
Carlos gonzalez too from the lincecum/tulo video possibly

Thought it was funny that the quiz creator took the time to make “big sexy” return bartolo colon
I made this quiz, glad you liked it!
I’m so disappointed I didn’t get Substantial Seductive himself when I took it… I need that Bob Wickman calendar I guess
Pedro Martinez is fifth, "Good for him" Bailey says. Yep just another thing for Mr. Martinez to hang his hat on.
I feel like the quiz must be based off actual mentions since if any type of appearance counts I'm pretty sure Bartolo Colon would be at, like, 50.
Creator here, spoken mentions of any variety count (Colon, Big Sexy, Large Attractive...), but not graphics or written words
you mean Humongous Sumptuous
@@defeatstatistics7413 obviously
I can't believe he forgot Titanic Tantalising
same with Bob Wickman too
The best thing about this quiz is that it counts nicknames as correct answers. Big Sexy gives you Bartolo Colon for example
3 of the top 4 guys were Angels teammates on sub .500 teams
How did Felix only get named 46% of the time despite having an entire video aswell as being a staple of the Foolish brand
I mean even Bailey didn't get him 😅
101/186. I’ll take it but I forgot Jeff Mathis so it’s a mixed bag
10 minutes in and I’m screaming “HAROLD BAINES!!!!”
I was thinking Giancarlo and Reggie Jackson from the strikeout king video
@@sebastiansanchez375 Also got Koufax and Bob Gibson as soon as he started talking about historic pitchers. Gotta be hard in the spotlight though.
Much more impressive than hitting close to 700 homeruns is being mentioned in baseball bits more than anyone else.
a lot of people got erik gonzalez because typing only the last name counts all the players with that last name at the same time
I do think a Minnie Minoso video would be fantastic. He was a great player, a trailblazer, and "played" across 5 decades!
Would love to see a Baseball Bits on game 162 in Tampa. As a TB fan we don’t have much history but that’s a great memory
the only reason i got bartolo colon is this iconic quote, “WHO PUT THIS PICTURE OF BARTOLO COLON IN MY BOB WICKMAN CALENDAR?!”
I'm disappointed to find out that Sport McAllister wasn't mentioned at least 5 times just in that Spiders episode
Very interesting video. I would love to see a quiz like with Jon bois videos
1 is probably Stieb but if you don’t include him because he literally has his own Doc it’s probably Junior
Rickey Henderson has an outside shout I think, has a short dorktown, a section in the stieb video and lots of incidental mentions
Most interesting to me is jason heyward. 5 mentions (the minimum) in 5 different episodes.
Turns out Ty Cobb was actually Alex Rodriguez all along.
Moral of this video is ken Griffey junior needs a baseball bits video
You typed in Hal Smith, but for some reason it looks like it wanted Hal Smith (1). Also, Brooks Robinson was on there, but it took when you typed Robinson and Jackie Robinson came up as well, so you didn't see it.
A Ted Williams vid would be awesome!
You didn't start with your friend Lucas Giolito?!?
was screaming about the strikeout video the entire time. one of my favorites
"...plus a lot of love on Foolish Bailey; Girlboss."
I feel complete.
The whispered “Felix, I’m sorry” is so fucking good
Hey look, it’s a minute of video for every percent I got on the quiz when I took it!
Now time to watch every Baseball Bits again to improve my score
that was an awesome quiz! I think you would have gotten every name if you had a list of the episodes
Should have made this a baseball bits to immediately invalidate the quiz
I can’t believe I watched this entire video
Under a 15-minute timer I got 80/186 for 43%, with my least-chosen guess being Charlie Sweeney (because Old Hoss Radbourn was on his team). Worst miss was Greg Maddux.
Thanks for all the work I have been watching baseball bits for the last 3 years
This not the first time I've been screwed over by forgetting how to spell the name of Seattle's manager correctly
Its time for a Gehrig video. This was an interesting look into your evaluations and mentions.
True. After that I would like an Aaron video though.
"No 5 mentions for Curt Schilling, left wing media bias confirmed"😂

Glad to see pete lacock get his dues as the most mentioned

The world needs a Baseball Bits episode dedicated to Manny Ramirez!
114/186 and the top player i missed was Ryan Braun. not too shabby!
Seeing David Ortiz not being mentioned over halfway in was so saddening after he named more than 3 Red Sox
It’s impressive how good at spelling he is
Glad old Custardsauce Stevenson was able to clinch a top 10 spot. Good for him.
You technically had 145 because you did type in Hal Smith but the answer was recorded as Hal Smith (1). Also you would have had Reggie Jackson if you had just typed "Jackson" for Shoeless Joe.
he would've had more if he just typed in the last names for example Gonzalez
got 101/197. kinda disappointed i didnt get 2 of the more mentioned players Cy Young and Jeff Mathis
I have no clue why but as a Pirates fan I was hoping for Rod Barajas to come up for most of this video
This guys look fits his voice so well, almost like Pixar movie or something
Just spent the last 44 minutes screaming “ROD BARAJAS” at my phone
:screaming "Barry Bonds!!" at my screen for 2 and a half minutes:
Personally, I think that if you *say* the full name out loud and only *type* the last name it would be perfectly understandable. I suppose that might confuse your typing, but I thought I'd throw out the suggestion.
now we need the quiz on how many times he says the players name while doing the quiz
Now you have make a baseball bits where you have to say a random players name 100 times
Fun fact, the quiz does in fact count "big sexy" for Bartolo colon
was yelling rod barajas and pedro martinez the whole time
For the future please just type last names. It makes it go way faster and we know who you're talking about because you say who you're guessing every time. It also would have given you more people for names like Smith, Jackson, and Gonzalez

daniel mccutchen was a pitcher for pirates not catcher the catcher would’ve been michael mckenry
I love you, Bailey.
I'll admit I skipped to the end to see if he got Lucas Giolito.
Did it on timer mode and only got 90/186. Not even halfway, I'm so ashamed of myself.
THIS IS FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!!!
I’m shocked you haven’t mentioned Chipper Jones 5 times

Are you going to do a baseball bits after this season about Aaron judge’s year?
Took awhile to get to Bartolo
I know I'm 9 months late, but does anyone know why Hal Smith is listed as "Hal Smith (1)"?
Was waiting for lucas gilito
I got a sick rating of 38% with the timer on lol
I got only 48%...but I did get Eric Gagne!
this is so cool
I got 98/186 for 53%. Biggest misses were Jackie Robinson and Bobby Wallace. I got Yoan Moncada and Marcus Semien though.
Got to 80 in 17 minutes. Least guessed was Kim Soo Shoo, and Mel Ott
You still didn't get it right. Shin Soo Choo
Only 28% but in my defense I thought about Jeter but didn't have time to put "Jeter" on... pathetic but still more than avg. (23%)
