Dude, i tried this the first guess I had was Jorge Polanco and it gave me age range from 26- 30 and throws right. Thats it. And I guessed Kris Bryant and got it!!! Two tries!!
I got Greinke in one guess because I always use him first :) He’s my favourite player so I decided I’d always guess him first so I’d get him in one guess if he ever was the pick.
For today's, I went: Marco Gonzalez (got me US, 30 years old, and most likely a R/R), Aaron Judge (narrowed down to NL West, partial outfielder), then Kris Bryant. I had a similar thought process and initially thought of Chris Taylor, but I wasn't sure about the age. I was fortunate that when I guessed Judge, I thought "partial outfielder" and not just, "outfielder", because I wouldn't have thought of Bryant if my mind was on primary outfielders. This was pretty fun! I'm glad I was introduced to this.
I had the same thought of "start with someone obscure today" so I started with Max Schrock. Took me 7 guesses to get to KB as well, but I guessed Cron and McMahon before KB. I also guessed a Dodger, and then a Giant before making it to the Rox.
I was screaming Kris Bryant at my screen for the last one after you guessed Grichuk. Didn’t play it before you but probably would’ve gotten it in 1 anyway because he’s almost always my starter
This man insists he did bad on the last one, but I don't even know my own team's roster top to bottom, much less practically every team in the league like he seems to. Mad props, made this look so much easier than it really is
Jacob deGrom is the best opening guess because he bats L and throws R, so you can nail down the handedness and whether or not he’s starting pitcher on the first guess.
This was awesome. I had the right player in my head as soon as your first answer came out wrong for Sunday, so to see you cycle through all the rockies outfielders was hilarious.
Would love to have more of these throughout the season! I did exactly that, paused Sunday night to play and compare how I did. I felt so dumb for not guessing this guy sooner!
Stopped the video 1 minute in to try this out. Got it in 3, although there were some really good hints. Can't wait to add this to my daily lineup after I do the wordle of the day. Went Matt Olson, then Chris Taylor (great minds think alike), and then went Bryant after I saw 1st base and CF were both yellow and it was an NL West player.
I had the EXACT same reaction on the Sunday player. I also went Chris Taylor-Austin Slater LOL Also, I'd love to see this be a recurring series if you have fun with it!!
Make it a daily series, guaranteed to get picked up by the algorithm. Jomboy and Co. play Wordle almost daily and make content out of it. Maybe collab with him on a Wardle session? Idk but secure the bag king
Funnily enough, Giolito is also my regular first guess because I like knocking out righties, Americans, and SP, as well as being in probably the most common age range. We share a kinship.
I love the idea of this as a series! One idea I had: In wordle, theres often strategies for the best starting word or starting words, and there's some basic math and programming involved. Could you use some of that math and derive the best starting player or starting 2 players that give you the most information? Could definitely see this being a collab with a math/science/coding RUclipsr because baseball strikes me as a sport that you could program out all of the data in WARdle with python or something.
I think someone split L/R bats throws would be best, if they're a corner outfielder that would be best since that seems to be the go-to position to just throw somebody to make room, and since outfielders are more likely to move around you get a higher chance of a yellow in position
I got every single guess in one. I don’t need those fancy advanced stats like age and position. If you really know ball, you can guess in 1 based on feel
I enjoyed this. I hadn't played it before so it was a good introduction to how it works. I hope you bring back the Baseball Reference with a player interview thing. That was really fun if you have any other player that you could do that with.
Your last Wardle, the only one that tripped you up, was the FIRST Wardle I ever guessed .without running out of guesses. Watch for me in your rearview, Bailey :)
I went to do the WARdle and decided to use the same opener as you, Lucas Giolito, just to make sure we start on equal footing. I get back to the video and lo and behold you didn't use Giolito. Bruh.
As someone who's getting back into baseball after a 5-year hiatus, I'm proud to have gotten the last once in 3. I did not guess Connor Joe cuz I don't even know who he is!
It's kind of funny that getting a yellow in the division is actually worse than getting a blank. Yellow narrows it down to 3 divisions while blank narrows it down to 2
position eligibility isnt a thing for the player you’re guessing bailey! i had the same issue but jeremy thankfully explained that it only turns yellow if the mystery player has played 10 games at the position. for example: i missed the keston hiura one bc i guessed austin riley, and ruled out first base bc it was gray
I wasn't going to play along because I don't know too much about baseball but I actually got super lucky and got it in 4 haha. My path was Lucas Giolito Mookie Betts Brandon Belt Kris Bryant Thanks for encouraging me to play and fun video man, keep it up.
Funny enough Giolito is my favorite player so he has been my go-to first guess. Today I did Giolito -> Alec Bohm -> Justin Turner -> Kris Bryant. Guessing a 3rd baseman on my 2nd try made it a lot easier, but after that it was a crapshoot between turner, longo, and bryant
Surprisingly I got the Sunday WARdle in five, and that was even after messing up my divisions. You know what it is, you didn't start out with Lucas Giolito. It's his revenge. XP
I did the Sunday one before getting to it in the video and I also guessed Chris Taylor second. I got Bryant on the third try. It was tough to watch you completely blank on it lol.
There’s nothing like a good old round of winsabovereplacementdle.
it just rolls off the tongue
My favorite
Same dude I’m so addicted to it I can’t stop playing
@@FoolishBailey SIR, YOU KNOW BALL
now its been updated to Pickle. kind miss winsabovereplacementdle
"Weekly series! Weekly series!" the crowd chants
that's right
Thanks for the great game, Jeremy!
Waiting for Wariodle, the word game exclusively about Mario's enemies
Unironically not a bad idea
I would play this daily
This game is fun, but I never cease to guess a player from every other team in the division before I land on the right team.
Same.
I reached Manny Machado on the last guees before the correct answer was his teammates. Fish
Find yourself someone who thinks about you as much as Bailey thinks about Lucas Giolito
I was really hoping you’d do a WARdle play through. When I found out about this game, I immediately thought “Foolish Bailey would love this.”
I've been using Giolito as my opener for a while now and he's done wonders for me, I actually had the same Luzardo/Urias dilemma on Saturday lol
Same bro. I just happened to open with giloito that day and instantly cut it to those two
Do you think he’s still the best opening player now that he’s turned 28?
@@generallukeproductions Nope, I'm using Shane Bieber now
@@betodrift1996, ok thanks
This was a cool idea… maybe a Weekly Wardle could start being a thing 😂
This was truly made for you, it’s always fun watching someone be really really really good at something.
Dude, i tried this the first guess I had was Jorge Polanco and it gave me age range from 26- 30 and throws right. Thats it. And I guessed Kris Bryant and got it!!!
Two tries!!
I guessed like 4 lefties before finding a righty
he's so happy with himself lol this goober
never change
This was a lot of fun Bailey, the best part of every new season is remembering Connor Joe exists
CoJo is life
I got Greinke in one guess because I always use him first :)
He’s my favourite player so I decided I’d always guess him first so I’d get him in one guess if he ever was the pick.

This was pretty fun! I'm glad I was introduced to this.
It’s ironic because “Wordle” is a play on the name of the original creator of the game, Josh Wardle.
You should post each day’s WARDLE as a RUclips Short on this channel!
This is cool, that Luzardo guess was impressive. I also guessed Bryant after Grichuk that was tough
I play it everyday I am happy someone is playing it on yt
LOL since Bryant was my favorite player for the Cubs way back when I guess him first and nailed it immediately haha.
Did you just say "way back when" when referring to 30-year-old Kris Bryant? lol
@@kleshreen yeah it just feels like forever.
I had the same thought of "start with someone obscure today" so I started with Max Schrock. Took me 7 guesses to get to KB as well, but I guessed Cron and McMahon before KB. I also guessed a Dodger, and then a Giant before making it to the Rox.

Living the video so far, do you think you'll be doing it more than just this once? I'd love to see a weekly wardle series on FoolishBailey
Gonna see how the video does, but I'll definitely do it again if if performs well.
got the last one in 4, was very surprised, great video again bailey hope to see these again
loved the vid so far, if you wanted another way to pick starting players you could use the previous day's answer as the starter
Saying players are “bats right” or “throws left” reminds me of Nicholas Braun in the commercials: “It’s a don’t eats”
Would love to have more of these throughout the season! I did exactly that, paused Sunday night to play and compare how I did. I felt so dumb for not guessing this guy sooner!
I always use Joan Comargo as a starter because he plays many positions, throws right, and hits switch
Dude I was right there with you on the last one. If you play this game a lot, you tend to lean more obscure and miss the obvious ones.
When Bailey is absolutely killing it in WARdle and then you beat him on the most recent day. I got it in 5. Feels good
Who would have thought that watching someone play Wardle would be this much fun?
Stopped the video 1 minute in to try this out. Got it in 3, although there were some really good hints. Can't wait to add this to my daily lineup after I do the wordle of the day.
Went Matt Olson, then Chris Taylor (great minds think alike), and then went Bryant after I saw 1st base and CF were both yellow and it was an NL West player.
Got Bryant in 2 guesses, helps to start with Joe Musgrove
I had the EXACT same reaction on the Sunday player. I also went Chris Taylor-Austin Slater LOL
Also, I'd love to see this be a recurring series if you have fun with it!!
I got Kris Bryant in 8 guesses...but my previous 7 guesses were all Carlos Santana, so it was actually pretty impressive!
The GOAT of smashing TVs
Idc until you make a tier list tier list of mascots who are the most maga and would win in a fight
Make it a daily series, guaranteed to get picked up by the algorithm. Jomboy and Co. play Wordle almost daily and make content out of it. Maybe collab with him on a Wardle session? Idk but secure the bag king
would love this as a series
Your stuff just gets better and better. Don't ever stop.
I got it in 2 on Sunday only out of pure luck. Love KB and just said screw it he’s one of my favorite players send it
Funnily enough, Giolito is also my regular first guess because I like knocking out righties, Americans, and SP, as well as being in probably the most common age range. We share a kinship.
The Wordle clones never cease. I don't know baseball players too well, so I play the NFL version, Weddle. Somehow got yesterday's in 2 guesses, so 👌
I love the idea of this as a series!

Getting Bryant on 2 guesses (after Shane Bieber being the first guess) is my flex of the week. Also you're way better than me at this 😂
I got today's Wardle on my second try, I was very surprised. Also I like this type of video
"Jesus Lizard" has got to be one of the greatest MLB nicknames there is.
Weekly Wardle would be sick Bailey!
Boy that Luzardo guess was great, I was so positive about Urías
Do this again please, love seeing your thought process behind each guess
I got every single guess in one. I don’t need those fancy advanced stats like age and position. If you really know ball, you can guess in 1 based on feel

Love this video, love playing the game daily. I bounced around every OF position once I got division right today and ended in 5
ngl Foolish Bailey looks exactly how you'd expect of a guy who crunches MLB numbers for a living
Haha I got Ha-Seong Kim in 3 today, always easy when it’s someone from your team
After you suggested we pause the video and try today's (Sunday) waddle, I gave it a shot and got it right on my fourth guess.
weekly videos of this, yes please
The holy trinity:
god
the academy
the miami marlins
Your last Wardle, the only one that tripped you up, was the FIRST Wardle I ever guessed .without running out of guesses. Watch for me in your rearview, Bailey :)
Thank you Bailey I needed this today. Would love more!
Did the exact same thing with Grichuk for the Rockies today! Still forgetting where players are after the offseason
Glad to have discovered this! Got today's in 3!
Staying up past 1am every day feels crazy
I hope you make this a weekly upload! Also tony Kemp was the only one I didn't get for this week
Cronenworth
Rodgers
Cron
Joe
Mystery player
I would thoroughly enjoy more wardle videos
I went to do the WARdle and decided to use the same opener as you, Lucas Giolito, just to make sure we start on equal footing.
I get back to the video and lo and behold you didn't use Giolito. Bruh.
I also got stuck on the OF thing for the Bryant game. I went George Springer, Chris Taylor, Randal Grichuk, Kris Bryant.
As someone who's getting back into baseball after a 5-year hiatus, I'm proud to have gotten the last once in 3. I did not guess Connor Joe cuz I don't even know who he is!
It's kind of funny that getting a yellow in the division is actually worse than getting a blank. Yellow narrows it down to 3 divisions while blank narrows it down to 2
I can say I beat you for this Sunday's one.
Went Trout -> Muncy -> Bryant. No idea how I did that though.
This was great, I got today's in three because I took a more simple-minded approach
position eligibility isnt a thing for the player you’re guessing bailey! i had the same issue but jeremy thankfully explained that it only turns yellow if the mystery player has played 10 games at the position. for example: i missed the keston hiura one bc i guessed austin riley, and ruled out first base bc it was gray
I also guessed Connor Joe, if that makes you feel any better.
I wasn't going to play along because I don't know too much about baseball but I actually got super lucky and got it in 4 haha. My path was
Lucas Giolito
Mookie Betts
Brandon Belt
Kris Bryant
Thanks for encouraging me to play and fun video man, keep it up.
i find the best and most fitting first guess to be Taylor Ward. R/R, USA, 28, RF
Your player knowledge is crazy!
Yeah i play this game everyday. Love it.

Got Sunday's in 4. Britton-Buehler-Machado-Bryant
I’m so glad that I wasn’t the only one who absolutely forgot about KB
I was screaming Bryant the whole time after your first guess on the sunday wordle
Ok but why just 1 per day. This addiction must be fed.
I would love it if you made this a weekly thing
What were you doing on God's fine Easter Sunday with that incognito tab??? (24:05) You ain't slick Bailey...
Please do this weekly. Fun to be able to measure up against foolish
Surprisingly I got the Sunday WARdle in five, and that was even after messing up my divisions. You know what it is, you didn't start out with Lucas Giolito. It's his revenge. XP
WARdle taught me I don’t know anyone’s age except Juan Soto.
I liked this, should do it again next week.
I did the Sunday one before getting to it in the video and I also guessed Chris Taylor second. I got Bryant on the third try. It was tough to watch you completely blank on it lol.
I got today's in 4, I'm a casual baseball guy right now so I definitely credit baseball twitter for 90% of what I know
Is Lucas Giolito still the best starting player now that he’s turned 28?
I got today's in 2.... I was hoping for some competition out of you :(
100% make this a weekly episode
Please do more that was a ton of fun!!!!
Got Bryant in two and about 30 seconds because I was watching the Rockies game and my first guess was CJ Cron
God, the academy, and the marlins. My favorite holy trinity
Please make that a weekly series!
love these started a new addiction
Since it was Easter, they should have chose one of the Holy Trinity of current Marlins players named Jesus. Aguilar, Luzardo, Sanchez.
