    I couldn’t see exactly what you did for the LEDs other than undoing the screws. All of my screws are undone but it still sticks to the sides where the LEDs are located.

      After the screws are removed the small PCBs with the LED comes out (unless it's held down by the tape). There is a translucent tube connected to each LED but it's not a permanent connection

    Alienware didn't make it easy to make such a minor fix.

      Yeah, that's a complete tear down for just a fan replacement

      A link to the same exact set of fans is in the video description. Make sure it's compatible with your laptop (this is an Alienware 17 R4)

    I wonder where the heat concentrates the most

      The major heat generators are the CPU and GPU, but a few chips always get hot so there are also in contact with the heat-sink. It isn't that bad

    This thing with all its driver updates is a piece of junk I wish I built my own computer as well as built my own motherboard
