“This is a song where the music and the lyrics are a perfect match,” explains guitar player Jon Nunez in the accompanying article. “It’s as if they were meant to go together. What I was going through at the time really came through in the song, and the music I gave Steve definitely brought out some rather painful emotions for him [regarding] losing loved ones and the process you go through after. You could even hear a quiver in Steve’s voice, and it was like, ‘Wow, this is something we haven’t done before.’ Steve tends to be really secretive with his lyrics. He needed a little bit of a push, but I think deep down inside he wanted to get this off his chest.”

Probably my favorite song on the album. I’d love to hear and see torche explore this more.

I know it's a strange remark, but I find quite admirable they wrote a song in F# minor, when their guitars are tuned in A standard.
It's… just not the sort of key I would expect, regarding the guitar tuning they are using. And it sounds bloody great, like a bright, joyous, sonic explosion, with darker lyrics.

Agreed. I actually just think its the overhead mics for the cymbals. Waaay too much compression on them. I wonder if its just YT, cause the rest of the mix sounds fine.

Love the song,but I'll never forgive the cover artist for "Restarter" for ripping off/copying that penis wheeled robot design I came up with which my original BETTER version is in an animated indie film I did featuring some no label released tracks from these sirs,that new guy ended up flagging it down and tagging his bandcamp on the upload to get a couple dollars yet they never shared it or credit me or asked me to draw a flyer/poster/shirt/etc even though i've been actively going to shows since a teen and wearing band shirts when i performed stand up at Improv comedy clubs n more..........they fucked over the scene,their side grindcore project "ShitStorm" refused to play shows with label mates "Maruta" (my brother is the vocalist) for the obvious fact that they didn't want to share that fame and lose their "fans" to a more forward thinking extreme grind band.... they hijacked the scene in Miami and outed a lot of hetro people.... counter scene ..this new guy is in Wrong and wears a "no friends" shirt in a music video...that only goes to show who he is,I regret showing him support and inviting friends to shows,and feeding his ego,his other band "Capsule" would've been a bigger deal if I was the vocalist,but that never happened so they never got the attention they almost got... too much drama,the scene is corrupted .....
