If you discover this today, there's absolutely no way you can tell it's a song from 1977. Just shows how ahead of time it was.
They did Motörhead but a bit more melodic like a year after Motörhead realeased their first recordings. Also it sounds a bit like what Helloween did 1985, but 1977. Amazing and before their time indeed.

Wow, it took me years to realize that Masayoshi Yamashita from Loudness is taking part with his bass here. This is fucking awesome! RIOT and RIOT V as well are highly respected in Japan. This is soo cool, classic RIOT song with a awesome guest appearance of Yamashita who is playing in one of my other all time favorite bands. RIOT, RIOT V and Loudness are one of a kind bands and do belong to the coolest bands making incredible music since day one and they will shine forever!!! 😀
No matter if Todd wins the Voice or not, he just gave his band and himself a ton of high quality great exposure. Indeed, I am here because of the Voice and now I'm a BIG Todd and Riot V fan.
This band was killer back in the late 70s and early 80s. This new version is unbelievable. I'll be buying their music.

Riot/Riot V is one of the few metal bands I care about, actually they're my second favorite metal band, first being the mighty Judas Priest. The live record is a must buy for me, can't wait until August

Riot and the newer Riot V are killer. The original Riot with albums like Narita and Rock City were my favorites back in 70s and early 80s. Riot V is just as great! Killer musicianship and off the chain vocals. Buy their music! You won't be disappointed. Riot keeps REAL ROCK ALIVE!

I think Todd is a little too high on the chorus here. Speranza version is just deadly. Todd is a great singer and does the classic RIOT songs serious justice. All the TIORs running around was too cool.

One of my favorite bands of all time! Mark was such an awesome guitar player and cool guy!!!! Fire down under album holds a special place in my heart! I started playing drums right after that! Then my sister took me to see Iron Maiden and the rest is history! Such an amazing live band!!!!!

We are still on Nuclear Blast and our new studio album will be released through them. This live album was produced by our Japanese record label, Ward. When they optioned it for distribution to the USA and Europe, it was picked up by AFM.

I can understand your confusion, but I am singing the harmony and not the lead, because the harmony is kind of hard for the guitar player to sing. Guy Speranza did not always do it that way, but in their seminal live at Donington album he did. Check out this clip at the 4:00 mark.

No disrespect intended to those who follow this band, but wtf is going on with the guys with chicken nuggets on their heads? It's weird. Only found this because dude's Voice audition came up on my suggested videos. Nothing says metal like auditioning for the Voice. Seriously, the guy is phenomenal, so why the reality show audition? They will probably make him sing some lame pop/rock songs.
Those are supposed to be seal-faced guys, which are a representation of Johnny, the mascot of this band. You should dig more about Riot, its history is amazing: a band that has god-tier level albums, but never got the recognition it deserved and its creator (Mark Reale) never gave up!
The band has had a lot of lineup changes, but we fans divide each period per singer, you have Guy Esperanza, Rhett Forrester, Tony Moore, Mike DiMeo and Todd Michael Hall.

Um this whole blu ray is top notch and professional.....if you dont like it go elsewhere ......so what if its not the original guys....reale and flyntz were very close for a long time and hes continuing in his name grow up
