The F-18 is one of my all-time favorites. The FMS 70mm is still the best 70
This plane is awesome! Even without any sort of stabilization gyro, she flies like she’s on rails!
@JonsRC The new FMS F-16 70 mm is awesome. I have the freewing and it is still fast.
@JonsRC The F18 and the F16 air frames are the best models to fly. In my opinion, Oh yeah the Freewing F-22 90mm 😻

Great flights on the jet Jon. You look like you have been flying that jet for years. It sounds so much better than the V1. This jet was truly my favorite to fly from my collection. Love the low passes, especially with the ordinances on. Awesome maiden!

Very very cool Jon and awesome flying. I am loving on the jets too lately I just bought the A-10 thunderbolt v2 e-flight from horizon hobby got about eight batteries through it so far

The sound can really add or subtract from the realism of a scale flying model... like you noted this one sounds pretty good.
I have seen and heard an actual F-18 In flight during air shows. This RC model’s sound obviously doesn’t compare but it sure gives this model a lot of realism in flight!
With your experience in the flying hobby so far, would you be interested in making one the these videos on your channel:

That’s a great plane but how did you know the fuel tank affected the flight characteristics if this flight was the maiden? Were you guessing or did you fly it off camera first? Just curious. Maiden means it the first flight ever!
Hi! Yep! I know what a maiden is! I know this about the fuel tank because I also have an E-flite F-16 80mm that I did a maiden video on. I have flown it with and without the fuel tank and it definitely makes a difference!

What did you use for the engine?
Hi! This was a PNP so it came with the stock KV1900 inner-running motor.
So if I drop my spektrum 8channel telemetry receiver with my Avian esc I should in theory be able to program reverse thrust?
Pretty much! You need a Smart Avian ESC paired with a DX or NX transmitter. Spektrum RC does mention on their how-to video that you may need to update the ESC firmware if the ESC is too old.
