- Become profitable quickly with this beginner's tutorial for the production management sim Rise of Industry. We'll start with some farms and ranches, branch out to light industry and do some pollution control to keep our workers healthy.

Awesome tutorial, the in-game one didn't explain the distribution side of the game very well.
This is a great video. I love watching people playing these games, go pick them up and rarely get out of the tutorials. I suck at these games. I've been sitting on this one in my library for years and thought I'd boot it up and go through the tutorial again. Then I came straight to RUclips and this video was the first one I clicked on. The three scenarios were so well explained, after the first two I was predicting the steps for the third one and it was making sense. Thank you!

Great tutorial mate, very clear and well spoken. i'd ike to make a friendly suggestion though :p the transitions you use inbetween clips are a bit nausea inducing and they sometimes look like a video glitch when signal drops out which isnt good haha. Still thumbs up and subbed! :D

I just discovered this game today can already tell that on every play through I’m gonna have, I’m always going to hear you saying “Make sure it loops back around...” every time i build a warehouse hahah! Very clear tutorial and loved seeing all the different routes you could take!
Thanks Trevor! Please note however that the game got a *major* overhaul after this tutorial was made so some key mechanics are different now. I do intend on doing another up-to-date tutorial at some point.

Felt like playing a sim/lazy type game so I got this one today. Thanks for showing me the basics of what to do. I will be back later to watch more for sure.
Was a bit slack of the game charging you $1M in the first part of the game. Can we make churches and force them all to pay taxes and get those dumb people to pay for it all? ;-)
8:35 Why ship directly from the farm to the shops? That makes no sense to me. The trucks from the warehouse hold more pr truck. You're wasting money paying trucks to go the distance with less product.Not to mention you can select in the warehouse to only ship with full trucks.
I do it because the warehouse trucks get overwhelmed otherwise, if you have many farms and factories etc.

Where is river ridge?
There is no figuring this game out. I'm constantly finding myself asking WHY and HOW and I never have the answers. Some ppl not smart enuf for this SHIT
how did you make a new game on the same map?
I think the map has a seed you can use but I don't know how - ask on Steam the developer's very active on the Discussion boards.

But I think in this case I saved the map right at the start so I just loaded that old save.
Reaction to your first 11 minutes of play: I don't understand your direct distribution thinking here. Your trucks will be driving past the warehouse anyways...and the trucks from your livestock can only ship 1 pr truck, while the trucks in the warehouse can ship 2 at a time. You are spending way more money on having your trucks bypassing the warehouse.
You are also forgetting to set your trucks from the warehouse to only ship out when full.
Yeah I can figure out the strategy dude ... just tell me how to route shit...

0:08 What a lie, this game has the worst tutorial. 20 min to place 3 harvesters + connect them to lumberyard ... now i have to watch a tutorial to place a shop near my HQ. I placed first the dirt road and i thought that it's enough, but the game asked me to place the road, what game asks you to place 2x time a road.
Nice open shop ... i wanted to open a shop near my hq. :))))

shit graphics loose for me , i was around during space invaders , i will pay fro a sub graphical game ever again , best of luck with shit graphics
