Broadcast TV died when Epic UpCycling started putting out videos - it's way more satisfying to watch a master-craftsman build something from scraps than to watch a bunch of people act.
If only that were true and the majority of the people in the world enjoyed watching this instead of garbage reality tv, it would be a much better world.
I think what I like best is seeing all the stuff I've watched you make over the years in the background. The nightstands are awesome too. Love the snap at the end.
You have taken my idea to a different level. Like you, I'm cutting my scraps into "bricks" to build boards similar to what you just did. But, your idea for the corners, as well as the use of the frame to build around, is mind blowing. I'm definitely going to be building this way! Thank you. :) What did you use to seal the edges of the melamine?
I love hearing the cacophony of bird calls nearby while you perform your artistry,it’s the perfect background music besides hearing your tools work their magic!
Well I was going to go to bed, but when I saw you’d downloaded another video I had to watch it. I’m so glad I did. So now, in addition to artist, designer, craftsman, we can add innovator to your credits. Just brilliant. Thanks Jason.
At 14:28 as you were sanding down your latest and amazing creation, I was noticing the COOLEST things behind you and I watched you build them all. What a super clean and neat workshop you have!! I click the THUMBS UP before I even begin to watch any of your videos because it's a sure thing I will really like whatever you make! I really enjoyed this A LOT! Great idea! If I saw these somewhere I'd not hesitate to buy them both! Just AWESOME!
Epic UpCycling, indeed. While watching the assembly of the particle boards, I thought "What's he up to?" at first. Then it reminded me of what - trying hard not to spoil new viewers here - them folks at the furniture shop across the street use for some large-quantity projects. Very clever way to ensure matching measurements. As always, it's a true pleasure watching your videos. Well done, Jason. Cheers.
I KNEW you were gonna make two of 'em, I just KNEW it. And with a snap of the fingers.....TWO!! I laughed, and laughed. Thanks for the entertainment, Jason. You keep making 'em, and I'll keep watching 'em.
Your creativity is, as always inspiring. Once again I am in awe. Also, to see your workshop in the background and realise I have watched you create every one of them over the years. You could give guided tours and you would have queues of people wanting to see "the master craftsman" and your amazing creations. Yes, I am unashamedly addicted to your videos and hope to see many, many more.
Your talent and creativity are second to none! I love the look of your workshop, it has made a huge transformation over the years from all the projects that you have done! Thank you for posting these works of art and have a great day!
I love watching you work in your shop. You remind me so much of my grandfather, he was a builder also. And if I was quiet, I could sit and watch him, and I would watch him for hours. I wanted to thank you for helping me to remember a part of my childhood. It just brings me wonderful memories of my grandfather. I can’t wait to see what you’re going to make next and looking into your shop with all the different cabinets you made. It’s beautiful.
RUclips woodworking is obsessed with clamps. Love that you built these using only one, and then only to make it square. As always very inspirational, thanks for sharing
What a lovely little nightstand, would that it would be so easy and quick to snap your fingers and have it duplicated (but where's the fun in that?) Nice idea, will have to try it that way
It is always a great pleasure to watch you work. You have a skill that I have rarely seen in a carpenter. I am certain that your furniture, if well maintained, will outlast all of us. Ready for a few centuries?
Man for a minute there I thought you were going to be building those out of particle board! I was thinking: "Wow! This I have GOT to see!" This makes more sense though! A very good way to use up a bunch of scraps!
Eu sou inscrito em vários canais aqui no RUclips, mas o seu, sem sombra de dúvidas, é o melhor. Sempre fico ancioso a espera de um novo vídeo. Parabéns!!! Sua arte é nota 10. 🇧🇷
To answer your musings of whether or not this process was more work versus other methods, might I remind you of the pieces you have built where you meticulously shape HUNDREDS OF SMALL PIECES to glue together, stain, etc. Your patience is amazing and incredibly inspiring. Another fantastic piece. Thank you for sharing your process.
OMG I have just come across this one.... Again lost for words other than a pure artisan.... Absolutely love your work and attention to detail with such patience to boot,
Any job you do is a joy to behold, you know your getting something from nothing worth everything Sometimes i wish you was on here a lot more than you are But i know the work the time the editing means there's only so much you can do So i truly appreciate your time and effort very much and i impatiently wait for you next masterpiece Nice work Jason your a credit to the youtube community

What did you use to seal the edges of the melamine?
I sealed the edges with car body filler, then just used furniture wax on the surfaces.
Your videos make me smile!!!!❤❤❤
Yes, that's definitely a different way to construct furniture! And what a beautiful job you did! Quite unique! :)
Thanks very much :)
Another brilliant idea turned into a beautiful piece. Great work!

I KNEW you were gonna make two of 'em, I just KNEW it. And with a snap of the fingers.....TWO!! I laughed, and laughed. Thanks for the entertainment, Jason. You keep making 'em, and I'll keep watching 'em.
Love the “chonky ” style of these set of drawers. They would look so good in my mid century modern house.
I really have to learn that trick at the end. It seems pretty efficient. ;)
Unfortunately it only seems to work on rare occasions :)
Good idea using the old melamine filing cabinet as a forming buck.👍
Really great 🤩Your videos are so relaxing and inspiring at the same time. Thanks for sharing! 👋🙋♀👋

Brilliant workmanship accompanied by Robin, Blackbird and Wood Pidgeon song. Superb.
Beautiful work! Yep! The magical duplicating finger snap!
Looks like a set of bedroom nightstands.
Amazing!

Thanks Kathy. I've got a big project on at the moment which is going to take a while so there might be a few smaller videos over the next few weeks.
Love all your work. What a pleasure to watch. Thank you
RUclips woodworking is obsessed with clamps. Love that you built these using only one, and then only to make it square. As always very inspirational, thanks for sharing
Not in this video but I always like it when Jason uses a few opposing wedges to do what other RUclipsrs would use twenty 4 foot clamps for.
Как всегда превосходно!!! Мастер!!! Жму руку вам!!! И крепкого здоровья вам и всем вашим близким!!!
👍
Your construction method is inspirational, genius!
Utile e dilettevole - as my dad used to say: useful and delightful.
So pretty! Simply stunning!!❤❤

Fabulous! Such patience and skill. I wish my dad were alive: he'd have loved this.
You sir are undeniably one of only a very few that have the skills and vision to do this type of work. I love it.
Man for a minute there I thought you were going to be building those out of particle board! I was thinking: "Wow! This I have GOT to see!" This makes more sense though! A very good way to use up a bunch of scraps!
Same, brother, same. Somewhat relieved when he went back to the scraps.
Thank you for sharing your work, youre amazing. I send a hug from Argentina
Thank you, Matias 🙂
Just the total concept is amazing combined with your natural ability and craftsmanship Jason, just so watchable and absorbing.

Gorgeous! Midwest Magic Cleaning said to check you out. So glad I did! I subscribed and can’t wait to see more of your work!
*I love the end grain pieces mixed in. That, and the dark legs/handles. Fantastic work.*
Thanks :)
They turned out well and I'm sure would make a welcome addition to any bedroom. Brilliant, thanks for the upload.

Как всегда отличный результат. И как всегда не стандартные идеи. Спасибо.

Thank you, Mark. I wish I could get more videos out, but yes, the editing makes it slow work. Hopefully not too long until the next one 🙂
I’ll be watching it later. Never miss your videos, I think they are fascinating. Keep it going, you’re one one a kind.😁👍
As always very nicely done. Creative but simple. If you can call what you did simple. Love it.
