My grandfather used to be a foreman in a lumberyard and would take home scrap wood to play around with in his shed. He sadly died 20 years ago, before youtube. I'm sure if he had lived he would have loved your channel, and this video. Thank you :)

My late domestic partner installed hardware in a cabinet shop for close to twenty years, and would often bring home the cabinet grade scrap wood and drawer boxes. He would have loved this channel and might’ve been inspired by your work. Your attention to detail and careful measurements remind me of him. Thank you for sharing your process with your fans. I think my favorite part is the tabletop that looks inspired by a log cabin quilt pattern.

I must confess I'm most amazed at the table top. It's simple, but it's beautiful. Almost everyone on YT either uses a whole piece of wood or use colored resin to fill the gaps, sure it's pretty, but it became quite average. I have no idea where you get your inspiration from, but things you create always bring a feeling of goodness, uniqueness, beautiful and creative things.

Did you see the one where he used a old door for the top??? That video is astonishing, as well. Not just the design creativity, but the ingenuity, as well. Then again, you can say that about all his videos. I’ve asked him before, but I’d love to know his story and how he became this incredibly proficient, and endlessly inspired. Ok 2 things I love about your channel...ok there are more than 2 but here are the top 2...1 I don't need anybody to teach me how to use my tools...but I love new ideas on what to create with my offcuts...and 2 I love that you use old and new tools...when I took carpentry in high school......a long long time ago...they made us use all the hand tools before any machines..eg making dovetail joints so to see all the hand tools from my past and... that I still have is awesome...Keep up the great work!!! One thing I do need to get is a ...as I call it a baby square :o)
