Only someone who TRULY EMBRACES & LOVES woodworking can do things like this. I'd even go as far as saying even good workers wouldn't, and couldn't pull this off ( the carving ) without resorting to using power tools. I've only ever seen Japanese woodworkers do stuff like this, one must "become the wood" so to speak.

The detail that goes into his pieces and the patience needed to carry this out is astonishing to me as a newbie. I get immense satisfaction from seeing ppl use their hands to build or carve something as special as a piece of art like this. Big up to this man. He ,simply put, is a master craftsman. I love watching your projects! Every time I think you make something beautiful and intricate, you make a few more embellishments to it that elevates it even further. Also, as a fellow content creator I appreciate that you don’t speak, or show the complete process of the project, but rather you show how each step is done on one little section and then jump ahead to that step being done. Your work is done in a way that keeps my brain working on what and how you are doing something so that if I wanted to try it too, I feel like I can do it. 👍

I just found this video, Jason, and it's always a GREAT surprise when I do. As usual, I watched fascinated throughout as you weaved your magic with great patience, detail and artistry. Gawd only knows how long these pieces take you to complete, but you always edit the time perfectly for the viewer.
I always wonder if you make the items to order, or if you just come up with these genius ideas and designs and then advertise them for sale. Whichever, I sure hope you get the top price they deserve. If I won the lottery, I'd commision you to fit my entire new home out with your amazing items. All the best, my friend, Ray.

I am certain that you hear this all of the time. It is your patience as well as your attention to detail that just shows through in your craftsmanship. This is part of what the world is starting to lose. I can stack woodworkers by the dozen that are out there. You are a Craftsman in the true sense. What people may miss in your 30 min videos is the real time and dedication to your craft. You never rush. You never take shortcuts. For the most part, you use tools that even a basic woodworker has on hand. You use well selected used wood, which is of good quality in its heart, with clean grain and superb dryness. It is the culmination of all of these things that sets you apart. Your videos are inspiring if not a bit intimidating. Again it comes back to your patience. Thank you for always sharing your work with us.
